Cute coop. Disappointing initial experience but excellent customer services
Unfortunately three parts of the coop had cracked during transit. Customer services told me they could have replaced these quickly, but we just repaired them. Although the construction was reasonably easy, I feel that the wood is lightweight, so might not last as long as I hoped given that we live on the west coast of Scotland.
*update* on reading the review the customer service department contacted me with huge apologies and have compensated me. I would say that their customer service is proactive and excellent.
They are carrying out an internal investigation as they believe the coop I received had slipped through their quality assurance.

An amazing company so helpful when our coop was Delivered, some of the boxes were damaged in transit, no fault of coops and hutchs I contacted them and they were brilliant so kind and helpful they replaced the damage item straight away, I hadn't opened the largest of the parcel's as I needed help in doing that to see if that was ok and Giles said to call back if it was damaged even though it was Christmas nothing was too much trouble, thankfully the large box was ok, but the kindness of this company is second to none amazing, will definitely deal with them again, thank you

Finished coop is fine
Delivery was good but one of the panels was cracked - we had to glue it and mend it because we needed the coop made that day. Instructions are tricky to follow too. However the chickens love the finished product and are very happen which is more important.

That said, I am sorry to hear one of the panels arrived cracked and that you had to repair it yourself due to time pressures. That is not the standard we aim to deliver. Love the chicken house
Love the chicken house, it looks lovely and the design is cool. I also bought the automatic door with it, I love the fact you can add extra stuff when buying the house - so hopefully that is good when I put it together. I did see some comments about the instructions being hard to understand, don’t let this put you off, they are basic but very easy to read.

Broken door lock (Order No 81161)
The coop was easy to order, delivered quickly and easy to assemble.
The part that I am miffed about is the chain to hold the door lock broke within 2 days of use. I have emailed the admin twice now with no response once on 01/09/25 and again on 22/09. To not receive a response for nearly a month when I politely asked for a new one to be sent out is poor in my opinion.
If an admin responds, please don’t ask me to contact you as I’ve tried!

Avoid like the plague
Firstly I should be able to choose zero stars!
Very poor quality material & construction, not fit for use without additional materials added for strength & waterproofing, if we had not already started painting the pieces I would have returned it.
No parts list/assembly instructions, several parts missing, 1 part broken. As yet we have not had missing parts sent, 3 days after notifiying seller.

The hutch is advertised as XL Large…
The hutch is advertised as XL Large Rabbit hutch. I bought this hutch for 2 baby Guinnea pigs and it is far too small. I don't even think the materials used, it would last a winter. For it lasted basically one night as its far too small it felt cruel housing them in this. I wouldnt even sell this hutch onto anyone, as I don't think its suitable for a small mammal.

The coop is nice but a lot of the holes weren't in the correct places so I had to borrow a drill off a friend to redrill the holes into the correct places

Unfortunately not fit for purpose
Don't often complain about anything but unfortunately this is not fit for purpose. I wasn't expecting the world as it is significantly cheaper than others on the market however the coop is flimsy and could be easily broken into by a fox. The wood is thin, the doors and brackets are weak and the pull out tray can be accessed easily from underneath for a fox. I have had to modify this coop significantly and we have now since got a new one from elsewhere. I did approach the company but received no reply so would like to ensure others know what they are getting.

This is a tale of two sides
This is a tale of two sides. I'll start with the good then the could improve.
The good...
The ordering process, and notifications for delivery are brilliant, the courier also took great care and everything arrived in good condition. The instructions and pre-drilled holes made assembly super easy and super quick.
The could improve...
The wood and paint finish are quite poor quality, I deliberately went for the white and grey paint to avoiding needing to paint, but I needed to to get the finish how I'd expect, the wood was nicked and split in quite a few places which I've also filled and sanded.
The roof does not align to the body of the hutch on the run extension side. I appreciate the upper roof overlaps this area however wind and rain come from all directions so water ingress did occur, this needed a skirt to be attached to avoid this.
Overall for the price the quality isn't quite there, if your willing to rectify the wood, paint and make some small modifications to the roof then the hutch should be fine.

First of 5* Service 5* delivery very happy guinea pigs
First of after reading all the bad reviews I was not expecting the best but this Thumper XL hutch is a home to two guinea pig that have settled in very well only had them a week and they are only 8 week old they are two very happy sisters.
Then there the building of the hutch took about two hours to build and very simple instructions to follow it was just hard for one person to build had get my dad involved yes it is an outdoor cage but fits well inside and the cats are leaving it alone

Coop was really poor quality
Coop was really poor quality, we had to reinforce it so much to the point we may as well have just built one. Wood was very flimsy and the locks were rubbish, the extension didn’t even fit onto the coop and wasn’t the correct size. Seeing as we paid approximately £550 in all I wrote a email complaint to the company and never heard back, this was around 6 weeks ago. Honestly don’t bother!! Only good thing was the fast delivery.

Absolutely outstanding service from this company, I cannot fault them. Package came very quickly but one of the door poles was wrong, contacted them right away + a new pole was sent out the next day. The walk in run is very spacious + my 2 bunnies love it. Would definitely purchase again.
