I'm sorry to write a negative review but after owning a pair of Dakota brown boots since Dec 2022 and looking after them as advised and using the products sold by Bareback. They are no longer waterproof. My entire foot is soaking wet after a walk in the fields. I only wear these for an hour or two a day on dog walks and ALWAYS wipe them clean and dry after every use ! I've contacted customer services and unfortunately, was told they are out of warranty but offered a discount on a new pair. With these not lasting 3 winters, I won't be buying another pair. I'm so disappointed as I love these boots. They looked great and were so warm ☹️

Wonderful company. I really struggle to find boots that fit as I have wide feet and very large calves. I ordered some of their knee high boots in the small hope they might fit and I was right, they didn't - not their fault at all. So I switched to one of their ankle boots instead and called them to get some advice on sizing. They were so helpful. I received the order really quickly and I absolutely love the boots (Quebec Ankle Zip-up). They are instantly incredibly comfortable, no rubbing at all which in my experience is very unusual for new leather boots. They look great and are very well made, sturdy and really good quality. I have no doubt they will last me for years. Love them so much I've just ordered another style!

Hi - just a quick line to say how fabulous your boots are. I’ve had my Montanas for a couple of years and they are the most comfortable boots ever worn . I’m just home from a super tough ride in Turkey where we rode and walked up and down steep rocky paths and I was the only person not to have blisters. I absolutely love them, best boots ever.

Kentucky Storm short riding boot - People are always quick to complain but not very often quick to praise. The service was excellent. I bought these boots from recommendation of Kayliegh Tonkins from Tik Tok. I won't normally listen, as I have made this mistake in the past. But that girl knows her stuff so I thought, I'm going to try them. My feet are terrible for blistering n just feeling sore in any footware new or old. However with these boots I'm not joking, from day dot they have not even hurt once. They are genuinely as comfy if not more so than my slippers. I have worn them around the yard all day today from 7 till 5! Not a sore patch or blister in sight.

I am hyper mobile and can dislocate all my joints easy, but due to the height in these kentucky storm short riding boots I've even poo picked two large fields without going over on either ankle! If you see how rutted our fields are this is an accomplishment in itself!

I've rode in them, walked in them and even broke into a little jog today at one point! Comfy, comfy, comfy! And after all my mucky farm jobs ran a hose over them - brand new again, and 100% waterproof as claimed.

I'm just sad I can't go straight ahead and buy myself a full length riding boot immediately, but I can tell you when I'm needing them I'm heading straight for your boots!

Poor customer service and boots I bought the Quebec waterproof boots after 8 months there no longer waterproof . Customer services just say after 6 months there no longer covered for been waterproof . I have cleaned and conditioned regularly to look after them yet they have still cracked along the the toe crease . Poorly made boot especially with a £200 price tag not even lasted me the year . Would not reccomend this boot at all , left negative on Facebook but they have blocked me so it doesn’t show now.

I have just bought Vermont Tall riding boots and they are 1st rate. Beautifully made top quality, they arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. More substantial than my ariat boots, they will see me through winter riding dry and warm.

This is my second pair of Bareback Boots. They are the most comfortable and sturdy boots I've ever had. Highly recommend!

I decided to order new boots and chaps for my up coming area dressage festival. Unfortunately when they arrived there was a tiny fault with the zip. Absolutely no problem, I returned the boots free of charge, and they were replaced within a week to ensure we made it to our competition. Absolute top class customer service, boots as comfortable as slippers from the word go, coupled with superb quality and value for money. What’s not to
like??

Great boots for the first few months. Unfortunately my feet now become absolutely soaked. I’ve tried to contact bareback but not many options for help. I’ve had them 6 months and for the price I would have expected them to last much longer.

The company was very proactive with regard to my order and maintained contact until completion with constant email updates. The order arrived complete and on time

I purchased a pair of quebec boots for my wifes birthday in September 2023, within 2 months of light use these waterproof boots were leaking.
A new pair was sent to her in November.
Due to it being such a wet winter my wife has chosen to wear a £15 pair of Dunlop wellies.
On returning to wear these replacement premium boots with minimal wear, they leaked immediately.
Customer service has informed us that the warranty only covers the first pair and the second pair would only be covered for 6 months after the first pair were purchased (only giving a 4 month warranty on a replacement pair of new boots)

Poor quality and low customer service scores for a premium priced product.

I just wanted to say that when I first tried the Dakota boots on, they felt like heaven. I have worn them over the weekend and I have to say they are the most comfortable boots. I wish I found them 30 years ago!
