I would highly recommend this company for excellent customer service and the quality of the boots.
I’m a size 6.5-7, so ordered a 7, they were too big, I sent them back with the free postage sticker, and requested a size 6, this was all changed within a week.
The size 6 fits perfectly, even on the warm day Tuesday, my feet didn’t get hot or sweaty , I got used to them straight away.
Brilliant, very happy customer.

Quality product backed up with quality servoce

I have just recieved my third order from bareback footwear. Having very awkward feet I have always had to buy boots with zips in them.
Bareback have recently added Quebec ankle boots to their range now with a zip side.
Having already purchased the higher Quebec boots with a zip I ordered the ankle boots.
Ordered them 2 days ago and they were delivered by the post office this morning.
They fit like a glove and my feet slide in and out easily.
I would highly recommend the service and the quality of their boots.
Will definitely make future purchases.

I called in at Bareback footwear today as I didn’t really know what I wanted as I have slightly tricky feet. They couldn’t have taken more time and trouble to help me and were extremely patient! Top class customer care. The Hudson calf length boots are so comfortable and very good quality - I’m very excited about them! I’m certain they won’t be my last pair of boots from Bareback footwear!

I ordered the Quebec waterproof boots.
I am so pleased with them as they are really comfortable to walk in and my feet are always toastie warm and dry. The leg of the boot is great for people with a larger calf. I am a size five, I ordered a 5 and they are a perfect fit.
I would recommend these boots to anyone.

Brought these a few months ago as a friend recommended them saying how comfortable hers were.. well I have to disagree.. I’ve had to take the inner soles out to make more room for my feet so not as comfortable now as not as cushioned & hard under foot, the zip is a nightmare, so difficult to do up, I’d have thought after persevering for a few months it would get easier & I’d end up loving them but unfortunately not, the zip is still a nightmare, I’d have thought for the amount of money they cost they would have a fluid zip.. definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Boots arrived yesterday, over the moon with them , they are a brilliant fit and I couldn't believe how comfortable they are.
I fully recommend them to anyone

Unreal customer service! Online order with the personal touch - communication is excellent and customers are clearly valued. Nothing is too much trouble. Packaged beautifully. Two things to mention -
Customer service is superb. They really do value what customers say and respond well to queries with prompt and helpful email communication.
Secondly their products are top quality. The Jodhpur boots I ordered are the Comfiest thing I've ever put on my feet. Absolutely brilliant.

We purchased two pairs of boots from the shop today - the Quebec slip on and Toddy short boots. It was great to see the full range of boots available. My size 4 boots fit perfectly.
The packaging is very impressive. Bareback takes great care over not only the production of their products but also the journey the boots take to reach their customers.
Customer service throughout is excellent, staff keep in contact should a problem occur with delivery.

The boots are quality, comfortable and supportive.
I was concerned about the fit, but there was no need, they fit perfectly.

I am quite a demanding customer meaning that I know exactly what I am looking for. It has taken me some time to research the market and find the waterproof boots for my dog walks. I am usually size 8 but the boot was too large for me. I am very impressed that BB provide "halves" as only high quality products producers do it these days. From day 1 the product was as described - needed time for the leather to get softer. I was quite worried that without shoelaces the boot can be too loose and not comfy on uneven surface. I was so positively surprised: very comfortable, super warm, no need to change insole as it does what it should, no compromise on quality anywhere, all information provided in the box to "educate" how to maintain the boot in good conditions (not pushing you to buy new ones like others producers do). BB reminds me of good old days were boots were for years as they serve the purpose and were very durable. Well done!

Thought these were Quebec ''Waterproof'' boots were great when they arrived.
I look after leather well, and bought Dubbin from the company.
Not had them a year, and walking through a flooded field, this morning had a wet foot. One LEAKS.

Absolutely do not rely on these to keep your feet dry. £195 is a lot to spend for a wet foot.

For damp grass they might be ok, but waterproof? absolutely not.

Edited to mention that not only did the waterproof membrane fail despite much dubbin, but the heels wear down so fast as well. I'm not a heavy person, 10 stones, and the heels are severely worn.
In contrast, 1 2 yr old walking boots still have solid heels in good order.

I bought my Quebec calf length boots at Badminton two years ago and have worn them almost everyday ! The friendly service I experienced on the stand when I bought them was lovely. My boots have gone from strength to strength as they have worn in, they are moulded to me and look great now that they are “aged” They are as waterproof now as they were when I bought them and from the off they were really comfy for my slightly bunion-y feet and my chunky calves. Thankyou Bareback. I am looking forward to getting a different style of your wonderful boots very soon

I bought the quebec boots and found them really comfortable from the first time I tried them on. Really good quality too. The boots arrived well packed in individual cloth bags within the box and outer bag.

I changed my mind and decided I wanted to get ankle boots instead. Customer service was excellent and asked me to send them back. There's already a return label in the box and the packaging can be reused to return the footwear.

It was an easy, pain-free process and within a couple of days my refund was processed.

So it was a very good experience and the boots are lovely. Highly recommend

I live in the country and wanted some waterproof, sturdy boots for daily dog walks across all terrains. I had previously purchased the lace-up Chicago boots in UK6, which fitted perfectly from day one. I was after some slip-on boots, for ease, so went for the Vancouver style in a 6. The length is fine, but my goodness they are SO tight across the top of my foot, agonisingly so, and quite narrow. I have average feet and don't have a high in-step. I tried taking the lovely, squishy (but thick) insole out, as suggested, but they were still painful, plus I didn't like my foot just being on the plain bed of the boot (cold and hard). I stupidly wore them outside too soon, thinking they would stretch a bit, but several weeks later the tops of my feet are in pain without them even being in the boots. I was considering spending another £40 on a boot stretching kit and spray, but don't think it'll make enough difference, so I'm going to have to resort to selling them and losing a lot of money. Customer services were helpful and suggested other styles that might be more comfy, but I'm just going to stick with my old Chicagos as I know they're perfect. Bareback boots are beautifully made and waterproof (where stated) and look great, but if you have anything other than narrow feet, get in touch with customer services to see what style they would suggest.

If these boots were food they are your most favourite Sunday roast, by a roaring fire. Maybe even Christmas dinner. They are everything described in comfort and style; just like walking on air and really beautifully made. I was in the area for work and decided to go to the shop and see these dreamy boots for real. I only had eyes for the Quebec mid calf (this time!) and I was worried if they would fit on my calves. No need!! My foot slid in with ease and they felt and looked fabulous. I chose black and they really are stunning.
Wearing them on my first muddy field walk last night they did everything I needed, non slip, warm, dry and no rubbing. They cleaned up with ease. Roll on Saturday morning football - my feet are ready!
