I had an Acorn stairlift, then I fell and fractured my pelvis.Because of this your stairlift that comes all the way down to the floor was ordered. I think that the price I paid for the second one plus the price I paid for the first one that was returned was excessive and I would appreciate a refund.

Gets you upstairs but design flaws
Beeping annoying when start. Had a "6" error when going up the stairs and kept beeping and thought it would never stop. Disappointed does not have an alarm when seatbelt not fastened. Moves consistently but would not call it "glides". Foot rest does not swivel with the seat so not safe when getting off chair. But gets me up the stairs.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful in understanding what my aunt needed. From the time we made the call to installation was just one week. Everyone we contacted seemed to care for my aunts safety as much as I do. We are 100% satisfied!

Excellent choice
The complete experience was exactly as I had expected. Installation was quick, operation was simple, and everything works as advertised. The hardest part so far is learning not to leave things on the stairs to carry upstairs later.

When the installor left we found that the track is not even while we were using the chair. the chair rocks sometimes and stops because hanging up on the uneven track,

REPLACING FAULTY CHAIRLIFT
My 2014 chairlift one was dying the other died. I had to purchase 2 new carriages. I had chairs and rails so just carriages. From the very first call I made to the last. Customer service was 5 star.The telephone service was perfect, understood my issue and directed me to proper person/dept. The technician Jacob, and Daniel were awesome. The heard my issues dealt with them, cleaned up after themselves, I can't say enough how grateful I am to have used ACORN again. Staff is wonderful. I am happy with my two new carriages. Thank you , a happy customer

Outrageously bad experience
My experience with Acorn has been the single most frustrating, disappointing, outrageous experience I have had with any service company. They will not come and service our broken stair lift. They have given us the runaround, repeatedly asking for measurements and photos, and then telling us they cannot find them, open them, or just don’t know what we’re talking about. They finally sent a serviceman out after I complained all of her social media, and he had the wrong account, was prepared to service another kind of stair lift, and the main office said we had to start a new account because they can’t find our photos, again. Clearly, they are looking to sell stair lifts, but do not care what happens to them afterwards they will not service their product.
