Having just completed Level 2, I can say that the work was manageable and engaging. I can't speak to what other tutors are like, but Marion is an excellent tutor and for that I can only look fondly upon my experience with Astranti.

A life changing experience!
Just completed the on-line level 2 counselling skills course with Astranti Connect and would 100% recommend them to anyone. Marion, our tutor, was amazing - so helpful, supportive and caring, she made the whole experience fantastic and one I'll always have happy memories of. This course, and Marion, took me on a life changing journey I never realised how much I needed. The course content was interesting and easy to follow without any long assignments to complete. I'll definitely be signing up to complete level 3 with them. If you're thinking about doing your level 2 Counselling Skills course with Astranti then I say stop thinking and just go for it - you won't regret it!

Great L2 instructor!
Marion is truly a wonderful instructor! She wholeheartedly models the values I am striving towards embodying professionally (empathy, non-judgment, curiosity, etc.), as well as the BACP ethical principles she teaches. I know the class is not meant to be group therapy, but the atmosphere and power of the group that Marion leads makes the container supportive and therapeutic for all students' self-inquiry process.
I am very grateful for her instruction. Marion also is truly sensitive to include the experiences of those who are neurodiverse, preparing us to hold space for clients who are. Her teaching around belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion, informed by her studies in America, was impressive; she embodies the desire to continuously learn more in this area, and I strive to embody that in my career as well.

Excellent Experience on L2
I have just completed the Level 2 Counselling Course and it has been the best experience. Marion, our tutor, brilliantly guided us through the learning in a safe, open environment that allowed the group to express ourselves and therefore learn in an honest and open way. The skills practise elements were a vital part of my learning and the structure of the workbook and assessment is fabulous.
I had taken a Level 2 course at my local college, but I realise now that was a waste of time and money because I had no contact with peers or anyone as experienced in counselling as Marion. The information she shared with us made everything much easier to understand.

I wouldn't recommend...
Completing this counselling course was an awful experience. It was a very expensive course yet the teaching and the support were terrible. The first tutor had no idea what she was doing (not her fault just shoddy training). The second tutor was extremely rude, condescending and prejudiced towards some of the students, this was very uncomfortable to witness and made me dread every lesson. When the concerns and complaints were raised with the course facilitators they were completely uninterested and just pointed us back to the tutor. I've never written a bad review ever but this company truly horrified me, the way they treated some of the students is completely against the counselling ethics. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the students were left needing counselling after completing this course!

very poor organization
very poor organization, my wife was enrolled on a counseling course which she had been on for numerous weeks. i booked a surprise holiday for us and she missed 3 sessions, due to the fact we had very poor Internet access and no laptop from our hotel. she tried to contact the tutor on 3 occasions yet never got any reply.when we eventually returned home my wife went to log on only to be told she was being kicked off the course as her attendance would have been less than 85% even though she had missed just 3 lessons. it was a surprise holiday that i had told her about at very short notice therefore not her fault at all . completely heartless, money grabbing thieves

Many thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts - I'm really sorry to hear that your wife wasn't able to complete the course.
As with all CPCAB courses, there is a strict 85% attendance requirement in order to be able to successfully complete the course - this is to ensure that students are able to cover all of the essential content and skills practice.
We reference this throughout the application and enrolment process and all students sign an enrolment form to confirm they have read and understand this and all other requirements of the course.
I've looked back at our records and have checked with the tutor directly and it appears that your wife missed 5 weeks/sessions in a row without communication, and she only reached out to the tutor afterwards. Her tutor responded promptly on the same day, explaining that due to the CPCAB’s attendance policy, she would no longer be able to pass the course as the maximum number of sessions allowed to be missed is 3.8 and this had been exceeded at this point.
We aim to make it as easy as possible to plan ahead and for all of our courses, we publish the course timetable on our website and at the point of sign up for all of our courses - this shows all of the dates and times that a student would be expected to attend before they sign up. Our student support team are also happy to answer any specific questions or queries about this.
Most of our courses follow school holidays and there are several weeks over the duration of the course where no sessions are been planned.
On this occasion, we don't have a record of your wife contacting our student support team directly and unfortunately by the time she had reached out to her tutor, the maximum amount had been exceeded and wouldn't have met the requirements to pass the course.
I can understand that this would be disappointing but if you or your wife have any further questions or queries about this, please do get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

