The guy assigned to my loan had the worst communication and the worst attitude. Didn’t respond to emails or phone calls . There was another woman on the loan team that did everything for me and she deserves all the credit . The guy who was assigned to my loan owes her everything . She did his job.

I applied because this company was advertised through SoFi, a bank I trusted, for auto refinancing. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
The application process presented refinancing options that made it appear worthwhile to proceed. After I submitted the application, a hard credit inquiry was performed, which can affect your credit score. Only afterward was I told that their lender would not approve the refinance.
My biggest concern is that consumers may go into this process believing the options shown on the screen are realistic offers, only to end up with a hard inquiry and no approved loan.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company ask whether you are actually pre-approved, which lender has approved the terms, and whether a hard credit pull will be performed BEFORE submitting the final application.
I expected much better transparency, especially from a company promoted through SoFi. Based on my experience, I felt that obtaining the application was prioritized over protecting the customer’s credit and providing clear information upfront.
Consumers deserve transparency before a hard inquiry is placed on their credit report—not surprises afterward.

Brutal process
Brutal process. I got about 50 texts 20 emails with different links and a very disconnected process. I was asked for information numerous times by different people. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Also, the offer expired while I was on vacation after they asked for additional information for a very basic refinance. Not recommended!

Bait and switch tactics
Gave me rates, payment terms and payment amount to let me choose after getting my info, then proceeded to put a hard inquiry on my credit and then say the first bank declined the application so they want to send to more banks. Why give payment terms, rates and amounts before an approval?
