Can only comment on the speed of delivery and the way it came packed as i am away with work and have not unpacked the bike yet. Will get back to you when i put the bike together. Kevin

After owning 2 x EMX bikes for more than 2 years now, I warn potential buyers against the poor quality. I purchased these bikes as xmas presents for my 2 children. Within the first year the battery terminals melted in their holders. Ausstech refused to warrant their product. Various other failures have also occurred, including the bearings in the crank shaft completely collapsing, flimsy plastic parts breaking, chain sprockets wearing excessively and some insulation on cables splitting. These bikes have not experienced a lot of use nor rough treatment. I have worked on bikes my whole life (I am 60) and have not experienced this rapid decline in a bike. I urge you buy elsewhere.

They are not replying to my support request. I have issue with the controller display. Have email and I am getting no replies. Best description is ghosting

I have paid for a battery yet don't have the battery. No one answers calls or emails.

I have had one of the bikes for years and all good. The battery needed replacing and I received the wrong battery. I have returned that battery as asked yet now no one will answer my contact requests. Out of pocket on a new battery.

After experiencing an E009 error on my Beachrider I ended up on getting so much help via the chat customer help support team.

You can do better. Customer service needs to improve.

I ordered a replacement gear lever.
I was charged $20 postage.
Three days later I got an Australia Post tracking number issued to me but it took Ausstech another six days to actually lodge the item with Post.
They told me "it was accidentally missed in (their) dispatch trolley".
Once Post had it the delivery time was acceptable.
However, it was sent as under 500g parcel post (max $10.75 - depends on what bulk discounts they are getting) wrapped in bubble wrap, taped to a piece of old cardboard and then taped up in the cut off corner of a larger plastic satchel (lets say 25c for the packing materials). This is not what I would call acceptable packaging.
No way did i receive $20 worth of shipping.
For $20 they could have sent it express, got it to me in 3 or 4 days and still made money on the deal.

Service was excellent. The quality of the bike I bought exceeded my expectations. I would have given five starts if I'd had the manual before I took delivery and not had to go hunting on line for it. After I raised this as an issue I was informed it was an over site so hopefully no one else is similarly effected. Otherwise I'm impressed and very happy with my purchase.