Honestly Astranti have just been awful
Honestly Astranti have just been awful.
I paid my deposit for a course and got confirmation over the phone that my place was locked in. Made arrangements with my workplace for all the time off needed - to then be contacted by Astranti telling me there actually wasn't space on the course after all.
I then paid a second deposit for a different course, while waiting several weeks for my first deposit to be refunded. I did not receive any correspondence regarding this second course, but assumed I was booked in as they had taken my deposit. I called them multiple times and emailed once just to double check.
I started a new job and negotiated my pay based on attending this course with Astranti. I then finally got through to them - only to be told the course I had paid a deposit for was also full. Just like the first.
I now have to renegotiate with my work and find another course to attend. Avoid Astranti at all costs.
EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM ASTRANTI:
While I have enrolled on a course with them - this was due to the job offer I had negotiated based on the original 2 courses Astranti had said I had a place on not being able to change.
The only reason for sticking with Astranti was that no other courses are on offer from competitors that fit around my new work schedule.

Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and a place is only confirmed once the deposit is paid, the enrolment form completed, and a confirmation email sent. This process is explained in the email where you receive details to pay your deposit and enrolment form.
While we try to give accurate availability updates during calls, this is provided as a general guide of the current spaces remaining and the high demand for our courses means spaces can fill quickly and I’m sorry if this caused any frustration.
Regarding your refund, I’ve checked and can confirm it was processed within a week of receiving your details. I understand that bank transfers can take longer to appear, and I’m sorry if this added to your concerns.

Missed the Mark on Depth and Communication
I recently completed a Level 6 supervision course with Astranti Connect, and unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Despite the course’s claims to provide a solid foundation and in-depth understanding, I found the content lacked depth and mostly covered surface-level concepts. Key theoretical principles were overlooked, making it feel more like a lower-level course. This was surprising, especially since I’ve heard from others who took the same CPCAB course with different providers and found it thorough and insightful.
Communication from both the tutors and the admin team was inconsistent, often leaving questions about the course, deliverables, and theories unanswered or addressed superficially. Responses could sometimes contradict one another, adding to the confusion. Although two tutors were mentioned in the initial discussions, only one was consistently available for teaching and marking. Additionally, the platform (Google Classroom) seemed unfamiliar to staff, and the syllabus itself was not clearly communicated, which made it challenging for many to stay on top of the course requirements.
Feedback on assessments was brief and did not provide enough guidance for improvement. Course materials felt limited, lacking the comprehensive coverage one would expect for a course of this level. I also encountered issues with administrative processes, especially regarding payments, which frequently required follow-ups or corrections.
When I shared my concerns with Astranti Connect, their response was detailed, and they acknowledged plans to address these points for future courses. I hope these improvements lead to a better experience for upcoming students. However, based on my experience, I would not recommend this training provider at this time.

All 17 students on the course responded to our end of course feedback survey and in response to the question: “how satisfied have you been with the quality of the course content and structure?” we received a score of 4.7 / 5.0.
Students also praised the teaching quality, where we were given a score of 4.9 / 5.0 in response to the question “how satisfied have you been with the quality of the teaching you received in class?”.
It was fantastic to see that they rated the overall quality of their L6 course as 4.8 / 5.0.
We believe this feedback from our most recent group is a testament to the changes that we’ve made and our commitment to continuous improvement.

Would not recommend
Unfortunately i would not recommend Astranti. I was given inaccurate information from the very beginning, I was mislead about the level and quantity of work required for this course when I asked directly at the initial interview. Wrong term dates and submission dates given that were spotted and reported by other students. Disorganised, inconsistent and confusing structure of the course with little support in place. The management of the group and organisation of work submissions via Google classroom was awful, staff were not familiar with the online platform, leaving us to fend for ourselves and work it out for the most part. Best thing about it was meeting a lovely group of peers. 😊

Lacklustre, frustrating and disappointing quality of service and teaching
Astranti Connect really need to look again at the way they treat their students, their admin, communication and teaching. Unfortunately my experience of them has been one of frustration and disappointment - from lacklustre teaching to admin errors and now I am still waiting for my certificate to arrive two whole months since CPCAB sent it to Astranti - despite repeated assurances from Astranti. They promised so much and the other students were wonderful, but the overall teaching and course management experience has been challenging to say the least.

