Pathetic customer service
Made an order and paid extra for 2 day DPD delivery as needed the item for a tournament. Direct badminton didn't even dispatch the item in the time frame. Contacted their customer services but the lady who answered the call was not helpful at all. She siad that even if you pay extra for a speedy delivery, it is not guaranteed. I asked why it asks customers to pay extra then and giving a delivery slot on the website. She said even if you pay extra money,they will despatch when they can. It is a rip off. Poor customer service. Disappointed.

Scam of a company
Scam of a company. For context, I refer to the Yonex 800 Pro that I purchased. When the parcel arrived, it was severely damaged (large hole through the box). I have clear CCTV footage (and backed up by my concierge) that the box arrived damaged.
When I opened up the box to inspect the racket, there were stains on the plastic handle. Another cheap point - there's no bag / protector over the racket. Possibly grease from the factory floor or from the delivery truck or somewhere else - who knows. It did actually stained parts of my sofa and I removed the plastic handle wrap. I immediately returned the item (and actually used one of my own Yonex bag - which DS actually kept).
DS returned the item on a flimsy excuse that the plastic handle was removed (what a joke). They didn't even bother to call me. For context, I purchased another Yonex (Astrox) and kept that as the package was fine when it arrived.
Ironically - when the Nanoflare 800 Pro came back - the box was (once again) damaged. Almost in the same spot. I have kept the box as is this time around. I plan to bring DS to small claims court. It is unconscionable and unethical that this company chooses to operate in such predatory manner.

In order to continue to deliver the highest quality of service and products to our customers, we are unable to accept returned items where the original packaging is not completely intact. Without the plastic wrap on the handle, we would not be able to send an item to another customer with confidence that it had not been used. This is clearly stated in our T&Cs and is inline with other online retailers.
It is unfortunate that you believe that your parcel arrived in a damaged condition, however as you had not informed us of this prior to returning the item, we were unable to support you with this claim. When the item returned to us, there was no evidence of any damage or grease. It was also taken into consideration that we have received items from you in the past which you had admitted to using before returning.
Whilst acting in line with our T&Cs, we have done our best to maintain a good level of customer service even when you recorded a phone call with one of our members of staff without their consent.

Buyer beware
I was sent a shoe which had a small yellow mark on the tongue and they were too tight. I returned these for a refund only to have them returned back to me because of the yellow stain, stating there were not in a marketable condition. So now I have a pair of shoes which are too small.
Terrible service I would advise against using this company.

In order to accept returns, items must be in a brand new condition so that they can be sold to another customer. If any faults are found when receiving your order, we must be notified before they are returned so that we are able to investigate this further. As we had not received any communication from yourself in regards to the mark and our system showed that this item had not been sent to another customer, we were only left with the reasonable assumption that the mark had occurred while in your possession.
I apologise that you are dissatisfied with this outcome however we could only act with the information available to us at time, and did so in line with the T&Cs on our website.

Lack of responsibility for sending a deformed item
I ordered a racket with custom restringing service. After i received, i found out it has a visible deformation. I sent it back for assesment and they said they didnt find any deformation. After they have sent back, i went to find a professional restringer and he said its clearly deformed. I went and contacted them abt this issue again and they keep push away the responsibility of selling a deformed racket. This so called "badminton shop" just doesnt care after they have sent u a deformed item. DO NOT BUY RACKET FROM THEM!

The order took a whole 7 days to arrive. This despite the fact that I was charged almost 5 pounds for delivery.
Value for money isn't great. I almost want to ask for a delivery fee refund.

The tracking information provided for your item should show when the item left our warehouse. Once the item has been collected by the courier we unfortunately have no influence on how long it takes to travel through their network.
If standard delivery had been selected at checkout, there is no promised delivery date therefore we will not be able to issue a refund for a delayed delivery time, provided that the item had left us within 48hours.

The order received within two days. The tension that Ive ordered was 26lbs but when I got it, it only felt like 21.
Poor product quality maybe because it was on sale.
