I purchased this scale for my elderly mother. This scale exceeded my expectations. It's very sturdy and for residential use I expect it to last a lifetime. I especially like that the base is large enough that I don't worry about my mother falling while trying to get on/off it. The display is large and bright and the controls are easy for an 88-year old to manage. The scale arrived promptly and as an added bonus, it was very easy for me to put together.

After ordering a scale and not hearing anything for a couple of weeks I called to inquire about it. I was then told that the scale that I had ordered was out of stock. The rep suggested a different scale which was a little higher priced. I do not have a problem with an item being out of stock but do think that it was very poor customer service that I had to call in order to find out after 2 weeks that this was the case.
With that being said I am happy with the scale that I received.

Our experience so far with two scales has been great. We had an issue with the first and an unsecured level - and received a replacement scale when we notified them. They've performed and held calibration beautifully.

Our old scale gave up on us, so the new bench model scale was ordered and received within a week. Awesome service, and we love the new scale!

I have purchased scales and balances from H&C Weighing Systems before and decided to use them again. The first scale that I purchased was a wash-down scale, which works great for the application. This new balance outperforms my set of expectations.

I had a very pleasant experience once everything was sorted out, what I mean by this is that when I ordered I made a mistake with the card information, and the order was denied, I was not notified by anyone until I called the company direct to see why I had not received my scale, I was then told that my transaction was declined and I should have been notified, however the rep I talked to was very helpful and help me realize the mistake I made, I corrected the information and was very impressed with the service I received.