I’m pleased to say we’ve already made several changes based on the feedback we received and have since had positive initial comments and feedback based on these specific modifications.
In relation to your certificate - in general it takes around 3 months for us to receive it from CPCAB and we then aim to send these within four weeks in a monthly batch.
According to our tracking data, it appears that you should have now received your certificate and we have been in touch with you directly about the specific causes of this delay - however please do accept my apologies once again for this wait as I can understand how this would be frustrating.
We’ve also updated how we process certificates in future to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.
I am, however, happy to hear that you had such a nice group of students on your course - this can really make an experience and I'm glad this was a real positive for you.

Worthwhile experience
I completed the Level 2 Counselling Skills course and found it to be a very rewarding and engaging experience. The course also challenged me to develop my reflective skills with the various homework tasks and assignments, which was repetitive at times but not without reason as, again, it challenged us to be more reflective. I also enjoyed the tutor's conversational teaching style in the main, and many different topics and techniques relevant to Counselling were covered throughout the course. However, I did feel at times that some role-playing/demonstration involving the tutor might have helped provide a base for our learning as students as well, in my opinion. Overall, a very positive experience.

Don't use this company
Don't use this company! I made the mistake of signing up for a level 2 face to face course but am.now unable to attend due to ill health.
They informed me that they would be taking the rest of the payments even though I am not taking the course. I have now blocked them from stealing my money even though I am unemployed.

I’m really sorry to hear that you decided not to attend your course. All of our courses are dependent on minimum and maximum student numbers permitted by CPCAB as well as our own limits that allow us to offer the course.
From our records, you got in touch with us to let us know that you’d like to withdraw 11 days prior to your course starting - unfortunately, this is significantly less notice than the 28 days that we require for changes or withdrawals from the course.
It’s important that we’re able to run our scheduled courses so that we don’t let down students who are already on the course. Having these policies is vital for preventing significant numbers of last-minute drop-outs, which may cause us to have to postpone the course for everyone.
All of our policies are written in a clear, simple and easy-to-understand way, and it’s important that all students read and agree to them before joining the course. It’s also worth saying that very similar policies exist with many other courses as well as businesses in other areas, including airline tickets, hotel bookings, or bookings for sporting events.
Our terms and conditions are available on our website, throughout the application process and in the enrolment form/contract that you signed when you joined the course. As an extra reminder, we also included these withdrawal terms in the email we sent to confirm we had received your deposit and enrolment form.
We got in touch with you to offer to meet to discuss your withdrawal in more detail but didn’t hear back from you in relation to this.

Their course was well structured
Their course was well structured. This was with a workbook that you could read and update at your own pace. This was structured with the lessons for the week, so there was plenty of time to absorb the information and be prepared for the upcoming sessions.
The tutor, in addition to being professional and kind, was a pillar of support throughout the course. Their constant availability via email provided a safety net, ensuring that no question or concern was left unaddressed. This support was a constant source of reassurance, boosting my confidence in the learning process.
Assignments were not just given, but given with ample time for preparation. This allowed for a relaxed and controlled approach to the tasks, ensuring that you could give your best without feeling rushed.
The short, condensed course structure led to a lot of assignments coming together at the end, which could feel pressured. However, with good preparation and time management, this should not be a problem. It's important to note that this structure also encourages a focused and intensive learning experience.
Astranti provides a website with lots of structured information to access, and there are also free seminars on different topics. I would say getting involved. It enhances your learning and getting to meet new like-minded people.

There was so much communication, and the systems worked well. Overall a very smooth and easy course to take part in, with excellent teaching, support, qualifications and framework. Being able to do a fast track course also meant I did a course I likely wouldn't have done in it's usual format, which has boosted and fast tracked my career.

Counselling courses
I studied level 2 and 3 counselling with Astranti and I’m staying with them for level 4. It has been a great experience and Astranti have been really supportive throughout. It was important to me that their courses are recognised and accredited with the British Association of Counsellor’s and Psychotherapists. The course content is of a high standard.

Wonderful training provider
I’ve had an excellent experience with Astranti. My tutor was absolutely fantastic and I’ve learnt so much. I have completed Level 2 and 3 in Counselling with them and I am booked to start Level 4 with them in January.

Brilliantly delivered. I learnt so much
I have done a lot of courses on line so have a lot to compare with. I did the level 2 counselling online with astranti and was so pleased I picked them. The initial onboarding was great. The delivery method was extremely efficient and the tutor Dyanne was consistent, supportive and kept the group moving forward seamlessly. Really recommend
