Every member of staff of Daish - coach drive, hotel staff and email information was brilliant. Would highly recommend this company.

This company should be ashamed of…
This company should be ashamed of themselves. They fired a driver “for multiple reasons” but the only major issue was that they carried a first aid kit and defibrillator on board with them. Less than 10% of people survive out of hospital cardiac arrests. Having effective CPR and a defibrillator on scene straight away greatly improves survival rates. This driver was trained in first aid and the use of a defibrillator. To fire someone because you wouldn’t want them using company time to save the life of a passenger or member of the public nearby is just ridiculous. I really, really hope that this gets dragged through the courts and this company, or pathetic excuse for a company, gets shut down. You do not deserve any of the profits your company makes. Give your heads a wobble. I’m sure you wouldn’t mind this is it was your loved one receiving life saving cpr from the driver..
Lovely rest in a nice hotel
The staff are absolutely brilliant at the barrow field hotel. Always helpful, nothing to much trouble . the room was really spacious and clean bed comfy I slept like a log(woke up in the woods)
Lovely all round view, had a storm for two days but that British weather still enjoyed it goo people an entertaining
Disappointing hotel…
Recently stayed in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. First impression of hotel positive. Sadly didn't last long. Herded into dining room straight off the coach like school children, no time to freshen up or wash hands, after travelling for 11 hours. Food appalling, inedible, good job decent restaurants and pubs within walking distance for a decent meal. Waiter very pleasant but rushed off his feet.
Room - dirty, grubby and very dusty. Smallest television possible. Wi-fi not available in bedrooms. Grime and mould around edge of bath, dirty rubber bath mat and rusty sink plug and shower rail.
Evening entertainment bingo and pub quiz held in a soulless lounge area.
I would not recommend anyone to avoid this hotel.
Shanklin and the Isle of Wight beautiful.

I had a great time at the imperial hotel, no complaints from me! Friendly, efficient Staff. Always cheerful, and at times quite funny. I love Eastbourne and the imperial hotel 👍
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. On way home from snow dome and the driver tried to run my boy off the road and cause a 18 car pile up. Disappointed
I booked a holiday in June at the…
I booked a holiday in June at the Prince Regent hotel in Weymouth and as a solo passenger, I booked a double room with solo occupancy for an extra £202 and specified that I have mobility issues and couldn’t manage too many stairs. When I arrived, I found my room which was on the first floor and it was indeed a double room but when I entered the room there was an overwhelming stench which made me open a window to let the smell out. The smell was coming from the bathroom and it was as if the room had not been checked properly by the cleaners and cleaned properly. I went down to complain at reception and there were others asking for different rooms due to problems. I complained about my room and asked for another one but there was only one available on the top floor with steps going up to it. The staff came up to see my room and smelt it, agreeing that the shower had stagnated water in it and run it off. Also the toilet was smelly too. As I had paid £202 extra for this room this should not had happened and I should have been refunded my money back. I was shown to a single room and asked if I wanted to go back to the double room as they had resolved the problem but the smell remained and I opted for the small single room instead. After several messages to and fro from Head Office, they apologised for the incident and offered me a voucher for £100 in compensation but I said I wanted a full refund which I didn’t get. This has put me off travelling with them in the future. I have had four other holidays with them without any issues so I don’t like being treated this way. Am I wrong in asking for a refund? I don’t think so. Sorry Daishs, you have lost my custom.
Thank you to Leone
Thank you to Leone for taking our booking to for Eastbourne, very polite efficient lady all booked in twenty minutes .
Look forward to our stay on 8th July 2025 .

Went to Eastbourne and Was OK ish .trip down was good .lovely bus driver ,he had only been with daishs a couple of weeks .i have to say our room was clean but walls and windows need painting and needs updating ,also could only open window maybe 6 inches it was very very hot weather ,so room was very stuffy . I know it is so seagulls can’t get into room .but surely it would be better to have some sort of netting .. I think there needs to be ramps into dining room as I have mobility issues and there was lack of ramps .breakfast was good ,evening meal was not good at all .have to say I definitely won’t be going back there but went to Weymouth last year and was great ,so will go back there this year .

