I was so glad I called this company. The Guys were efficient and quick with the moving process. They asked questions when they needed to and were very careful with my belongings. I had no problem with them. They were on time and all was good once they finished, I was at ease and thankful.

Arrived early and were very nice and professional! Unpacked everything neatly with damages. Made my move easy!

Well, first there was an incident in the first 15 minutes of the move when a dolly came up "missing" according to the movers which may or may not have had my boxes on it. That situation has yet to be verified. Because I had so many boxes I'm not sure if anything's missing yet. Second, it took from 9:00 am till about 4:30 pm to move my livingroom, kitchen, one mattress set, and my personal belongings! My 2 bedroom sets were not included in the move. Way way too long! Third,I smelled alcohol on two of the three mover's breath. And fourth, the movers felt the need to remind me to tip them well because they moved items that were not written in the contract. The contract that their walk thru inspector drew-up and, I believe, conveniently left vague for just this reason. To avoid further friction I gave them $150 tip to split between the three of them.

The moving team arrived as scheduled at the pickup location and got to work quickly taking great care in preparing the items for transport.

They very efficiently unloaded and placed all the items at the delivery loocation.

Very professional crew. They handled our stuff with care. Packed and unpacked our things quickly and efficiently. This is the 3rd time we've used Ben Hur and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

The staff moving me out of my condo was efficient, friendly and very professional. I was very pleased with the service and was looking forward to delivery of my belongings after BenHur stored them for 5 days. Upon arrival at my residence, the crew unloaded my belongings promptly. The staff had trouble maneuvering my armoise up the stairs and eventually forced it up the staircase and damaged it. The foreman advised that he would submit pictures and a manager would contact me on Monday to review the claim. I called on Wednesday to follow up and was informed the staff member had never submitted the pictures nor advised the department of the damage. This was very disappointing as I had a great experience with the move out but was very disappointed with the move in and the way the foreman handled the damage claim. I would be hesitate to use Ben Hur again or recommend them to friends now.

there was some confusion at the end - they did not want to take 4 lamps after packing a whole 1 BR apartment unless I paid $30 more (?!) . I paid it and things went smoothly before and after that, so I'd recommend them again since the $30 was nominal.

These guys were fantastic! The were precisely on time. Boxed and wrapped up what they need to, securely and safely. Got my stuff out if my old apartment and into my new apartment, and we're done in 3 1/2 hours.

Ben Hur did an amazing job getting everything packed and moved in an efficient and organized manner. They arrived on time and kept us appraised of progress at all times. I have now used them twice and will absolutely use them again and will always recommend them to others!

The experience was painless. The movers were helpful, packed everything with care and made sure that all items were secure. Really appreciated no drama on an already stressful day.

The mere idea of moving is stressful enough on its own. The act itself can make any sane person have a MEGA meltdown (myself). Not only were the movers extremely prompt, thorough, fast yet still careful, but they were also kind. The foreman, Raphael, was thoughtful enough to go out of his way when he noticed my panic/stress face emerging, and assure me that everything happens for a reason and it'll all work out in the end. When I got to the mega warehouse of storage, i was expecting hidden fees and a headache because of the amount of stuff I had and the stragglers which I forgot to account for when taking inventory of my stuff. No hidden fees, no headache, no waiting for hours for my belongings to be packed into a unit. I was in and out in under an hour. For moving, it was as pain free as the process can be. I will be using the same movers again when I move my stuff out of the storage facility.

The crew worked very hard and were respectful of our items, they took great care with them. Professional, courteous, We were very happy. NOTHING was broken and it was a long trip.

Fantastic movers who did a complex job (2 bedroom/bath Manhattan to Manhattan move in a bldg undergoing active construction) with full pack and unpack services. These guys put in extra hours, and did so with a smile despite tough circumstances. Ben Hur beat all other competitors prices, and likely delivered a higher level of service than most pricier movers would have for the same job. This is the third time I've used them, and will absolutely call them again next time their services are needed.
