During my 6 weeks in barcelona I was given the opportunity to intern at a consulting firm and gain hands on experience working with Catalonias sustainability strategy. I worked hybrid so during my free time I was able to take weekend trips and explore the city. Beyond organized activities for their interns, curating community and providing opportunities to explore parts of barcelona I otherwise wouldn’t have known existed. I made a lot of great memories and I am so grateful to beyond for facilitating a wonderful experience.

I had a great time in Seoul! I would 100% recommend just make sure you budget and try to plan ahead!

Would definitely recommend this program for interns who also want to experience a foreign country! Beyond gives plenty of options for host countries, and the team is very helpful before and during the trip! Everyone I met while abroad were so nice as well as the other interns, I will never forget them!

Only downside is the price of the trip. Very expensive, but the program also includes two activities every week, but only some are paid for. The difference in accommodation locations were pretty big, and you don't get a say in where you stay. Some interns had to travel over an hour every day for work, but for me personally, I was put in a spot one stop away from my job on the subway, which was perfect.

Interning abroad for six weeks was a perfect amount of time to see everything that I wanted to. The Seoul team was very helpful in setting up our subway cards, and answering any questions we had. The range of activities set up for us were very big, some days we visited historical sites, others would be more modern. I feel like I got the full Seoul experience! Thank you Beyond!

Through Beyond Academy, I was able to land an amazing internship and explore Seoul for six weeks! Every step of the way Beyond Academy was there to help and guide me. From helping me prep for interviews or resolving issues with my accommodations, I am so glad that I took this opportunity! This was my first time traveling by myself ever, and I was very nervous about being alone in a new country! But the coordinators in Seoul were so helpful and kind! They made sure that my trip to Seoul went smoothly and that I got to my accommodations safely. Whenever I had a problem I knew I could reach out to them for help!

Exploring the city with the coordinators and other interns was definitely a highlight of my trip. Also, working in Seoul is such an amazing experience. I learned so much from just six weeks working as an intern that will help me during the rest of my career. If you are thinking about interning abroad, I would recommend Beyond Academy!

If you are an international student looking for an opportunity to visit and experience a foreign country then this might work for you. However, if you genuinely want a relevant and good quality internship that will help you further your career or study, then look elsewhere. My daughter got offered a bakery!! she wanted Textiles and Fashion. It is just an expensive way of seeing another city, working for free and getting lots of trips. They bullied my daughter into attending interviews that she wasn't interested in, then refused to refund her deposit because apparently working in a bakery is a placement. Then they pressured her into paying the material second payment of £2,000, when it was clear the placements were really poor quality.

Just be warned they will place you where they want to place you, not what works for you. Avoid!!

From the start, Beyond has been nothing but professional, efficient, helpful, and so much fun. For students who are looking to pursue an experience overseas, I would highly recommend taking an interest in Beyond. Beyond clearly cares about their students by setting up several weekly events to get connected with a community, and pairs you with an experience that is perfect.

I did an internship with Beyond Academy's Tokyo program, and it was one of the best decisions I made in my life. Everything from the coordinators to the events, to the internship itself exceeded my expectations. Tokyo is not an easy place to live, but Beyond makes it so you have a support team the whole time and makes the whole experience much smoother and more fun.

My internship experience with Beyond Academy was incredibly valuable, both professionally and personally. From the beginning, the program was well-structured and supportive, making the transition into a new work environment feel smooth and exciting rather than overwhelming.

Overall, I would highly recommend Beyond Academy to anyone looking to gain meaningful work experience while also growing personally. It’s a great balance of professional development, support, and adventure, and it has definitely been a defining experience in my journey so far.

My trip to Tokyo was a lot better going through Beyond! Instead of having to worry about my own accommodation or having to figure out problems I had when getting here, everything was made so much more simple because of the great communication I had with the coordinators! Not to mention the several opportunities you’ll have to make friends amongst all of the events that Beyond hosts, which were great because the coordinators really cared about our opinions and what events we would like! I never felt like I didn’t have anyone to lean back on because they were always there to help my with anything I needed.

I interviewed twice and then literally never heard back from them. They completely dropped me and never responded to me, even after their 2nd interview included a ton of research.

The entire interviewing process was made very easy! There was always support from beyond academy! In Tokyo the coordinators were amazing and super helpful and friendly! I absolutely recommend this experience!

Coming here for 3 months was an experience that I wasn't too sure what to expect. My overall experience was fantastic and loved 95% most of it. Of course, not everything or every single part is 100% positive, but there's really nothing negative I could say about my experience here in Seoul. The friends I made were really awesome, the coordinators were very sweet and understanding, and the colleagues at my internship became very to me like family. My only real negative experience here had nothing to do with the program or Seoul in general. I was just unlucky and had a tooth filling come out on my first day after arriving. But the experience of finding a dentist and getting it taken care of went very well too. If you're looking to take a leap and experience a new chapter in your life, take the leap. You likely won't regret it

I went to London for 6 and a half weeks. Everyone's easy to work with and friendly.

I absolutely loved my time with Beyond! I did a 3 month internship in Tokyo, and would highly recommend to anyone looking into studying abroad. I worked for a fashion technology company as a graphic designer/marketer, which is something I would never chosen for myself but I actually really enjoyed! I met so many amazing people during my time and definitely made some everlasting connections!

Overall I really enjoyed my experience as a graphic design intern. I felt supported in both the program and my internship company. There are event's beyond academy put out each month, really recommend trying to go to as many as you can, they help you stay connected to others and are fun.

I completed the Beyond Academy Immersive Internship Program in Seoul, where I did a fashion internship, and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. This experience has honestly been life-changing and has shaped me into such a new version of myself.

Beyond Academy helped me grow in ways I didn’t even realise I needed. My skills developed so much, but more than anything, my confidence grew massively. Living and working abroad pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible, and I now feel way more comfortable in my work, in new environments, and in myself overall. I’ve come away feeling inspired, motivated, and so much more sure of what I’m capable of.

One of my favourite parts of the program was the weekly events Beyond Academy organised. They were genuinely so fun and such a good way to explore Seoul, meet new people, and actually say yes to things I probably wouldn’t have done otherwise. They really helped push me out of my comfort zone, and we got to experience so many traditional Korean activities, which was honestly amazing and made the whole experience feel super immersive and special.

The support from the Beyond Academy team was incredible from start to finish. There was always someone there if you needed a chat, some advice, or support if something didn’t feel quite right. Everyone on the team is genuinely so kind, welcoming, and supportive — some of the loveliest people I’ve met — and it made such a difference knowing you were never doing this experience alone.

I’ve also made the most amazing friends from all over the world, friendships I know I’ll have for life. If you’re thinking about doing an internship abroad and want something that helps you grow professionally and personally while still being fun, exciting, and supportive, I couldn’t recommend Beyond Academy more. This experience has given me confidence, clarity, and memories I’ll cherish forever!