I think a lot of people need to look and think hard what they are getting for their money.
All the complainers who are condeming Daish holidays should think about what they are getting for the price.
The reality is they are offering 5 days away in great resorts with all your food at a fantastic price. May not be the Ritz but you are getting a fantastic price
Shoddy business practice
What can you say about a hotel that rings you up a week before your proposed holiday and tells you that the room that you have paid extra for is 'not available due to building work'. You would have thought that they knew well in advance what the plans were.
So, at very short notice, having pre-booked trips to Whitby and York as well as a theatre visit, I had to book travel and accommodation, the short notice meaning my cost was a lot larger than my refund.
During my stay in Scarborough I met several folk who were actually staying at the Esplanade who said they were being 'forced out' during the day because of the racket being caused by the refurbishment work. Luckily, the weather was gorgeous.
Another issue I have for the owners is that, a week or so after I had paid in full, they cut the price of the 5 night stay by nearly £100, the coach then being less than a third full. Could I also have the reduction? Not on your nellie.
Having booked Daish's Holidays solely because I saw their coach parked up in Felixstowe, the parsimonious £25 compensation voucher issued with their refund will NEVER be used.
I remain outraged by this company and do not recommend them whatsoever.
Terrible company
Terrible company, have really gone down bank since the last time we used them. We had to change coaches both going and on return journey which we were not informed of until 5 minutes before we had to, and when doing so were just told you have to change here no information on which coach to get on or where it was. The hotel (barrowfield Newquay) was OK but only just, the food was shockingly bad. The promised optional excursions went down to one trip, this to was badly organised, when asking we were told there would be one excursion during our stay on the Thursday but they didn't know where to until the day before! This was to St Ives but with no cider farm visit as advertised on their website
All in all a terrible experience and extremely badly organised. I believe that this company know how bad they are as they never reply to or defend any of their reviews. Definitely sticking with alfa travel in future, far superior
Profit only company
Load of rubbish , only interested in money and profit.
This company buys up hotels in the uk then won't let people stay unless it's four days or more , I wanted to stay for 3 nights which we have done for many years at the Espladade Hotel Scarborough in oct this year yet now we can never stay there again because of this company.
First time travelling with Daish
Being a new customer with this Company initially was impressed with a prompt pick up at the start of our holiday to Western Super Mare, with a very clean coach and polite driver, however we had two stops of only 30 minutes not very long for a lunch break, got to hotel where it looked all ok at reception however got to our room that was very small but had all that we needed furniture needs to be replaced bed was very uncomfortable went to the reception after two nights requesting the matteress to be changed the receptionist was very helpful and changed our room which gave us a better sleep for the rest of the holiday. First night dinner was a little disappointing the starter had all dried up and the salad leaves were all limp not sure how long they had been put on the table before service. As the days went by the food did however improve except for the salad leaves were always served up limp!
The brochure mentions that you can go on optional tours Western Super mare had 4 tours available according to the brochure only one was arranged by Daish which was to a Shopping Centre who on earth goes on holiday to want to go to a shopping centre I can do that any time at home We wanted to go to places of interest that is in the area which according to the Brochure was Wells and Cheddar gorge, Bath and Bristol which would have been a lot more interesting. Landed up using the local buses to get to places of interest, the whole idea of going on this holiday was for the extra trips.
Lastly the coach we had for the home trip was not at all good compared to the one we went in. again two stops but this time was for 15 minutes each time. It took five minutes or more to get of the coach as the driver did not open the side door to let people from the back get off we all had to get off at the front of the coach, It was a very warm day travelling home and the air conditioning did not work at all. Driver tried to apologise but surely this should have been in one of his check lists also the coach had not been cleaned from it's previous trip wrappers on the floor and windows were dirty on one side. Overall you get what you pay for!
We stayed at the Russell hotel in weymouth
We stayed at the Russell hotel in weymouth the rooms were really outdated with cracks all up the walls stains on curtains and rooms were not cleaned properly dusty and dirty. The manager not interested and rude when complained. Mattress had yellow looked like urine stains on and no mattress protector on beds. Was not told when booking there was renovation's going on so can be quite noisy and dusty in the day time. Was offered another room which was just as dirty as the one we were given so said it wasn't acceptable eventually given the room we stayed in as was told of we come home we wouldn't be given are money back so felt we had no choice. Food was cold and veg undercooked. Was not comfortable to complain to the manager anymore as he wasn't very approachable. Was not allowed to take inside or charge my mobility scooter during the whole trip even though he was told it wasnt a lithium battery. Complained to daishs when we come back but they are not interested and have said things that wasn’t true or said by us during the stay. Would advise people not to book through them and look in to it more before staying anywhere with daish holidays
