You would think that with all the profits they are raking in, that they would invest in a useful website, where we can check to see if a product is in stock or not. Since we can no longer call the store directly. Calling their 1-888 number is useless. And their website is completely useless as well.

Caissière avec le bonnet de Père Noël blanc à la caisse (Beaubien, saint leonard). Je suis passée à la caisse pour payer mes achats, et la caissière était au téléphone, sans même dire bonjour. Elle a simplement passé mes articles et les a laissés sur le comptoir, sans m’aider à les mettre dans le sac que j’avais apporté. Je lui ai demandé si elle pouvait m’aider à les ranger, étant donné que j’avais plusieurs articles, mais elle m’a ignorée. Malgré que je lui ai dit : « Je vous parle, mais vous m’ignorez, est-ce ainsi que vous traitez vos clients ? », elle est restée silencieuse, regardant ailleurs, comme si je n’étais pas en face d’elle. Elle m’a donné le reçu et est allée parler à sa collègue comme si de rien n’était. C’était un manque de respect de sa part. C’était ma première fois dans ce Dollarama, et ce sera la dernière. Une cliente de moins chez vous.

Je met ce review, car ce comportement est très peu professionnel et inacceptable.

I am making a comment about the 'Mountana' dude who typed that Dollarama is the worst store on the Planet. Wow! He must be a space astronaut having flown around the Planet Earth (I assume). This disgruntled customer is from Ontario. Sounds like an unhappy person about other stores in Canada and the USA as well. I suggest he stay in his space craft and keep on orbiting whatever Planet including Mars.

They price things incorrectly but will only honor 1 item only!! If they price it wrong then they should honor the price but they wouldn’t!! . Management are rude and not friendly. The cashier was kind but manager not nice. Then contacted them customer service. Did not reply to all my questions. Stated they would send e gift card and they didn’t!!! I wonder how many time they price items wrong hoping customers dont notice.

I bought a prepaid Joker Mastercard from Dollarama, registered the card when I got home, and tried to use it several times to activate a new prepaid phone plan @ Lucky Mobile only to realize that I was having a hard time because the credit card number was not the same number as on the receipt from the store. When I checked the balance, it had/has purchases in Seattle... I live and bought the card in Canada... Why is Dollarama selling fraudulent Mastercards?

their temporary foreign workers are always watching and assuming that us indigenous Canadians are thieves. Just had that aexperience at the Market Mall Saskatoon Location do not patronize Dollarama

I went in to buy items for crafts and spent $160
Some of the items I bought did not fit in the bags so I put them in a basket to take out of the store. I was parked in front of the doors, 3-5 fit away.
I was approached a female worker who said aggressively “no, don’t take that basket out of the store, you are on camera and we only have 4 baskets”
I said, sorry I can’t take it just to put these items in my car, and pointed to my car,
“No she said, you are on cameras” again aggressively.
So I asked what is your name ?
She said “You don’t need it” I asked what’s the mangers name then, she said “you don’t need it, it’s not of your business”
I said to her yes customers are aloud to know the managers name.
And I took out my phone to first look up if it showed on the website and then she said you don’t get to know anyone’s name.
So I started to record her and she went to the back of the store. I again was asking her what was the managers name and she avoided me.
I took my items to the car and returned the basket inside the store as promised.
As I was sitting in my car to look up the managers of the store, she walked past the window and stuck up the middle finger at me.
She then was on the phone and calling the manager I assume?!
This was so sad to see the lack of communication from this women and the other workers, a male and female standing behind the counter who did not even answer me when I asked them who is the manager.
I have videos I will be sending to their head office.

Schmidt products are garbage. I will never buy. Rake was done as soon as I reached home. Handle comes out. Garden nozzle auto does not stick. I have to keep squeezing when watering the garden. One dollar is ok but at $4 it's a waste. Go elsewhere

LRecently, I purchased a $200 MasterCard gift card with cash at a Dollarama location. The cashier processed the transaction, but the receipt I was given showed “transaction canceled.” I immediately suspected something was wrong and documented the incident with photos and video.

When I attempted to use the gift card outside the store, it was not activated. I returned to the store and spoke with the manager, who insisted I contact MasterCard directly. MasterCard later confirmed that the card was never activated at all. Despite presenting proof that the transaction was canceled and the gift card was invalid, Dollarama refused to refund my money or take responsibility.

I attempted to escalate the issue by contacting Dollarama’s customer support and leaving multiple public reviews, but I have received no response. This raises serious concerns: How often does this happen to unsuspecting customers, especially when purchases are made with cash and there is little recourse?

This is not only about my personal loss, but about a larger consumer risk. Many people purchase prepaid gift cards at Dollarama, gas stations, and other retailers. If transactions fail and cards are never activated, customers are left with worthless cards and no accountability from the store.

I am sharing my story in hopes that the media can shed light on this issue.
Fortunately I did take a video and took pictures that can validate this crazy incident.

Item had a price tag $1.25, rung up at $1.75 I tlod her the tag says $1.25. She said it's $1.75 and that wasn't their tag. Dtore is Wellington & Commissioners in London. Have had dishonest staff before and will nver be back, Stakff and probably manager are cheats and liars.

Aujourd’hui j’ai fais une expérience étrange au niveau de leurs politiques sans retour et sans échange,?j’ai acheté 4 toiles par erreurs et je n’ai jamais réussi à me faire rembourser?habituellement il devrait y avoir des retours si l’acheteur à payer à peine 5minutes ,j’avais l’impression que je me suis fait duper !ce n’est pas une façon de faire des affaires c’est certain que je vais éviter ce genre de magasin ce n’est plus ce que c’était ,c’est juste bon pour des achats de friandises le reste qu’il ne veulent pas que vous retourner c’est rien d’autre que de la scrap c’est pour ça que leur politique sans retour ni échange et un procéder afin de se faire rouler dans la farine!

In one of the Lethbridge Dollaramas I mistakenly bought two boxes of pet carpet deodorizer. I meant to by litter box deodorizer. They didn't have any and then one of the staff told me that they don't do exchanges or refunds! What a ripoff! Bunch of crooks is what they are!

the reason for the bad review is solely based on the fact that i cant find my product i purchased from dollarama anywhere online let alone the site of the store who sold me the item i was searching for the instructions but they were missing so i figured they could easily be found through google chromes image search and there’s absolutely nothing!!! not even when i just google the brand and product name either….. wtf?!

Do not buy any batteries from Dollarama.Or bird seed.( Langford BC canada) They are expired batteries. Even the name brand Panasonic are expired. I purchased a bag of Budgie bird seed here as well It smells of mildew/mold! Will make your birds very ill eating contaminated food. Total scam going on here.

Web site is useless for product information. This was after it tells me the location doe not exist.(its still there today) I will save the fuel there & head to the Dollar Store or others like it.

Awful situation, congenial staff, likely overworked, overwhelmed & underpaid from my experience there , so went in there yesterday and bought a $500 Visa gift card with cash that’s $509.35 including tax and got a card that did not work. I went to return the card. They told me that they were not responsible. They did not have to refund or return how on this planet does that make sense this is a big box company one of the fastest growing companies in the country so they are making money handover fist. Why can’t they refund my money?

Breaking News', Friday close of buisness still not even a simple thing like returning a reply to the email I sent them the email from the people who have my $500 that is a big box company that make billions a year, Go Figure 😝

I live within walking distance to the Dollarama located at Nanaimo North Town Center. Unfortunatly this store is run by a lazy and rude manager. He is always in the back on his phone. Meanwhile customers are lined up
14 deep. He does not come out to help and I have gone back many times to get him. No customer service at all. So going forward I will go elsewhere.
