Cheapest price but best service possible. Moved belongings out of storage into our new house. The lads were cheerful, friendly, hardworking and they could not have been more helpful.

I found City Removals East Midlands through a Google search about a week before our move and wasn’t really sure what to expect.

They called the day before to confirm we were still on and then, on the day, arrived on the dot to start work.

As I was busy it took me a while to notice that they came very prepared - floor coverings, mattress bags, TV boxes and lifting straps.

The 3 lads really grafted and got the first load packed about 2 hours before we were to get the keys. The second load was all ‘outside’ stuff and was lined up on the drive. It was threatening rain so, instead of sitting in their van, they moved it all under the car port.

When we got into the new house - everything was put where we wanted it. They even managed to, somehow, squeeze an American Fridge Freezer (my booze fridge) into a small shed with a opening 6” lower than the fridge ... when I went to put some stuff in it later I found an open bottle of milk we had accidentally left in there .... not a drop spilt !!

End result - everything moved, everything in place and everything un-damaged.

Great lads, great service, great price - if we were ever to move again we would definitely use these guys - I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The removal men were very good. They completed the job very professionally from protecting the floor and furniture for loading the vans to removing the protection when the move was finished. I would highly recommend this company to any one who is looking to move house.

I'm ever so pleased with this service. I really found them useful because egis also fixed my bed for me which he didn't have to do but he offered and now it isn't broken so thankyou so much for going above and beyond xxx

City Removals East Midlands were incredibly professional and very reasonable prices. They had a very challenging removal of our American Fridge Freezer into a tight awkward position but managed it impressively well without any bumps or scraps to either the appliance or the walls/doors etc. They were always respectful to our new home using cover sheets when needed and very polite and friendly to talk to. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would definitely use them again.

Fantastic service. From start to finish, very efficient. They ensured all of our things were safe during transit. They used carpet protectors and were careful to avoid damage to the properties. Reassembled all furniture very quickly. Took so much of the stress out of moving day. Thank you, well worth the money!

We were recommended by a friend to City Removals . It is an excellent firm right from the first point of contact through to the assessment visit and then moving day - great focus on the job in hand , very professional and thorough and obviously experienced in all they do .

5. They wrapped everything in cellophane- I was not expecting this.
6. They were so careful and there was no sign of damage.
Basically, I was shocked at how professional they were. I deal with lots of trades people and it was a pleasant surprise to feel so positive about them.

Excellent movers, barely had to move a muscle as they carried all heavy items & furniture quickly and efficiently with no damage at all to anything. Also disassembled & reassembled our double bed. Great price and great at their job - will be using again for any future moves.

Highly recommended. It can be difficult choosing a removal company you can trust (heard so many horrible stories) but these guys were brilliant from start to finish. Their arrival was very prompt and nothing we asked was to much trouble. Everything is very professional, they covered all valuable items in a very professional manner.
