Boots Ludlow
Boots Ludlow, rude and extremely unhelpful. Staff member sitting at a counter customer facing and form filling. Looked up when I approached for assistance, was told don't offer the service I requested in very short shrift, repeated herself every time I tried to speak. Don't waste your time here, there's a lovely independent pharmacy around the corner where they dealt with my request completely and curteously.

Visited Boots Carlisle to collect a prescription. Was told they were busy and asked if we could come back in an hour. Returned over an hour later and queued for a second time only to be greeted by the member of staff saying to a colleague"Here's another one!!" with a grin to her colleague. We were then told that it required being signed off by the pharmacist who had just gone on her lunch break (at 3 o'clock) and could we come back in an hour!!!
As a couple of disabled pensioners, we were unable to waste any more time, retrieved our prescription and went to Dalstons chemists round the corner where we got our prescription inside 10 minutes.
Totally disgusting and unprofessional service. Will never use this chemists again. Boots should hold their head in shame but I guess they just don't care.
Bad experience at boots Ilkley
Employees are constantly watching you even if the store is busy, it’s is hard to chose products when they looking at you like you are about to steel
Prescription query
We have been using the pharmacy for last 6 years but have noticed the quality of service deteriorating recently. They keep on changing the brand of my medication and are not customer friendly when you question them.
Boots Pharmacy East Grinstead bloody joke
Boots Pharmacy East Grinstead
An absolute joke, GP request I got my blood pressure done there as work full time. Went lunch time was busy and asked to come back end of the day.
Went back and after waiting 15 mins in queue then finally seen too was asked if inwas on blood pressure tablets.. no
Are you over 40 .... yes.
Come back tomorrow as we need to catch up on the prescription to be put away for tomorrow.
I needed pressure done for GP to release my prescription.
I was told we provide a service but doesn't take priority even though I queued like everyone else.
They are rude & unhelpful
The only pharmacasist that is good there is Karen.
I given 1 star and that cos I have to give something.
This is a regular thing that the pharmacy side cannot be arsed to do anything apart from chatting about their private life or what coffee they like and leave the queue just getting longer.
This is only done when Karen isn't there.

I've been going to Boots in West Street, Bourne, Lincs for my medication for about 6 months and every time I've gone the staff are polite and friendly. I've never had to wait long and all my tablets are there, no problems. The service is always very good. I'm glad I switched.

The chemist was very helpful, respectful and a pleasure to deal with.
Her customer service was exemplary which is not the case in a vast number of other organisations.

This will put me off using the service in future

I went to boots exebridges in Exeter today to get advice on a wasp sting.there was NO ONE on the counter, 2 ladies behind the prescriptions counter and a young girl serving people on the same counter,
There was about 8 people in the queue,so I stood at the side hoping one of the ladies behind the counter would help me.the young girl serving told me to get in the queue.so I walked out, I use this store a lot,and have worked in boots ,high st Exeter and Taunton, and enjoyed it. I could say it was disgustingly service, but it was no
Service, appalling. I won’t be going in there again.

Nasty person working on pharmacy in Retford store
My husband went to get me some cream from the Retford pharmacy, there is a barrier which told him he could not go beyond this, but he could just reach the cream from the side, this assistant said in no uncertain terms you cannot help yourself in a nasty manner,It was not what she said it was her manner talking to him like he is a criminal, a nasty woman, my husband have been in retail for many years and you do not speak to potential customers in this manner.
Really poor service, disorganised, useless
I changed pharmacy to Boots because my old pharmacy kept running out of stock and not informing me, so my repeat prescriptions would be marked issued by the GP and I could not order another one, but on the pharmacy end they would get the repeat and dispense what was available by delivery, but if they were out of stock they would not inform me, they would contact their supplier tell them they needed more stock and that was the end of it job done.
I tried phoning them and the pharmacist gave me the rant about how he works long hours and extra overtime, but at the end of it as far as he was concerned, job done, he had contacted his supplier and that was all he had to do. Never mind if I ran out of medication, like insulin or needles or other medication, he had done his job by contacting the supplier.
So I switched to Boots, thought being a bigger chain they would have better supply lines and be more organised. I was wrong, hopelessly wrong.
It took 5 days to get a prescription from the GP to Boots and then 7 days for Boots to start processing the order. First I would get an email to say they had received my repeat, then 7 days later I would get another email to say they were out of stock and I could get it somewhere else. They didn't keep the order on their system, so you could not see what had passed or what had failed and you needed to go somewhere else. It became a confused mess.
The GP was under the impression that the repeat had been issued, so wait a month before you can get a new prescription. Boots send you a barcode to your phone which you can present at a different pharmacy, only you have to physically go in, but the whole purpose of using Boots is because they deliver.
Utterly useless, a new level of bungling incompetent I have never seen such poor service.
So I changed back to my old pharmacy, at least they deliver when they have stock, not so the confused muddle that is Boots.
Even after changing back to my old pharmacy I have started getting emails from Boots telling me that I need to re-order.
To date Boots have never even completed one order.
What an absolute Clownfest
What an absolute Clownfest. For God's sake, if you have a choice, avoid Boots Prescription Plus at all costs. I'm surprised they haven't been prosecuted for professional neglect or for utter blase indifference with peoples personal details. Your data protection does not exist for them.
Poor service
The Hedon branch received my prescription on 31st of July. I called them this morning on 5th August to find out if it was ready. They said it was, yet when I called into the branch it was not prepared for me to collect. I was told to go back after 2pm. I have previously been advised to allow 3 days.
Poor Service
Trying to get assistance regarding a missing item in my order is like pulling teeth!! Keeps referring me back to AI which is no use what so ever. Very poor service.
Don't expect any help from Pharmacy
I am fed up with Boots chemist not being able to order and supply some of my medication, They have a 100% 'Computer says No' attitude. Staff are often over worked or in short supply and Boots Lancaster offers a very poor service. I feel sorry for the staff as there is no way I as a customer give them a 5 star review where their back up is providing the 1 star I feel they deserve. I will write to their CEO and will feed back any information as a new review.
Boots Bedford is really bad

You can never get through on the phone, which is very annoying do it costs me a few trips up and down before something is sorted. This is really a promlem, looking at changing chemist now.

Paid for the prescription delivery service for my elderly parents and prescriptions were never delivered despite complaining and being reassured that they would do better. This went on for 4 months before we changed pharmacy. Boots Pharmacy in Vine Health Centre, Street, Somerset.
