I have been with astranti for 2 years completing my level 2&3. I have had amazing support from a wonderful tutor. I'm moving towards level 4 in Sept with them and definitely wouldn't be doing this if i felt that it was lacking in anyway. I was initially really worried about studying on-line after a terrible Open University experience, but it has been great
I cannot fault them, a few niggles when they expanded and the admin support could be better organised. On
the whole the course was fantastic,
lots of resources, support and
reassurance.

I did a level 2 counseling course in March 2024. The course is very commercialized. It is created by people who are not passionate about what they are doing: tedious old-times storytelling, and no use of modern technology. I am a visual learner. The way the course is built does not at all consider that. No slides, no summaries of what has been learned. Even such a tool as PowerPoint is unknown to them. Documentaries from the late 60s show how far they have come. No refund is possible.
Waste of time and money.

I have just completed and passed my level 3 counselling cpcab course with Astranti after last year finishing g level 2.

The professionalism, communication and support from my very first enquiry was outstanding.

My teacher Kate was empathetic, kind, supportive and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed this course and would highly recommended this

I'm currently doing my second course with Astranti Connect and I've been impressed with both of them. The Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills online was a great introduction to the profession, well taught by an experienced tutor. I'm now studying Level 3 online and enjoying it immensely. The course material is comprehensive and well-written, and the course tutor is friendly and engaging. She provides us with a wealth of insights and encourages us to become the best counsellors we can be. I'd strongly recommend Astranti to anyone interested in becoming a counsellor.

I have been in a position of taking counselling training with colleges, and yes the cost is cheaper, however, I found the tutoring was of a poor standard. I recently tried to speak to a college about my future as the face-to-face course would have been 10 mins from my front door, but then the counsellor/tutor "of more than 20 years experience" kept interrupting me it didn't look good.

I now have a plan to move forward, a chance to train as a tutor long-term, and a support structure I have not found with any other counselling training company. Yes, there is a cost to this, let's not kid ourselves, but I can see this is a private company and does not have the government grant handouts that colleges have. I see this as an investment in my own progression.

The CPCAB L2 course I am completing online is by far the best group I have ever worked with. The tutor is supportive, clear, precise, and empathic. I can't wait to progress with the support of this company.

Astranti took over Devon and cornwall counselling hub mid way through my training and it was hostile to say the least!!

They have taken an amazing business model with indepth and robust learning and completely obliterated it in favour of the mighty ££££

Customer service is non existent , we were left hanging , not knowing what was happening at the end of our level 4 training as the company decided to ostracise the man responsible for building the hub from the ground up, which for me says so much about the company and its ethos!!

They are a business who have taken over a counselling model and NOT counsellors with a vested interest in producing the very best next generation of counsellors and it shows.

Our CoP exam was a utter disaster and had to be sat in a place non of us had been to before instead of our usual venue for no other reason than cost cutting and once there we discovered there with no access to the Internet, even though the exam is only available online!! There was no apologies or effort made to help those sitting the exam either, which mirrors the support Astranti have offered thus far, which is nothing!

If you want to be a counsellor look elsewhere for training providers, this company is a sham!

At no point did Astranti even offer a hello when they took over , you have not been forthcoming with contact info and don't reply to emails!! ( funny how you can't find the emails I sent)

You failed to support the students in any way , shape or form, infact you have contributed to stress and anxiety by witholding diplomas and certificates until threatened with action.

You have been silent since taking over , apart from sending me generic junk mail trying to get me to spend further money!!!

As for the way you handled to takeover - that is not my experience of the situation and to try cover how you have behaved towards staff and students alike is cowardly but sadly expected from a company that accepts zero responsibility for its poor behaviour, non existent communication and inability to offer support to the people who you depend on to keep your business model afloat!! Oh the irony of a counselling training provider lacking the vital elements needed to create a successful therapeutic alliance!!

I went with astranti following lots of research, good reviews and being really keen to find a fast track course at L2 that allowed me to work remotely. I had a lovely class of peers and despite my concerns around working remotely made genuine connections with people. My tutor was very warm, engaging and helped as much as she could.
What let the course down for me was the lack of support and feedback. About 2/3 way through the course important parts of the portfolio of work were introduced with mixed messaging as to how these should be completed. Advice on what needed submitted and in what way varied causing me much confusion, questions took a long time to answer. Although work was submitted weekly via Google classroom there was limited feedback, even when the work was being done incorrectly which led to a lot of duplication. Sometimes work was submitted but not received by the tutor for unknown reasons.
Overall I felt that my tutor was not supported by astranti to do the job to the best of her ability, I hope that is remedied on future courses because she is an asset to the team.
I will not be pursuing any further counselling training courses with this company, for me the lack of clarity and support impacted my enjoyment which is so unfortunate because I met a really lovely bunch of classmates and my tutor had a lot of experience and knowledge to offer which I am sure would have helped on L3.

I highly recommend Astranti Connect and so far, I am finding the course highly rewarding and beneficial. Our teacher is amazing even within the virtual classroom, Jennifer creates a safe space in order for us all to fulfil our full potential. There is a gentle step by step approach in which we are all making giant strides forward, but without it being overwhelming. The technique of using positive reinforcement and reflection throughout all our exercises, really helps teach us as well as laying strong foundations in order for us all to progress. I’m truly enjoying every moment of learning more and exploring my personal growth and self-reflection and getting to know myself better in the process. The staff behind the scenes are also approachable and efficient and are always happy to help and do a great job. Astranti Connect gets a 5 star review from me.

I have been with Astranti for over 2 years now, where I have completed level 2 & 3. My experience has been so amazing, I’m starting level 4 in September. My tutor on 2 & 3 knowledge was second to none and created a safe and fun environment to learn. If you are thinking about taking a counselling path of learning or if you are interested in finding out more about yourself, then use this company, my whole journey has been a life changer.

I chose to do Level 2 online as I travel around a lot. I was a little concerned that it might be too much spending all day online but the day is structured really well with plenty of breaks and different learning activities. The Astranti team are great - there were some teething problems with the online platform but the admin team have been super helpful and our tutor was excellent. I've really enjoyed my experience and have already booked my level 3 online course.

I have just completed Level 2 and have loved every second. My initial disappointment regarding it being on line soon disappeared and it in no way deterred from building relationships with the other students. Our tutor was incredibly supportive and approachable, her kindness and encouragement was so motivating. I am already excited for level 3.

I have really enjoyed the course I have completed. The materials, content and tutor support were all excellent. The feedback provided was timely and constructive.

I'm currently on the Counselling Skills Level 2 course and so far the course has been really interesting. The tutors are welcoming, kind and knowledgeable and we have already learned a lot about active listening skills. They give detailed constructive feedback every week, both written and verbal, on how we are doing. Really looking forward to the rest of the course!

I have really enjoyed this course. The online format has made it possible for me to attend. The teaching has been clear and supportive. I've been surprised at how in-depth this level 2 course has been - I feel really well equipped to continue down this path and learn more.

I have almost completed Counselling Skills Level 2. Although, at the start of this course I felt uncertain aspects about Google classroom it has all worked out well. My tutor has been very supportive throughout the course. I have to opportunity to have 1:1 session to check on my progress or discuss any other concerns. Also, I am able to contact my tutor via the portal if I have any questions about my assignment. My assignments are marked within a good timescale and feedback is prompt. Inspiration has been enhanced by the positive comments provided by my tutor as a group and individually about our progression.

I would highly recommend Astranti Connect, they deliver their course to a high standard and are extremely professional teaching staff.
