Car tracker is so bad i canceled my contract paid them 3k and they still take money off my account a month after paying them and canceling my account.. I wouldn't recommend them to any one and there devices drain your battery to a point where you can not even start your car..

I contacted them to close my account, and I waited 30minutes on the call, being transfer from one department to the other and no one could transfer me to the right department and my airtime ran-out and the call ended.
The next day I tried to contact them via their website, by filling in you details and the subject. The called me during my work ours and I requested them to call me back after work (4pm) as I am busy during working hours, they continued calling during my work ours the rest of the week.
Their customer care is not good.

Had 2 units installed in my fortuner and hilux. Immediately both cars started givimg problems with the battery. Had a technician come back and work on both cars. Again same problems. Bought new batteries for both cars, same problem. Master technician Martin came out to look at it, at this point my car was completely stripped. My radio was disconnected. Still no luck with fixing the units. Would not recommend them to anyone. They have cost me thousands of Rands of damage due to their incompetence. And now im having a hard time to cancel my contract with them. I regret ever phoning them

Hi there i was behind with my car tracker so i paid the full amount then one of the customer service call me to say i didnt pay and i sent proof to her and we fight and i told her i did oay not long they ohone me again and then they say yes i did pay but i cant use the app so i ask them wot if my car get stollen they say they gonna activate my car trecking app am still waiting they dont even call me back and they told me that they r gonna call me i want to cancel their service its realy bad i wont recoment them to anybody i regred usibg them they dont now wot they r doing

I experienced the worst customer care from Cartrack. I installed a tracker in my vehicle Oct 2023, and ever since I have not had any positive experience with the customer consultants or the app. The issues ranged from my vehicle data being very inaccurate on the app, not being able to login (several times), not being able to download logbooks. The customer consultants and rude and not helpful. I've spent more than 60 minutes on 1 call with cartrack, without any joy. I am super disappointed and will be cancelling my contract.

Bad service, no response - the only time you hear from them is when they want to debit your account. They’ve been trying to debit me for a car that has been sold, they were notified and no due diligence was done.

This must be one of the worst customer service experiences i have ever experienced!
After many attempts to get them, to install the tracker in my car they still have not pitched. The only thing they can do right is take your money!
The installation costs have been deducted from my account more than 2 weeks ago,but still no tracker in my car. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company!

I would like to voice my displeasure and inform you about why I will not be purchasing any Cartrack products in the future.
I bought a demo vehicle from Toyota, which has Cartrack Quick Gold installed, which just needs to be activated. I requested a call today for a quote and options - I was then told I would be transferred to customer care as a unit is already installed. After explaining the situation to the representative, I was told I would be transferred to another department, I was on hold for a few minutes, then the call got cut.
I then filled in the contact from on the website, explaining the situation. I received a call back a few minutes later. However, I had to explain the whole situation to them again (they didn't read my contact form). After a whole process, including reading out my vehicle VIN number, I was told I needed to be transferred to another department who could help me. After waiting a few minutes another representative from customer care answered. He had no idea why I was on the line, and again, I had to explain the whole situation to him. After a few minutes of explaining, he also told me he has to transfer me to another department!!! This time I was on hold for a few minutes. Then a lady from the finance department answered and again I had to explain the whole situation to her, she told me that she needs to transfer me to customer care, as they can help me. At this time I had enough, I told her that if this is the process I had to go through just to buy a Cartrack product, I do not want to know how frustrating it would be to actually fill in a claim. Thus I definitely do not want to buy a Cartrack product.
If your call centre is unable to even direct me to the correct department, how on earth could such a company be expected to recover a stolen car. I am highly disappointed and will be posting this email as a review on every site, to warn potential future customers.
