Boots, Brent Cross Shopping Centre
Boots, Brent Cross, is a nightmare store! Tightly-packed and tall layout of shelves which resemble a maze and thus making it difficult to find items; very understaffed; and the staff who can be found are rude, unhelpful and obviously resent customers...Enter at your peril!
Boots Clifton Down - horrendous
Boots Clifton Down in Bristol...a horrible store filled with really unprofessional and unpleasant staff. So many poor reviews online and customers who feel dismissed, sad, and distressed.
I complained about it and I was accused of things which categorically didn't happen. I am disgusted. I do think one day Panorama or similar should investigate, and they probably will. It's awful the way they treat people and yet claim it's the other way around. Customers completely gaslit.
We all have stress in our jobs, but it's not an excuse to speak badly to people and then get your staff to gang up on a customer who is sick and needed a little assistance. If unhappy in your job, then quit and find something you actually enjoy rather than blaming customers for your lack of empathy and efficiency.
I have decided to never shop at Boots again (I will go to Superdrug instead) and I immediately switched Pharmacies. My GP told me to do this and he said that he had heard of very similar stories to mine from the Clifton Down store and they did not have a good reputation. Boots Pharmacy, do better! Hire staff that know how to speak to people and do their jobs.
As for your customer service team...what customer service? He added further upset and didn't take my complaint seriously at all, choosing to only believe the side of the inappropriate Pharmacist who swore and was unkind and unprofessional. I will be escalating this. I informed him of this and corrected some of the false things he accused me of despite not even being there...he couldn't care less. Good to know.

Unbelievably slow.
Boots Whetstone. 40 minutes from giving them my prescription to collecting it. There was 1 person in the queue in-front of me. Absolutely useless.
Boots Westcroft
Boots Westcroft - waiting queues are unbearably long with usually only one pharmacist assisting. I was in complete agony for 4 weeks from back and hip pain. When collecting my prescription I was told they were out of stock of pain killers - would take 48 hrs go get from dispensary. No empathy what so ever. No suggestions for alternative pain meds. All she said was she could give me the barcode and I could go to other branches and see if they had in stock. Never even bothered to ask if she could call ahead. Not friendly what so ever.
Flu jabs appointment error
I have been trying for a month now to book an appointment for a flu jab and the system keeps giving me an error message.
Bretton, Pharmacy Awful customer service
Bretton, Peterborough pharmacy services are the worse I have ever encountered.
My mum has a complex prescription and has had her medication delivered for years. They used to text to let us know when it was being delivered. Now they phone and don't leave a voicemail if I am unable to answer. I received a phonecall with no voicemail, so I popped in before going to babysit, waited 35 minutes in the queue. When I got called forward the tech was completely disinterested and didn't listen to my query of When will her meds be delivered. Instead she disappeared for 5 minutes came back with meds, so I said I couldn't take them and she gave me a dirty look and said "Well they are here now". Terrible customer service!!!!
Waited to see a pharmacist for around…
Waited to see a pharmacist for around 40 minutes, turns out I had been forgotten about and didn't even get what I needed.
Awful experience.
systems os sevice problems?
After receiving an e mail to book a follow on appointment ( 2nd vaccination of a course of 2), the system would not let me book and suggested I call. After waiting 15 minutes the agent said he could not help, as it had to be done online. No help was offered, just keep on trying. New e mail this morning with a link to something completely different. Tried to call again, no answering at all.
It seems Boots either don't care at all about their customers, or have massive system/staffing issues. Neither of which is encouraging.
I am now awaiting the second jab, but am checking if I can do elsewhere.
My complaint is with the Boots Corner…
My complaint is with the Boots Corner Pharmacy in Filey. I asked if they sold paper tissues. I got a very abrupt No and that was it. No help, no advise as to where I could get them. So rude. If the woman who served me had smiled, her face would've cracked. Avoid this shop!
Boots Dewsbury pharmacy.
Boots Dewsbury pharmacy.
Had numerous problems with prescriptions being out of stock. Waiting a long time from them receiving my script to dispensing it. Some staff have bad attitudes and not helpful. Personally with my experience, i Would not recommend.
Boots in Burnley...
Boots in Burnley.... I asked to see The Pharmacist - They were on a break (Fair enough). I wandered round the store and after quite a while I went back. I asked to see The Pharmacist. The lady that I spoke to told me that she was the Pharmacist and what could she help me with. I explained that I had a problem with my ears and explained in more detail what I was experiencing.
