Excellent dealings with Energy Smart. Friendly and helpful staff.

Really happy with the service from Energy smart. It’s been quite a big job but Tom & the lads have been great and turned it round pretty quick. I had a few questions about the air source heat pump but Matt rang and pt my mind at rest. We’re just waiting on the decorator to repaint the plastered walls but we’re over the moon with everything they’ve done. I’ve already told my friend who’s got a survey booked next week. Would definitely recommend

We had a new central heating system fitted throughout the house under the ECO4 scheme by Energy Smart. We could not fault Energy Smart from start to finish. Very tidy job and very considerate workmen. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend.

They very quickly arranged for a survey and the works started shortly after.
All systems were installed quickly and the house was left in decent condition.
We had problems with the heating not working but it was sorted.

Had solar panels. Loft insulation and heaters put into my home. Adam was only a call away if i needed to get in touch with anyone and was always very helpful. Tom the electrician was wonderful so helpful and poliet and worked really hard to install everything for me he definitely is a credit to there company.

Great service from the beginning to the end, first class product!

I recently met with Ansar, an employee of EnergySmart, who completed an internal wall insulation survey for my house. Ansar was extremely professional and took the time to explain the whole process and patiently answer all my questions.

The process was quick, easy, and overall the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend EnergySmart should anyone need a similar service.

Happy friendly staff, (builders/plumbers and Office staff) Always happy to help and always resolved any issues quickly.

Entering a New Age of Home Heating.
Having read an advertisement in 'y Tir' ( the monthly FUW news sheet) I decided to find out just what this was all about and contacted the 'phone number provided. I almost instantly received a reply telling me that if I met all of the requirements Energy Smart would be sending a surveyor to view the necessary work involved. This done and agreed I then waited for the workmen to arrive which they did within a couple of weeks. Three young men who were polite and who worked very hard and quickly and couldn't be faulted. After they completed the lining of the property the electricians arrived who sited the solar panels and worked alongside the plumber to install the heat pump. This is all working perfectly and the house now has a constant even warmth and really hot water. As far as I can see it is a big improvement on the oil heating which we previously had and we are very happy with it. There are a few details which we are still waiting for to completely finish the job but I can say that we are completely satisfied with the work so far.

We were lucky to be offered the grant to install the air pump etc and so pleased we did. From the initial call from Lee to the end of installation we can't fault the workforce enough. We can't remember their names but each and every one were really fantastic. They all respected our home and stayed on late to finish Thier job. We had read some reviews and thought oh my . But we had no issues with anything. Lovely guys . Respectful. End result is a really efficient heating system and an end to oil and coal for us. Thank you .

12 months after starting this disaster we've had to get another solar energy firm in to fix the mistakes of energy smart!
It's going to cost us over £2500 just to get the solar safe!!

The immediate safety issues with the system Joe identified are:

- The supply cable to the inverter is undersized, and should be upgraded to a sufficient size immediately.

- There is no RCD protection on your system.

- There is no AC Surge protection on your system.

- The isolators are undersized.

- There is no DC Battery isolator installed.

The inverter had not been set up or properly commissioned.

So they left us with an unsafe system and our electric kept tripping.
They're a bunch of cowboys and they don't care that they leave people's houses wrecked and unsafe!
Please please do NOT use them.
Learn for all of our mistakes.

The staff turn over is unbelievable. They promise the world but deliver nothing.
Famous words from them our director is really unsatisfied with his you've been treated. Not done anything about it though had he??
Tried to fob me off with a £500 settlement figure.

Avoid. This company are a nightmare to deal with. They will promise you the earth and deliver nothing.
A 3 week instal (that started in July 2023!) has turned into a 12 week nightmare and we're no where near finished.
We have been left with damaged carpets. Plaster all over pictures, doors and floors. Scratched worktops, broken kitchen appliances. They sent a "multi trades person" who cut pipes off without asking and without capping them off properly so as soon as the heating was switched on it burst and the water went all over the living room. Sometimes staff turned up, once they came 5 hours late and told me he was sorry he's been in the pub all night and ended up at some birds house! They cut tops off doors because they didn't plaster the rooms properly. They put a windowsill in wonky and left big holes in walls. Took floorboards up and don't replace them or put them down properly after. Left nails sticking up in floorboards which ended up in feet getting cut open.
Put 1 trickle vent in and called it a day! Took photos to get paid and won't come back.
They promised decorating and haven't turned up for that either.
No one will answer the phone or emails.
The most awful company I've ever come across. As long as they're getting paid they don't care. I wish I'd taken the reviews in and not believed the manager when he said they'd sorted the problems out. They haven't. They just get new staff in and start a new job and tell them a load of rubbish as well.
AVOID!!!!

