Booked a taxi and after waiting for 30 mins. App gives me the licence plate. See the cab with the same plate pull up and immediately drives off. Follow it down the cowgate and it does it again. Phone central and they claim I'd canceled it (despite the fact I'd just waiting 30 mins for it who is canceling a taxi as soon as it shows up). Away and don't talk nonsense. Avoid

Booked a taxi in advance for a 15 minute journey in Central Edinburgh 8 hours in advance. I allowed 40 minutes because I knew the weather would be wet and there could be some delay. Phoned 5 minutes after it should have arrived. Automated message said taxi would be arriving shortly. Phoned again 5 minutes later and waited to speak to an operator who said no taxi allocated as they were very busy and no taxi in my area. No idea when one would be available. Very sorry - should she cancel? Concerts don't wait for latecomers so had no option but to take my car and paid over £30 to park in City Centre.
What is the point in taking prebookings if you can't guarantee a cab. I will not be using that company again.

Taxi driver (car 36, id 4210) did an emergency stop and yelled at my 74 year old mother to "get the f*@k out of my taxi!" This was after she pointed out he was going the wrong way.

She arrived at mine visibly upset and shaking and crying (she has a heart condition and needs a stick to walk with).

After calming down to the point I could speak coherently, I rang and was put throught to Craig (manager and owner apparently). Took note of my concerns and said to ring him Monday for an update after he'd spoken to the driver at fault.

Craig has dodged all my calls since, he's either just gone on a break or call back in an hour. Managed to get put through once and was immediately cut off.

Shoddy and unprofessional outfit from the ground up. I hate to think how they conduct themselves if that's how they treat elderly customers.

Always trusted reliable service, I have used them for years both for my professional and personal life, with all my work colleges never have had an issue and driver's are so reliable and helpful,
Most recently my nephew dropped his phone, driver was a G in helping us get it back to him, big shout out and thanks to Kenny much appreciated as phone was full of precious memory's that were irreplaceable

Nonce lovers

Don't book a taxi from this company as they have a convicted nonce working for them and when outed they change the company name. Keeps your kids safe avoid at all costs

Absolutely the worst taxi firm EVER

Central for me. Absolute RUBBISH, they never get things right and their Customer Services is non existent. Your cab drivers do not know their way around Nottingham they only want to bump up fares to the customer. Because how can a fare that normally cost btw £8-£9 end up costing £12 and would have been £15 by the time the passenger reached their destination. But made the decision to get out the taxi and walk the rest of the journey because the driver claimed he knew where he was going. But he clearly had no knowledge of Nottingham routes at all I am even MORE APPAULED by the fact that the passenger who has autistic challenges was spoken to rudely and as if they did not know their way around. I requested a Manager and was told someone would contact me. 3 days later and I've heard nothing at all which is typical of Central.

So central take Note. I WILL NEVER BOOK ONE OF YOUR TAXIS EVER AGAIN. I'D RATHER GIVE MY MONEY TO UBER because as a company. You still haven't got your act together. Which is why I cannot and will not rate you any more than 1* overall. I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. But your company and staff are clearly not educated enough you are all only about the money and not the customer. DISGUSTING TAXI COMPANY and TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Thank you for ruining our day on Sunday and giving us the most unforgettable experience. I can't wait to see this taxi company be shut down. It's not the first time Central have messed up jobs for me BIG TIME.

Abssolutely appalling service. Yesterday car was 15 mins late, today no car showed up at all . Do not use. Completely unreliable .

Persistently late for pre-booked pick-ups from Portobello. No-one calls to warn that the booking will be late. Just an awful service.

I would not use if you have to be somewhere for a specific time. We have been repeatedly let down.

I phoned the car while I was on the train because in previous experience the taxi takes a while to get to the pick up point. The driver arrived before I had got off and when I was called, I told the driver I wasn’t there yet. He then got extremely angry and shouted down the phone at me. He told me I was wasting his time. I did not appreciate this hostile energy and therefore did not feel safe getting into the car alone with someone so angry and aggressive

Booked taxi well in advance to catch train, turned up twenty minutes late, no apology, missed train, poor service

We booked a taxi to go to a hospital for an appointment because it is difficult to park at the hospital. We booked it the night before and stressed how important it was for it to turn up on time. It did not turn up at all and when we tried to ring the company, nobody answered the phone. We had to drive to the hospital and almost missed the hospital appointment. A shambolic company which we will never use again.

Amazing service always use central cars. Helped me out big time with long distance travel due to train cancellations. Andrew and the main desk deserves a raise.

I prebooked a taxi, none was sent and when I called that was when she said she would send it but blamed the weather for the problem. It was 12 degreesvand I'm wondering how the weather was affecting them.
P.S: no taxi was sent.

I use Central cars every morning, and they have never let me down. To top it off my bank card fell out of my pocket and they rang me the following day to say they had it!! Amazing service, staff and drivers are so polite would not hesitate in recommending this taxi firm.

I only use central taxi always on time im in a wheelchair and all drivers are very friendly and helpful could not ask for a better taxi firm.

Just finished a long working day and no bus for nearly an hour so booked last minute as wet and cold due to rain .
Got in taxi fare display running on phone . £5.90 100 yards from home .
Driver then switched off fare and says £7 please . Questioned this and was told it was dictated by the control room . NEVER ! Have they ever turned the fare off in as many years I have used them . Dont cost me that to travel further with same company.
