I’ve been using Cards2Cash for a couple of months now, mainly for buying gift cards when I’m out shopping or making purchases online, and I can honestly say it has become one of my go-to platforms. At first, I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually use it, but over time I’ve found myself checking it almost every time I’m about to make a purchase, simply because of the savings and convenience it offers.

What I like most is the range of gift cards available. Whether it’s for supermarkets, clothing stores, restaurants, or online retailers, there always seems to be something that fits what I’m looking for. It means I don’t have to pay full price, which adds up to quite a bit of saving over time. For example, I’ve used it when doing my weekly food shopping and also when buying clothes online, and in both cases, I’ve saved money I wouldn’t have otherwise.

The process itself is really straightforward. Browsing the site is quick, and purchasing a card only takes a couple of minutes. The gift cards are delivered quickly, too – in my experience, they usually arrive by email in just a short time after ordering.

I’ve also been impressed with how smooth the whole transaction process is. Everything feels secure, and I’ve never had a problem with codes not working or balances being off.

The customer service is brilliant. On one occasion I had a quick question, and the response was both friendly and helpful, which made me feel like the company really cares about its customers.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that the discounts, while they vary, are always worthwhile. Even a small percentage off makes a difference over time, especially if you shop regularly at the same places. For bigger purchases, like electronics, it’s an even bigger win, as you can save a noticeable chunk of money instantly.

What surprised me most is how much it’s changed the way I think about shopping. Instead of just going straight to a shop or website and paying the listed price, I now make it a habit to check Cards2Cash first. It’s become part of my routine, and I’ve already recommended it to friends and family because it feels like such an easy way to save without any extra effort.

Overall, my experience so far has been excellent. Cards2Cash is reliable, convenient, and genuinely helps save money in a way that fits seamlessly into everyday life. After using it for a couple of months, I can honestly say I see it as more than just a “nice extra” - it’s become a smart habit that makes a real difference to my spending. I’ll definitely keep using it in the future and would recommend it to anyone who wants to make their money go a bit further.

Disclosure; following a change in stance of the company the gift card related to I needed to withdraw my gift card from Cards2Cash. This was NOT any fault of Cards2Cash, however the following review encompasses aspects whereby I feel they could improve the selling experience for their sellers, because without them, they have no business!

Before I make my recommendations and for readers not wishing to read further please ASSUME THAT YOU WILL NOT BE PAID FOR THE SALE OF YOUR GIFT CARD FOR AT LEAST 14 DAYS. And this leads me naturally to my first recommendation to Cards2Cash:

1. As part of your buyers being privy to discounted gift cards obligating them to inform you when they have spent the card should form a part of their buyer contract with Cards2Cash. To enforce this, for example, it should be explicitly stated at the point of sale that the buyer is responsible for notifying you (Cards2Cash) within 72 hours of spending the gift card, and failure to do so results in either a mark/strike against their buyer account and/or a penalty fee. Without this type of contractual obligation the buyer is under no such obligation resulting in unfairly delayed payment to the seller. Currently the buyer (the majority as per Cards2Cash admission) is happy to benefit from a discounted gift card but cannot be bothered to click a button to inform Cards2Cash that they have spent it, the constant loser here being the seller. Cards2Cash, you really need to bother yourselves with supporting the seller in this respect given that your business model is fragile due to its reliance on sellers.

2. More transparency when your gift card has been sold. At present you do not notify the seller or disclose a date of sale, but do update the status under the sellers order(s) account. From a seller perspective this does not represent full transparency as is expected from any financial institution. It could also be argued to lean towards Cards2Cash further delaying of the issuing of payment beyond the 14-days (post sale). If this is not the case then why is the date of sale not revealed on the sellers account; their is no legitimate reason for this and the seller IS in a position to reasonably expect this type of information.

Buyers are important to your business but you seem to have forgotten about the sellers which represent the core of the business.

I would recommend this service to friends and family (from a seller perspective) but with the caveat of being prepared, and in most cases expecting by default to wait the full 14-days post sale prior to payment from Cards2Cash. And, depending on the individual, this could have a strong bearing on their decision to sell with Cards2Cash.

Finally, please take this constructive criticism positively and not as an opportunity to deny some helpful recommendations to improve your business.

Purchased £180 Amazon gift cards as 3 individual (£100, £50, £30). I paid 174ish or 3% discount.

They use a reputable third party payment handler which is good.

Instantly received redemption codes. All codes redeemed and used without problem within 10 minutes of payment.

I had no problem so cannot comment on customer service.

But satisfied as a buyer.

My only negative is the website design and logo totally makes it look fishy. I was very skeptical at first. But as no problem felt the need to write a rare review for me.

Great customer service, when things don't go to plan as a buyer and your purchase is compromised, you can rest assured that the 14 day guarantee will protect you. I have had two separate rare occasions where the balance on the gift card as been spent by a third party and I have been reimbursed in full. Highly recommended!

I purchased a £250 Amazon gift card from Cards2Cash, only to find out it was locked and unusable. When I reached out for a refund, I was told an "investigation" would be launched. Six days later, the seller finally unlocked the card—long after I had already placed my Amazon order. So at that point, I no longer needed the card.

Rather than accepting responsibility for listing a non-functioning card, Cards2Cash refused to issue a refund. Instead, they offered a so-called "goodwill gesture" of allowing me to relist the card on their website—meaning I'd have to wait for a potential sale to maybe get my money back.

Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. No apology, no accountability, just a shrug and a slow process that puts all the risk on the buyer, despite the fact they don't actually pay the seller for 2 weeks.

Also this is not even the first time I had an issue with a gift card on their site. Luckily I noticed this within the first 14 days and at that time I was issued a refund, so I continued to use the site.

Cards2cash will not investigate any issue reported after 14 days. This timeframe is extremely short considering the they do not vet the gift card/sellers thoroughly. They continuously list used or invalid cards as posted by other reviewrs and on reddit. The seller can use the balance of the gift card anytime and after 14 days you have no recourse. Even within 14 days you are at the mercy of cards2cash if they are willing to give you a refund or a replacement. This is also insulting considering they give themselves 3 weeks to investigate any issue. In comparison cardyard gives buyers 42 days to report an issue.

Be warned: If the card you buy doesn’t work, they can keep your money for 3 weeks, drag out their investigation, and still avoid giving you a refund stating 'We have followed our processes very closely in this situation.'

This entire experience was deeply frustrating and unprofessional. I won't be using Cards2Cash again—and I suggest others think twice before trusting them with their money.

As you can see from their reply, they have confirmed these are their terms and conditions. The card was unlocked and usable 6 days later, not an instant delivery which is also in their terms and conditions.

They also flagged my review to trustpilot to be taken down, despite this being a genuine experience which they are aware of and I have all evidence of same. Luckily trustpilot confirmed this and they reposted the review.

My five stars go to Conner (customer service), who listened, understood, and resolved an issue I had with two cards.

The website is a tad tricky to navigate and use, really needs a bit of a revamp but in terms of being able to reliably get vouchers at reduced cost you cannot go wrong here. Customer support is good and the process to pay by bank transfer and save even more is great too. I have both bought and sold using the site - when I sold it took a while but eventually went and payment was quick. For buying I love how you can buy Amazon vouchers and use them straight away, money off for very little effort.

What a great service! I had no idea it existing until I found them online. I listed a gift card I knew I'd never use and very quickly afterwards I was offered a decent price for it. The money was paid within a fortnight.
