I've had a consistently excellent customer services experience with Carfd2Cash. You can make significant savings using gift cards for purchases. C2C offer the best rates (to my knowledge), but you have to be quick to get the cards when they are advertised (via email).

It would be helpful if you could determine the card expiries, however it's quite rare to have short dated cards.

All the eGift rewards I earned (from Surveys) and routed though your website for clearance and payment, was not paid me. You sited that my ID was fraud. An ID I am presently using to earn from other sites.
I felt robbed. My rewards are my rewards and I should be given my rewards.
This is fraudulent on your part.

Gave a gift card to them on 13th Feb, they sold it next day and I received the money in my bank on 1st Mar as noted before confirming the sale. Will use again if I need to!

Outstanding company with top notch customer service. I've only ever purchased gift cards from them, rather than selling any so cannot comment on that but the buying process is brilliant. Codes arrive within about a minute of purchase and I've now saved over a thousand pounds since discovering them. Fab!

Really good site that actually works, I have now traded twice with them, a smaller value and larger value gift card and have been paid successfully with no problems. Would recommend to all, the only annoying thing is the quarantine period is so long so perhaps they could push to members that they should disclose when they used the gift card.

Very good site. I sold my £300 gift card with Cards2Cash and was sceptical about doing so, however the process went very smoothly.
My card was approved by their team within an hour of selling it, and then was sold a couple of mins after the approval email came through. I have been using the site for over a year now, and have sold over 15 gift cards with them. I have also been using them to purchase gift cards and make savings. Since opening my account, I have saved over £600 pounds, and I have never had an issue with any of the cards I have purchased.

I was pretty dubious buying gift cards online and to be completely honest the website looks pretty basic. However, I purchased some gift cards yesterday for 11% discount and opted to pay by bank transfer for a further 3% discount. I was relieved and also impressed to see the value appeared in my online account within a minute or so, checked out successfully and redeemed both codes on the retailer site. I bought another one today, same process and slick as yesterday. I’d recommend, it’s a good idea and I hope the business grows so that the selection improves. Not all the discounts are this high, I think there’s room to improve on other retailers but appreciate the additional discount for bank transfer. This does mean no credit card protection so I’m a little concerned if the gift card didn’t work.

It is a sad fact that no matter who you buy discounted gift cards from on secondary retail sites, eventually you will receive a card which is subject to some kind of fraud or complications that require customer services intervention. Accordingly, a week ago, I received a Sainsbury’s card from Cards2Cash which though it had the correct credit initially, was already registered elsewhere. This was not a good sign and so it turned out to be when, just 2 days later, the balance was suddenly zero, with only £3.50 of the drop in value attributable to me.

As a result of these events, my interaction with C2C’s customer service and owner, Caleb Slater, threw up a whole load of minor matters I was unhappy with, and Cards2Cash and I parted company.

My feeling is that if C2C had taken swift and decisive action when I alerted them just minutes after receiving the card and finding out it was pre-registered, the subsequent fraud may have been discouraged. Their failure to be clear about turnaround times for a substantive response to the issue caused me to spend far more time chasing them than should have been the case. However, my biggest gripe was that when, eventually, they refunded me, they calculated my loss on the basis of an imputed purchase price rather than the value of the card I had bought. This approach means that if you bought a £100 gift card for £95 and it arrived with £0 value, they would refund £95 rather than the £100 value they had contracted to provide, meaning they have not compensated you for the loss of value, only the lesser cost, which is two different things. Opinions may differ whether this practice is fair but it certainly isn’t generous and I would point out not only that other gift card resellers refund the value but also that if the purchase value had been, say, £1000, a differential of £50 could represent a significant loss of opportunity to save money, perhaps during sales or Black Friday events.

C2C were very quick to fall back on their rambling and contradictory T’s &C’s but seemed to be unaware that their own terms gave them the choice to refund the lost value OR the resale card cost. The fact that they chose to do the thing that potentially favoured their interests is something I felt needed to be called out. Also, it was clear that their grasp on the underlying contractual framework within which their business operates was flawed when, quite erroneously, the owner likened their business to a ‘marketplace’, failing to appreciate that no peer-to-peer or contractual relationship exists between the buyer of the card and its original owner.

To their credit, C2C volunteered a £5 ex gratia payment to compensate for their sluggish customer service but because of the diminished value of the refund and the near 2 hours I spent interacting with them over chat and email, it failed to win back my goodwill.

I don’t doubt that Cards2Cash, despite being run by a very young and small team, is trying to operate this business professionally and, in fact, a previous interaction regarding short expiry dates was addressed in an exemplary way. It just happens that on this occasion, there was no common ground on a wide range of matters of principle. Hopefully, there are useful lessons that flow from this regrettable experience.

Great service. It took about 5 months for my Spotify card to sell so i am deducting a point for that. but payment was swift as soon as the card sold.
