I tried to do an exchange of 20 ETH through the Coolwallet app. No TOS was disclosed. They took my 20 ETH and stole it. They would not process it and when I contacted support they told me to do KYC. THIS WAS NEVER DISCLOSED BEFORE THE TRANSACTION. I did not want to give a foreign company my ID for fear of identity theft. I told them to just cancel the transaction and give me my 20 ETH back. Then they said they woukd keep 10% of my ETH as a penalty! They are thieves! I protested and now they just kept all of my money!

I am an US Lawyer. If you have been a victim of this company's deceptive and fraudulent practices please contact me at lordlawfirm at gmail dot com as I am planning a class-action lawsuit against this fraudulent company.

I will never use them again.

They are counting on you to not see the TOS and get stuck paying 10% for nothing. I am exposing the TOS here. Everyone should boycott this service even for small exchanges.

UPDATE: So, after several days going back and forth with customer "no service", they finally realized I was an US citizen and said that they didn't serve US citizens (again, this was never disclosed to me before the transaction). So they said because I was a US citizen, they would send me the 20 ETH back and not hold back the 10% fee. Later the next day, I did get 19.99 of my ETH back. Beware, these people are snakes and will try and rip you off. I'm not changing my review because they made it clear, that if I had not been a US Citizen, they would have taken the 10% fee as a penalty.

For a small LTC2BTC transaction the miner fee was choose around 2.3$ (28at/b) when the higher fee was 10sat/b

PS: I already talk on the websitte chat support and provide all the information. Fix the overpaying miner fee because is straight up thuggery to pay with 270% more than the real price. Do not ask me for more information because I'll not provide here any transaction id.

update: what you did here is very bad and I ask you to remove the amount I receive it, I do not complain about the bitcoin I got , I complain and give 1star because the miner fee was overpay with 270%

Very good exchange I'm looking to our future partnership.

I exchanged some BTC to BSV and it took a while to send as it was processing but the support team was effective and helpful with the process and ultimately I got my BSV and was quite satisfied with the service.

This is the best discovery i've done so far in 2022!

At first my transaction info was wrong, good thing there's a chat support and email support they quickly responded and cancelled my wrong transaction right away, and returned back my coins so I can redo my transaction correctly, aside from that their services is very fast and convenient specially their staff was very accommodating. Will definitely make another transaction soon.

If you try to do a large exchange, they will not process it and when you contact support they tell you to do KYC. If you don't want to then they charge you 10% of the amount you tried to exchange. I have had this happen twice already. It is good for small exchanges, but you never know when they will pull the KYC card on you. Many of the other services do not charge a fee if you don't want to do KYC and refund the full amount. I will never use them again. Here is the clause from their TOS:

6. In case the User does not wish to disclose their identity for certain reasons and refuses to undergo the KYC/AML procedure, ChangeHero has the right to terminate the exchange and the deposited funds are then transferred back to the initial address the deposit was made from, subtracting the network fee and ChangeHero operational fee in amount of 10% from transferred assets but not less than 100 USD equivalent.

Excellent customer support. They have fixed my mistakes beyond my satisfaction. Learn from my simple mistakes: 1) Make sure you are sending native coins and NOT wrapped versions. 2) Be sure to include the MEMO provided for your transaction when sending coins to avoid manual intervention from their 24/7 support staff.
