Carpets To Your Door Bewertungen 

I should first explain that I work for carpetstoyourdoor 1 day a week at their Seaham stand. I wanted to experience what a customer should expect so booked myself a timed appointment with a free quote as I needed new vinyl for my bathroom. Maurice duly arrived, on time and measured my bathroom. I had actually chosen the vinyl which made things easier but I'm absolutely delighted. A lot of you might think you expected me to say that but anyone who knows me knows that I am very honest and direct.

This review is ongoing and I will update the experience!
I am living in hope that things will now improve now that I have written to the company laying out the facts .
My Mother is 84 yrs old with a registered disability and profound hearing loss ( Mrs C Dyson) she thought it a good idea to get “carpets to your door” given her obvious limitations!
A lounge carpet and Hall/Kitchen flooring were ordered with their “Platinum Service” option in the expectation of great service?
These items were not standard and the cost exceeded the average!
The carpet had a fault in the pattern with a colour difference running the whole room explained as a pile needing to settle?
The Hall and Kitchen flooring is lifting and floating with a rip in part of it!
In fairness the manager Richard did attend my mothers house to inspect and agreed it was substandard and needed replacement!
Great!
But this to date has not happened and it was fitted in September , since then the company has agreed to replace and I now have a date to do this ! Again great!
But ! They dispute the Hall and Kitchen ???
Don’t know why and I have sent a letter to challenge their decision and refusal of my mothers consumer rights!
I am now awaiting their response to this and can only hope that the company play fair and agree with their own manager to replace all damaged goods ?
We will wait and see and hopefully amend this post to a better experience
Update!
All my expectations were met the company did all they could to resolve the situation and more !

My nana who is 88 years old had arranged a home visit with samples and everything was okay until a police officer knocked on her door and told her the lady at the stall had put in a random email as my nana never had one due to her age and the email was linked to a massive fraud crime down south. Being 88 and not fully understanding, this caused huge upset and a false email should have never been used to fill in the gap when she explained she didn’t have one. As she had already paid the deposit for the flooring and fitting, they arrived and told her they had to charge her an extra £30 to pull up the flooring below which is fair enough but this should have been explained on valuation and it would have been done before hand, especially as it was for a tiny bathroom floor. The flooring wasn’t sealed which we’ve been told doesn’t happen anymore, a bit annoying as it’s in a bathroom but for the price, I would suggest going elsewhere as the fitting isn’t the greatest either.

*Edited. I have received £100 refund which is better than nothing but I paid over £1700 for this so my advice is just be wary of these fitters*
I had some very overpriced vinyl fitted in my shop. Stupidly I was sucked in by the friendly sales man. Who by the way is not a carpet fitter a measured the room wrong. Making it a harder job for the fitters.
I had just repainted the entire room so it was all ready for the flooring to go in and they have ruined almost every wall.
The skirting boards are the worst. I’d expect one or two accidental scuffs but there is a deep line around the entire length of the room where they have ran the blade across. I assume when cutting the vinyl to size. No care at all has been taken. I could have done better myself.
I’ve spent 6 weeks getting my shop ready to open next week and now I’ve got another whole day of painting to do to fix their mess. They’ve also sprayed the adhesive all over the skirting boards which just shows they were rushing the job. I will be contacting them for some compensation but I’m not hopeful.

Dale & conor arrived to fit my carpets they were very polite & help full also very professional excellent service from the two of them
