Going back a bit, I used Ben Hur 2 years ago, when they arrived, they frowned and told me "Listen lady, you have much more than the estimate they gave you, if you give us $300 tip, we won't call the boss" so I did......

This time around I thought "I don't want to go through the same experience" so when they offered me an "online estimate" I requested for them to send me a person to review ALL my stuff and give me an estimate.
He was walking around for a long time, opening drawers, closets and cabinets, he knew exactly what I had, and gave me an estimate.
Moving day arrived. I have a guy harassing me since the second he walked in, same thing "lady you have much more than they quoted you for" to what I answer "I had a guy walking around my house he knew exactly what I had" things got very ugly, he was aggressive and disrespectful, I asked him not to talk to me in that tone, he told me I was a lier, I was feeling very uncomfortable, I was doing the move alone with my daughter and they knew it. I sent my daughter to the new apartment and told her to wait there for me, the atmosphere was very tense and even scary.
Contacted the manager via e-mail and after explaining the situation I asked him to please replace this guy, he stayed and packed everything until the end, the harassment never stopped!
When we reach to the other end he was gone, but the damage was done. He ruined a day which it should've been a happy exciting day for me, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and afraid. Comparing notes with 2 other friends, it seems this is a constant when using Ben Hur. Will never use them again!

i've used ben hur several times (moving and storage) and have never had a bad moment dealing with them. the estimator and contact person was friendly, helpful, polite and patient with the whole process. the movers who came were so professional and experienced and made for a smooth and comfortable move. hands down i would use them again and recommend them to all of my friends and family!

I was so happy with the move, so we used them for our office move.
They treated our belonging with care and went extra mile to make sure all got home intact and placed in an orderly fashion.

We are writing to thank you for the extraordinary service we received from your company Benhur. The movers asked me to point out all of my fragile boxes and they loaded them one by one into the truck, carefully keeping them apart from everything else in the attic of the truck. That was the biggest concern i had with hiring any movers that no one cares fragile materials but they did. In addition to being careful with my things they showed up on time, the movers were clean, fun to converse with, worked very hard, and didn't stop the whole time they were there. We were also impressed with the team of movers who took such good care of our belongings.They took great care to make sure everything was protected and accounted for – and they were a delight to be around.hey were always on time and over delivered on our expectations and timeline. This team worked flawlessly to meet our deadlines.I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs a company. The quote i received was great. It was a not to exceed price, so i wasn't charged extra at the last minute. I would certainly recommend Benhur to anyone making a move based on the performance of a great team of professionals.

The movers came on time. They were courteous and introduced themselves before entering the house. The move was fast and they offered to assist me with "last minute" packing of some small items I had set aside. The movers did not allow me to lift a muscle during the entire event. Will hire again for the next move!
