Sparrow terrace, well made, bonus slide out bases for cleaning

I ordered an obelisk to grow a rose in. It was just the height I was looking for. It is well-made and easy to put together (a bit harder just on your own because the pieces slide about a bit!). The instructions are simple to follow. The delivery was timely.

Dreadful quality product and unaccommodating, defensive customer service.

You can probably tell a lot about a company by the way they respond to negative reviews. It’s clearly Buttercup Farm’s strategy to try and blame the customer for doing something wrong and dodge any responsibilities the company has in purveying sub-standard products.

I bought some lawn edging in September 24 from them which I didn’t open over the winter because of bad weather - I stored it in its packaging in my dry garage. On opening now, I realise what a dreadfully flimsy product it is. Cheap plywood held together with staples - basically it disintegrated when I tried to hammer it into the ground. I contacted Buttercup Farm to express my dissatisfaction and wondering about a warranty. Their only response was that they wouldn’t deal with the complaint because it was outside their 2 week window. There was no acknowledgement of their responsibility in selling a substandard, inadequate product that wasn’t fit for purpose. If the product itself is such poor quality, it should be immaterial when it’s reported back to the seller, certainly within the first 12 months after purchase.

Unfortunately, the lawn edging remains for sale on their website, which indicates how much notice they have taken of my complaint.

Ordered a duck platform, it was delivered ok. Then ordered an anchor which is an optional extra for the platform. The website allowed me to order and pay for the anchor as a separate transaction. A few days later the company contact me asking for £7.50 delivery cost for the anchor. I refused to pay it as 1) there was no delivery costs stated at the time of purchasing the anchor and 2) it clearly stated on the product page it was free delivery. I now understand free delivery applies when you purchase both the platform and anchor at the same time. Website does NOT clearly explain this and it allowed me to purchase the anchor separately with no delivery charge. After pointing this out to them along with significant usability issues on their website I invited them to show some customer service goodwill and send me the anchor while they absorb the delivery cost. They refused and gave me a refund for the anchor, I found them very arrogant and not prepared to address issues on their site that allowed this to happen. I see from other reviews this has happened before. I will never order from them again, they have no goodwill when they get it wrong, very arrogant company to deal with. Be aware of them, taking your order, hiding delivery costs and then pursuing you.

Requested a customised design and the hen shed arrived with the exact details as requested. Hen boxes on one side only. Personal delivery, friendly service and high quality goods. James was very helpful . The pre marked parts made building it a lot easier and we are very satisfied. Thank you.

Good product, good price, arrived quickly, fully assembled, looks great and comfy to sit on.

Very good product with very quick delivery

Delivery was prompt, within period shown on website. I had one query which was dealt with quickly and satisfactorily online. The Beatrice Arbour exceeded our expectations. Assembly was easy with clear instructions. Great value for money; heavy, sturdy and well constructed.
Delivery is not easy to our property. We were kept informed re the delivery and to our surprise the delivery men ( Palletforce) managed to negotiate our narrow unmade track and restricted turning area and deposited the arbour exactly where we wanted it and managed to smile and be very friendly despite the difficulties!
We wouldn’t hesitate to order from Buttercup Farm again and would recommend to friends. Thanks to all for a first class service.

I ordered a Dovecote £600+ and a duck house £1200+ and both items were poor!
the dovecote had nails sticking out in every house. the duck house was damaged and they offer me a £25.00 voucher. ha ha i wouldn't recommend this company to anyone - STAY CLEAR.

The item we ordered was delivered on time and is sturdy enough enough unfortunately it had a few optional extras that the company will only ship with the main purchase. When it turned out we did not need the extras the company refused to let us give them back as it had now fallen out of the 28 day window. Extremely disappointed with the level of service and would not use again for this reason, very inflexible regarding policy.

Products arrived from on time and were exactly what I needed.
I’ve got the same product before so can’t complain and would happily got back for more.

Item arrived on time and was as described.
Unfortunately there were no assembly instructions but it wasn't difficult to put together. We were however missing one long bolt which was needed to assemble the top bar, but it was easy to find a replacement.
It's a great addition to the garden and will look even better when the roses grow! We liked it so much we're going to order another!

I have ordered a chicken run made to specifications. Communication throughout had been fantastic and I am very happy with a sturdy well made run with a proper roof that will last for years to come. It also looks really lovely in the garden and not harsh like omlet chicken runs. I also thought the cost was reasonable
