Ordered a taxi at 07:22am due to bad weather requested taxi for 08:20 am informed it’s for a school run, asked if they couldn’t do the booking to let me know by 08:15 as my son school is a 20 min walk!! And last time they let me know with 10 mins before my son due at school that they couldn’t do the booking. Lady that I made the booking with said she would put it as a priority and keep an eye on the booking. Received text at 08:08 saying taxi had been dispatched. Great I thought received another one at 08:25 saying it was going to be late when it was already 5 mins late. Phoned company to voice my frustration to be told by another women nothing they can do all they can do is apologise. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!! You really need to re look at your booking system and not assign things to drivers that already have school runs!!! To add insult to injury they phone me at 8:43 to say they on the way absolute jokers!!!

Surprised to see bad reviews as I use central taxis regularly and I think they are brilliant. Quick to pick up, friendly helpful drivers and never had any issues. ( Bulwell taxis)

Every single time I phone central cars I let them know I will be using card to pay but they don’t listen and send me a taxi for cash, this keeps on happening and ends up causing problems for me and the driver . Very unprofessional

I think its unreal that got cab from Bulwell bus station and had to give black driver directions to headstocks

Wow, been using these guys for years, but tonight asked why up to an hour and got slammed out on the phone!
Rude…… suggest controllers be a bit more accepting of regulars. Otherwise, we will go elsewhere 😢

If i could give none i would always late . Every Time its 20 mins but end up not coming or being more like 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hour .they used to be okay but now there a joke

I am too thankful for today's driver Micheal (P33)😭. This is the best driver l have ever met in my life l have to say. First, he is really polite, he was waiting for me for almost 15 min outside. When l met him, he help me to load all the luggage into the car. I almost have 3 big luggage, 3 boxes and 5 bags. All of them are carried by Micheal. He just asked me to have a rest in the car. When too much luggage is put around the seat, he also said”l need to move the luggage to the front chair since l am afraid your leg will be uncomfortable” 😭I have never met such helpful driver in my life in the worldwide who can serve me like that! Second, since yesterday the Queen was dead so today many roads are closed. Although the closed roads are very unclear, Micheal found the best shortcut for me to save my time and fee. I was very surprised that he is so familiar with every tiny road in Edinburgh! Third, on the way, he cares if my comfortable or not, chat with me and He is very careful and professional, even wear mask in order not to make me worried about anything! Last but not least, after he help me to put everything into my new flat. I found l forgot to give back my key to my previous accommodations. Micheal said he can help me to take the key back!!! I almost cry at that moment. He is so kind l am so grateful. When he succeed to return the key for me, he also give me a call to tell me the check out process is successful. I am so glad to meet such an amazing taxi driver. 😭Thank you Micheal. You really help me so much. I will always remember your kindness. 😭😭😭🙏I will definitely try central taxi again. This is such wonderful and moved experience.

Tried to book a taxi to pick us up after a gig at hampden to take back to Bonnybridge, I was told there would be no need, just to give them a call 20mins before I want picked up.
Took this advice and called after the gig only to be told they were only picking up from the city centre. Shocking service.

Absolutely appalling turn up when they want dont care your waiting twenty minutes no apologies for this delay when they can be bothered more white taxi firms on the Rd please and all non white firms cry to councils its racist to have white taxi firms I would certainly use those instead of these im sick of being held to ransom by them and whats with the door locking as soon as you sit in the car I urge anyone who gets in a taxi and do this to phone the police its kidnapping to me and anti social especially when kids get in them its wrong

Appalling service. Phoned at 10.25pm to book taxi for 12.10am from Glasgow to Cumbernauld. Taxi eventually turned up at 12.55am - apparently due to some traffic congestion b*llocks. Definitely won't be using again.
