I have had this phone account since 2010 and am very satisfied. It covers our needs when we travel to Europe and we only pay when we use it. This new update to have a US number as well as the international number will only make it easier to use.

When I recently received my two EuroBuzz phones, I was supplied with a SIM Pin and info that stated: "You can use your SIM PIN to protect your SIM card from unauthorized use. Refer to your handset's user guide for details." I had called before my purchase and asked what protection I would have if my phone was stolen and I wasn't told about the SIM PIN. So, pleasantly surprised about the added security, I tried to find instructions on changing the PIN from the generic one provided. The supplied "quick start guide" had none and stated that I should go to the user manual at samsung.com for more info. Couldn't find the manual at samsumg.com, but using a Google search I found it! (Also got it from from Customer Service, but after I thought of doing a Google search.) Trouble is that it had only the info in the "quick start guide." As a "mature" person, I sparingly use my U.S. cell phone, but I trudged ahead with the menu on the phone and figured out how to change my PIN. Could have saved a lot of wasted time if the instructions from EuroBuzz had been more accurate. Also, the info with the phones clearly states that the phones can't be used in the U.S. because of limited frequencies on the phones. I don't remember reading this in the EuroBuzz info online. But, even if I missed it, how am I to try my phone before leaving home? Despite these inconveniences, I'm generally pleased with what I received. I'll update this review after returning from a trip where I can actually use the phones.

Bought the basic service for a recent trip to Norway and Sweden. Was concerned about coverage in the mountains of Norway but we had no problem. Setup was simple and I really like just paying for what I use; no contracts, pre-payments without refund of unused amounts. Reception was great; I think it was even better than my regular service in the states. I highly recommend this service.

I like that I can pay as I go rather than having to pay for a month and not use the full amount.

Got this phone for a trip to Europe a few years ago; had some initial trouble using it 'cause it's a bit 'old school'. But the Support was very good. I am off to Europe again soon and they sent me a new SIM card - very speedily when I told them about the need for the new card pronto. Fingers crossed it all goes well on the other side of the 'pond'!

We used Eurobuzz 3 years ago for a trip to Italy. Now our daughter is traveling to England, and will use the same phone. We got the new SIM card with the USA & UK numbers within days of calling Eurobuzz to update. We appreciate the peace of mind that a dependable phone will bring.

My Eurobuzz phone arrived very quickly just as promised. I called Customer Service with a couple of questions before traveling and they were very helpful. I had a little trouble using my phone when I was on travel...but I'm very low-tech and I finally was able to figure out how to use it. I'm happy that I had this phone while I was traveling because I needed to use it.

Simple to operate and user friendly

Purchased Euro buzz for our daughter who is traveling to Greece in a couple of weeks.

Just returned from Europe and the phone was used for calling ahead to hotels and making restaurant reservations. The straightforward contract, simple phone, and simple dialing really enhanced our travel experience.

I like the small sized phone. The US and Europe number make it easy and free for my friends and relatives in the USA to contact me while in Europe. The fact that my incoming texts are free allows me to only respond to important messages, thereby saving costs.

Bought a Eurobuzz phone for UK trip - good price, easy purchase process, decent phone. Particularly like having both a US & UK number programmed into phone. Already recommended to several friends who have now also bought from this company. Would have liked an option for free shipping. Haven't traveled yet, so not sure what quality the calls will be, but we only plan on using it for emergencies.

Eurobuzz was recommended to me by a friend who's daughter was traveling around Europe. I did not want to bring my smartphone over, with fear of data charges and it getting lost, so this seemed like the perfect fit. The website walked me through all of my questions easily, it was extremely affordable, and it also included a complementary international travel adapter pack! I have been pleased with my purchase thus far and would recommend it to any travelers on a budget!

I am not used to using my own cell phone very much, and getting used to using this new phone was really scary for me. My calls to the support line were answered promptly, and I got all the info I needed in an easy to understand manner. I am thankful for this service as I am making an unexpected visit to Italy to visit my grandmother who is very ill.
