Dollarama’s no exchange/no return policy is unacceptable.

I purchased a pet harness, realized it didn’t fit, and returned within one hour with the unused item and receipt to exchange it for the correct size. I wasn’t asking for a refund, only a size exchange. I was refused.

Refusing to exchange an unused product immediately after purchase shows a complete lack of customer care. Policies should prevent abuse, not penalize honest customers.

I won’t be shopping at Dollarama again.

At 9160 rue airlie LaSalle Quebec a lady in her 40s was so disrespectful I was shopping with my friend and as a teen I think that she tought that we stole cause we were pretty much taking a lot of stuff then changing our minds. Then when I was at the checkout she looked at me weird while I was pulling out my money then proceeded to 'tsk' me while i did nothing wrong and when I said hi and how are you she didnt answer me and when I was about to leave with my friend, she said "I dont answer to thiefs". Mind you we didnt steal anything and she proceeded to come at the door before we left and told us to open our bags wich we did and we only had our books in there I think that it was the most disrespectful and probably racist thing I've lived as a black person

Friendly employees who are helpful, lots of great products which I go to dollarama before other stores even if bigger places carry the items I want.

Dollarama has No Customer Service by phone. Totally unacceptable. They do not allow you to talk to anyone at store level of even a call center.

The purple haired female employee targeted and harassed my family. She accused my child of opening a product. Which was untrue. Ultimatley,after recording us for no reason, she began screaming 'YOU UGLY. B*TCH,' infront of my 3 young children, other customers and staff. I have been trying to reach Dollarama for an appropriate resolution, and find out what their store policies are on recording customers/minors with personal cell phones because she felt a child opened a lotion.

Went to the location in NW Calgary at Royal Oak. Was so impressed by the selection of things that they have and was surprised by how big the store was. Overall, got everything I needed and more. Usually, how it goes at Dollarama.

A employee old lady with glasses & grey hair . Has a very serious attitude problem . I went there to buy a few things I needed like I always do . Spend $2-3 or $2-$5 depends what I need . She tried to humiliate me for spending $2-$3 . Her words “ I wouldn’t even come to the store to spend $2-3 trying to humiliate me or something . I always do & always will . What a dirty excuse for a human to naje this statement ! She should be fired . But yet still works there ? Dollarama do better by not endorsing this behaviour & treatment of your loyal customers . Not acceptable!

Dollarama is very RACIST in that they dont hire white european canadians…its so frustrating to see such a racially cultural shift to the detriment to of those of us that have been here for generations and built this country.

Im complaint an employee cashier Dollarama. She’s very nasty not very nice. I just went there what’s wrong and I went there. I’m not doing nothing wrong. I was at the dollar store this cashier was working now. Is it sort of bothering you when I come to the store? I don’t like it. I’m very sensitive all right you have to say something say something nice to me and I don’t like what you said oh hi lady, how are you today? OK thank you

The Dollarama at 486 St-Catherine west, is always clean, well stocked and the shelves are kept organized. As for the employees, they are polite and helpful, because I'm polite with them. There's even good music pumped into the store. My favorite Dollarama downtown.

Bought a bag of Wonderful brand pistachios , ate most of the bag and discovered what looks like a maggot, mould and maggot eggs inside a pistachio. But what was worse is how client services handles this complaint. They initially didn't offer anything not even a refund, then tried to get me to accept a $10 gift card. Shameful.

Very bad experience in oshawa dollarama. Poor customer service and caster need to change his attitude

I visited the Acton location the manager there needs to take some classes on how to be professional as a MANAGER of an establishment.

Even though I am telling him not to charge me yet, he still charged made me rang my card. I didn’t want the item. It was too expensive. There was no written on it, but he didn’t care on complaining, took my money and threw at me and told me to bad words This is kind of service that Dollarama on 71 and 138 is providing stop going to this Dollarama in Surrey. The guy is really hardheaded was threatening me to get out the store.

A few times a week I venture down the hill to the Dollarama at the Port Place Mall in Nanaimo. I’m pleased to shop and support a Canadian owned company. I feel a sense of Canadian pride.

“My Dollarama” is clean, bright, and well organized. What I really value at “My Dollarama” is the employee, Jenny. Jenny is more than a cashier. She’s a friendly face, with a kind word, and a pleasant greeting. What makes this employee excellent is her retail service. Jenny is a multitasker. She works two tills at a time keeping the line moving quickly. “Good to go.” is what she says to the client as she jumps to the adjacent till ringing up the next person. The line moves quickly.

Jenny is an amazing employee and deserves acknowledgement from the corporation and a prize for her commitment to cheerful customer service. I always look forward to the next Dollarma shopping experience and my encounter with Jenny.

I like Dollarama , but some locations have a serious attitude problem . I was just at the " Forum " branch & no hand held baskets , making a friendly gesture to the cahier to see if they had any , she nodded " no " with attitude & dismissive grimace & looked away , like she doesn't give a flying prune & I'm certain she doesn't . Charming . Same problem at the check out at Alexis Nihon ... it's like they just don't care .Now since I'm not one who only complains , I can tell you that the " Cathedral " branch has always been in a good mood & even say thank you with a smile . That's it , that's all . Good luck .

I bought $1950 apple gift cards on Saturday at 230 in bowmanville location at 243 king street east. All 4 cards that I bought were all blank went inside the store and asked for 2 brand new apple gift cards to replace the 2 fraudulent ones. The manager never gave us the 2 new ones without paying for them. Then she took my friend sunglasses and put them behind the till.

Attended the Polson Park Mall location in Vernon, BC and was absolutely gobsmacked at how encrusted with dirt their carts and pull along baskets were. I am talking thick, encrusted dirt and grim with a baked on to the metal and plastic appearance. And I went through all the carts looking for a cleaner one but they were all like that. 🤮🤮🤮
Then I had the nerve to try and contact head office to complain and found a system that has been set up so they never have to actually talk to a customer.
What about the above statements would make anyone think this company sees its customers as anything other than walking cash machines. Because they certainly are not supporters of "customer service". I'll be shopping at the other 3 none dollarama dollar stores in our area from now on.