This company did an ECO4 refit of our cottage, including internal wall insulation, airsource heatpump and radiators/plumbing and solar panels+inverter.
The pros: very nice, friendly workers, everyone helpful and polite with a positive attitude. The heating and solar system are working fine so far.
The solar panels were put up very haphazard, all wonky and look unsightly.

The drawbacks: Their sales team will make all sorts of wonderful promises to get you to sign, but once the work is underway the other department will quickly claim that the company made no such promises and you feel short-changed. Of the 6 bonus things I was promised, only 3 actually appeared.
Also I was assured the work would all be done in two weeks, but things were still not right after 4 weeks (various issues). All done after 5 weeks in the end.
But this fully working system finally appeared mostly because I spent hours and hours badgering their office with emails and phone messages, so you need to be very proactive and keep a good eye on the work each day and check up on everything. I also had to put in about 15 hours of work fixing broken things and redecorating, which they should have done really.
Overall, I think not worse than most other companies doing these eco4 installs and better than some, but the final job was definitely not done to the expected standard.

Hi, I have been waiting since May 2022 for this company EnergySmart to come around and complete the unfinished work, bad workmanship which needs correcting they are a bad and disgusting company who do not care about their customers and there is no way they should be allowed to trade they are just full of inexperienced trades they are full of empty promises with plenty of bull!
The loft insulation they placed in my loft just goes down the middle of my loft as at the front and back of my house in the loft they stop about 4/5 foot with no loft insulation in this area of my loft which just means in the bedrooms with the radiators being on the external walls the heat just goes straight out of my loft and out of the roof, and the plastic packaging which wraps the loft insulation before they open from new they have placed this under the loft insulation which is not great for health and safety!
The extractor fans they have put in the kitchen and downstairs shower room are still not wired up to the mains plus they have not put in an extractor fan in the upstairs bathroom yet still waiting!
They have put damaged window sills in four rooms upstairs and in three of the rooms the window sills do not butt up to the window frames about an inch short with a canal filled up with mastic it is so ugly.
The plastering is not a great finish around the windows and my French doors is the worse you buried my door frame as the foam plasterboard comes far too low onto my door frame. There is a 10mm difference from the top of door frame with the 4-inch-wide plasterboard you have put in which slopes outwards at the bottom when I tried to put in my skirting board level with a Mitre joint the gap is so big you can fit your fingers in the gap between the skirting board and the wall that I had to give up on this for the moment and I have the same 10mm difference problem on some of the plastering around the windows. Very unlevel plastering on the walls, and on one wall they will need to knock off the plaster and do it again. You can see the angle beading around the windows which is very unlevel plastering that reminds me of the Atlantic Ocean full of waves out of plum/Square with no straight lines it is an absolutely terrible finish.
These are just some of the problems I am having with this company. I will now have to go down the legal route now and seek out what my options are now
as I now give up contacting them as they are full of lies once again! So please whoever reads my review do not go to this company. You will be so disappointed that it will just fill you with despair and worry and anger at the way they treated you and your home. It will drive you mad as the customer service is terrible, they give you a date when they will come round and sort out the problems so you wait all day yet no one comes round they have done this to me a few times now! they don't return your phone calls as they say someone will contact you and most of the time no one answer your phone call it just keeps ringing and when you try to leave a message on their answer machine you get a message telling you the messages are full and there is no room for you to leave a message on their answer machine, I mean what does that tell you! Keep your distance and do not go to this company if you know what is good for you! Sorry for the long review but I just do not want anybody else to suffer with this company you have been warned!

AVOID!!! Over 3 months and Still trying to get a completion date for work. They have left us with unfinished work, poor craftsmanship, damaged / lost property, no heating and the worst customer service. The stress we have had last 3 months, they shouldn’t be allowed to trade.
Update -they came out to correct bad workmanship. Still not great. Over a year since initial review and they never finished the job or sorted heating.

Don't have this Govement scheme company Use another company They are full of excuses and leave your house unfinished Don't go there please I wouldn't want you having the stress we got in our own home Its disgusting company

Very professional left my house very clean and alit warmer intact the house was cleaner when they left than when they came in wonderfull people who entered my property to do this work thanks alit would 100 percent recommend 👍 Craig