1. She didn't offer to take me to a private room
2. She didn't look into my ears
3. She just recommended olive oil drops.
She did show me the area of the store as to where they were - I had to ask another member of staff to help me find them, as I couldn't see them in the area that The Pharmacist had pointed me too.
I was under the impression that a Pharmacist would be able to prescribe something, if needed, for minor issues. (Maybe I am wrong about that). How would she know what may be wrong with my ears if she didn't even look inside them?
I went to Boots as I thought I would get a competent and professional service.
I left with 'off the shelf' eardrops - Who knows, there could have been a 9 inch nail in my ear, she wouldn't know, as she didn't look - Maybe they don't have the relevant tool or experience to examine ears - I don't know. I felt quite disappointed as I left the store.
Malvern boots pharmacy
Malvern boots pharmacy . I was served by Chloe who had a horrible curt manner . She insisted I found my NHS number. Once I found it on the app she couldn’t find my prescription but instead took the code my GP had given me which I offered 3 times before . Then Boots didn’t stock the cream in the right size. Customers - do yourself a favour and go to Morrison’s Chemist who were lovely accommodating people .

BOOTS BURY ROAD BRANDON
We arrived at 8.55am to the inevitable queue outside. By 9am the locum pharmacist was knocking on the front door for the staff to open up.
Therefore there was already a twenty minute queue to get to the counter.
When my husband eventually reached a member of staff he was given his pills but was told that mine could be an hour or so. This is despite them having my prescription since the previous Thursday.
So we sat to wait, we had no choice mine is a weekly prescription and we need the repeat back to put into the GP surgery to start this whole sorry rigmarole all over again.
In the meantime I noticed that an item had been missed from my husband's repeat...and called the pharmacist over. I said that this was not on, having to wait 45mins (so far) for our prescriptions and when we do get one it's wrong.
She rather churlishly said there was no need for my tone as she was on her own. She then found the missing item and apologised. So we returned to the chairs to wait for mine. By this time the branch looked like it was hosting a grumpy Christmas Party. So many people!
After 1hour and 10 minutes I received my medication, by this time almost delirious with joy!
All I can say is bring back an independent pharmacist to Brandon.
HOW ARE THEY GOING TO COPE WITH PHARMACY FIRST??
Excellent service
Recently I had very painful conjunctivitis and it was no problem for the Dunfermline pharmacist to help me and also could access my GPS files to see if she has signed my recent prescription. They are very professional and sympathetic at this pharmacy.
Boots Pharmacy Bridgwater
Ordered my prescription in August in plenty of time for my holiday in September. Prescription approved by my GP 31.08.26. Popped in to Boots today 08.09.26 to see whats happened to it to be told by an arrogant little man in a polo shirt, not a chemist, that I hadnt informed them I was going on holiday so my prescription wasnt done. Can not believe I have to tell a jumped up little squirt when I go on Holiday. Prescription took back and I will now use a proper chemist from now on.
Walkden shop Ellesmere centre.
This is an excellent shop. Always busy when I go in.
The staff are always friendly but just not enough of them around the shop to help so I end up having to wait at the pharmacy bit for help .
Shop is looking great lately , very tidy and clean. I can usually get what I need here. I love shopping here:) .
Minus-5* Online Experiences…..
.
One star because I couldn’t proceed if I didn’t.
Really should be minus-5*s.
This refers to their online ordering services - although I doubt anyone from Boot reads these reviews or even cares a toss. What a collection or terrible reviews though. They should be ashamed as was once a brilliant company.
I only buy their own make Lipsalve as I think it is superior to others on offer. It is all I buy, as everything else I might be interested in - named brands - is cheaper from Amazon and they bring it to your door. I usually buy a dozen a few times a year and just absorb the cost of the p&p as part of the order price.
EVERY TIME there’s a problem online.
EVERY TIME.
It is never a simple transaction as is ordering with Amazon or M&S or Cook.
I’ve tried to order each day for over a week. Card details given and order accepted. A few minutes later I get an email to say that they cannot supply me.
Know not why. The funds are in the Bank (it only about £12 anyway!)
If they are out of stock why is the item on the website and why do they ask for my Address and Bank details? And appear to accept them?.
EVERY TIME. Terrible. And reading the reviews here it seems that the instore experiences aren’t so great either.
But what can one expect from a company whose drop-down address menu still cites Bristol as being in the County of Avon - which was disbanded over 30-years ago!! And you can’t change it!
A shame in a way that I don’t prefer someone like Nivea’s lipsalve and then I could get it from Amazon!
