I get frustrated with complicated checkouts but this was the smoothest process lol

I didn't want to put any stars but to enable to move forward I had to grungily put one.

COMPANY It's nothing short of a Scam,
They advertises goods at a sale price, knowing that the goods are of poor quality, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

Shoddy quality. No refunds on sale items. Store credit only. From China. Do not deal with them.

These are lightweight but don’t feel cheap.

This might be a weird thing to be excited about but I hate when clothes shrink yet these held their shape perfectly

If, like me, you're here because you've already made a purchase and had a negative experience, I hope that sharing my experience will help.

I ordered an item from this company which appeared to be based in the Netherlands, but it was shipped from China and turned out to be a poor-quality imitation of what was advertised.

When I asked for a refund due to the item not matching the online listing, the seller insisted I had to pay return shipping. My bank's transaction disputes team advised me that if a product is not as described, the merchant is responsible for covering the return costs.

To enable your bank to assist you with the chargeback process, email the seller clearly listing the discrepancies between what was advertised and what you received. State that the item is ready for collection from the delivery address. Say that they can either collect, or provide you with a FREE PRE-PAID return label so that you can ship it back to them.

Don't be discouraged if they push back by saying that sale items are non-refundable - that doesn't apply when an item has been misrepresented.

If they refuse or ignore your request, you can initiate a chargeback claim through your bank's transaction disputes process - just make sure that you've documented everything clearly. Your bank will advise how many days you'll have to wait before they can take action following you sending the above notice.

Stay calm, follow the process, and don't give up. I hope this helps others navigate a frustrating situation.

It feels like loungewear but looks so polished

I bought a pair of satin pjs with feather edging on arms and legs for a surprise for my daughter to wear on the morning of her wedding.
The pjs were supposed to be or an adult medium size.....they were so small, they just about fitted my 10 year old niece. As soon as I opened the package the feathers fell off ..... not just a small amount, ..... but covered the surface and all over the floor. One of the buttons had broken in half. The satin material was of poor quality and almost see through.
The pjs arrived in a freezer bag, with no labels on the garment. There was also no size, care or hazard label sewn onto the material.......meaning NO WARNINGS ABOUT SAFETY/INFLAMABLE!....... this is illegal and dangerous too.

I have contacted Elegance Urban who appologised but refused to give me a refund as they say the item was in a sale. They were happy for an exchange for the same item or something else. Why would I buy from a company who products are of really poor quality and PUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT RISK because of NO information on safety etc. Also they are dishonest by selling items which do not match up with their product specifications in any way.

They really spoilt the surprise for my daughter's wedding morning and this cannot be undone!

I would really recommend that you do not trust or buy from this company. They certainly have exploited my right as a customer and have no interest in refunding me.....I bought an item that was not cheap and have been exploited!

Quality is shocking, came direct from china, I ordered XL even though I'm normally Large, couldn't even get them on. Couldn't get a refund, they don't do refunds on sales items, Will never buy from them again!

Honestly, I didn’t have the highest expectations, but wow… the fabric is luxurious, and the stitching is solid

The material feels so soft on my skin, and everything fits beautifully. I was skeptical at first, but after receiving my first order, I can confidently say Elegance Urban is now my go-to!

This company is refusing to refund me even though it is a legal requirement to refund online purchases. The item they sent me does not match the description and they are trying to fob me off by telling me they have a policy on sale items. a) it is the law to refund regardless, b) their policy doesn't even say this on the website. These people are scammers

Trousers poor quality and not long enough. I asked to return them and was told refund not possible as their policy is no refunds for good bought in a sale. There was nothing about a sale on their website when I ordered them.
This company is dishonest.

This should be a no star review, but unfortunately that isn’t an option. My parcel was delivered while I was away and left in an unsafe place. When I got home it wasn’t there. There was a lot of too-ing and fro-ing between this company and the courier but ultimately it is the responsibility of the seller to ensure safe delivery. I have now emailed Leigh eleven times to resolve the situation, each time they have come back with some excuse and reason not to refund me. They have now stopped responding to my emails. This company shouldn’t be allowed to operate, they are very obviously based in China not Europe which is what they’d like you to believe. I feel totally ripped off. Do not use this company, i so wished I read the reviews before ordering!

Scams ! Instead waterproof jacket £49.99 arrived a polyester shirt in large a flimsy, poorly stitched shirt with no branding. Just a badly made, poor quality shirt. Absolutely different than was described online. 
And they gave to me form to return item to China. What cost me  £20.99 for delivery. 
It is or very professional fraud what stealing money from people.
The goods are fake and falsely advertised this is a pretty clear case of fraud. Needs to report and put that company in jail.

Just to say thank you for the reviews of Elegance-Urban. Saved me making an expensive mistake. I challenged them on chinese connections and they insist they are based in the Netherlands but do source items from China. Perhaps the Netherlands trading standards should investigate.

I would vote less than 1 star if I could. The shirt I ordered did not match the description and the quality was awful.
They would not refund but offered a credit note. The second item was equally poor quality and did not fit.
I highly recommend never using this firm

Absolutely awful company - do not waste your money.
*I paid £53 for a “jacket” that was not in any way as described . Cheaply made , appalling quality , thin cheap and badly sewn material . It was supposed to be velvet .
* I wanted to return it but the company is obviously geared up to do everything to prevent this . They make you send an email and then insist that it isn’t their policy to return items that were in the sale. ( Everything on their website is in the sale). This is not lawful policy.
* Leigh from customer services deals with emails in the most patronising manner possible . He/she ignores your complaints and sends endless inane emails offering vouchers that you can spend with them. Of course you do not want to receive anything else from them , so it’s a win/win for them .
No return address- they obviously do not want anything returned because their products are cheap junk. Leigh should win an award for his/her polite ingratiating reply emails that endlessly ask if “there is anything else I can help you with ?” These emails will make you want to hurl your laptop into the sun .
*Reported to Trading Standards , BBC Radio 4 consumer program and international online trading regulators. Let’s hope these cowboys are closed down soon .
