Purchase and delivery of freezer
I was most impressed by the whole sale process. Kept up to date on delivery, on the day of delivery the driver informed me that he was stuck in traffic and would be later than he expected. I was going out that evening and nobody would be in.He asked if he could leave it somewhere safe, i asked him if he could put in the shed, which he agreed to. He was brilliant, it was safely delivered. First class service from start to finish

Absolutely horrendous experience
Absolutely horrendous experience. Appliance don’t fit space due to additional lip at the top of the fridge measuring g 1/2 inch extra.
After disputing cost of collection, and heated discussion, call was terminated.
I applied through PayPal and was rejected and offered to pay for collection, and was ignored. Calls put down, and emails ignored.
I was then informed I had to keep it.
I have put it in my shed as it doesn’t fit inside the house.
When fitting I discovered multiple damage issue inside and on the lettering.
I am stuck with a fridge freezer costing £600 that doesn’t fit and damaged.
I have a chronic illness and too overwhelmed to fight anyone for a while.
Utterly disappointed and an overwhelming experience.
Was told my emails went to spam and it’s too late to return.

We strongly dispute the version of events presented in this review and feel it is important to set the record straight.
Our staff were subjected to repeated shouting and swearing during telephone calls. This behaviour was unacceptable, and the calls were terminated as a result. There was no “heated discussion” from our side. We will always try to assist customers, but we will not tolerate our staff being spoken to in this manner.
Your emails were automatically filtered into our spam system because of the language used, rather than being deliberately ignored.
We also explained to you that you had initiated a PayPal chargeback, which was subsequently rejected. During the time this dispute was ongoing, the applicable returns period expired, meaning we were no longer able to accept the appliance back under the standard returns process.
You emailed us yesterday with photographs of the fridge in your shed and told us how happy you were with it. Had you reported damage to us, we would have had the opportunity to investigate and address it.
We have been clear and consistent throughout and have offered assistance where appropriate. We cannot accept responsibility for issues that were not reported to us, nor can we accept abusive behaviour towards our staff.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry you were unhappy with the delivery, however, we do feel it is important to clarify the service provided.
Your order was placed with a free one-person delivery service, which is clearly advertised at the time of ordering. The delivery information, including the one-person nature of the service, is also reiterated when your delivery timeslot is sent the day before.
On arrival, our driver found that the property had a flight of stairs. Despite this, and despite the delivery being a one-person service, he went beyond the service provided and carried the appliance up the stairs.
At no point was there a charge for your free delivery. We therefore feel our driver actually provided additional assistance beyond what was included with the service you selected.
We’re disappointed that this was reflected in a one-star review, particularly given the extra effort made by our driver to assist you.

6.30 am delivery totally ridiculous
Delivery was quoted hours between 7am-7pm, with a text message / email the day before confirming the two hour window. I received an email to confirm between 7-8 am, then to receive a text stating between 6.30 and 7.30, sorry this is totally unacceptable, a delivery at 6.30 in the morning, ridiculous. I rang and spoke to a member of staff who was condescending to say the least, when I said we would not be able to receive an item at 6.30am, he said he couldn’t confirm that it wouldn’t be here at that time. I said we won’t be available at 6.30am and it would be a wasted journey, we are available from 7am delivery as per previous email and verbal communication. The males parting shot was well ‘that’s up to you love’ wow! The sales aspect with Matthew was excellent, was also considering buying a washing machine from you, now I think not!! Can and must do better, customer service from that team member 1/10!!

As I explained, if our delivery system plans a delivery for 7:30am, the delivery software automatically generates a timeslot of one hour either side, which in this case resulted in the 6:30am–8:30am window you received.
We would be very unlikely to arrive before 7:00am, and we appreciate that a 6:30am delivery would not be reasonable. Unfortunately, our delivery software can display the slot this way, which clearly caused confusion between the information provided by email and text.
We appreciate your kind comments regarding Matthew and are sorry that the issues with the delivery information have left you questioning whether to shop with us again. We hope you’ll give us another opportunity in the future to provide the experience you should have received this time.
