Having never moved before, I didn’t know where to start when looking for removals for my elderly grandmother who would be moving home. Emma contacted me after I entered my details into a comparison site. Several other companies got in touch with me, however FA Removals stood out (positively) and I think this was because Emma’s first message to me reflected professionalism and warmth. The process was pretty seamless, they had someone from the team sent out on the same day to have a look around and give us an accurate quote. We found the price they gave to be reasonable, and my Nan said the gentleman that came round was very pleasant, so we booked in the next morning (2 days before moving). I was really grateful that they were able to book us in at such short notice, and completely understood when they told me their only slot was afternoon (2pm onwards / TBC). This seemed to suit us just fine as we were under the impression that we had time to move our things out that day (we were wrong about this, because of poor communication from our estate agent, but that’s a different story!)

On the day of moving, we were under immense pressure because we had just been told we had to be out by 1pm. I called the office and Brie dealt with my enquiry. She advised that the team’s ETA was now 5pm because of delays from previous moves. As you can imagine I was quite shocked and extremely distressed because I did have 2pm in mind and the buyers were on their way, however in their defence it was always made clear that this was an estimate and could change on the day. From that point on, Brie did everything she could to help. She was extremely calm, reassuring, considerate and sympathetic to our situation. She also dealt with a difficult call from our buyer when she turned up at our door and didn’t take our word that removals had been delayed! She kept in contact and continuously reminded me that she was there if we needed anything in the meantime. Paul and Alex arrived at 4:30pm and were equally pleasant and did a great job. How they managed to fit all of our stuff into one 3.5t in one trip I have no clue! They are truly skilled. They also removed our washing machine for us at no extra charge which we were super grateful for.

Overall, I am so pleased that we went with FA Removals and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again. A special thank you to Brie for being such a calming influence on a day of absolute chaos.

I was really distressed about my recent house move as my husband was abroad. I had the friendliest Estimator come the day after my initial quote request. They were the cheapest. More importantly though, they were THEE best removal company I could ever have used. From admin who kept in touch with me throughout to the AMAZING guys who did the heavy moving. Not a single scuff mark on any wall. Not a scratch to my furniture, nor one broken fragile item. I honestly couldn’t have asked for any better service!! Thank you MOST sincerely FA Removals. God alone knows moving house is stressful and hard work, but FA Removals made the actual move as easy as possible for us. From the arrangements with Brie and Gemma, through packing with Paul, then loading with JJ, and then finally the delivery with George and the guys, FA were spot on! Moving a 4 bed house over 200 miles is not for the faint-hearted! Highly recommended!

Great moving experience (or as great as a move can be). We have used FA Removals now for a couple of moves and always found that they are friendly, helpful and professional. They have also consistently been the best price we could find. We have also had a lovely experience with Brie on the admin side who is very responsive and incredibly helpful in setting things up.

A huge thank you to the whole team for excellent customer service from start to finish with this process. The guys who moved us were amazing, so friendly and patient. Also, not phased at all by the number of stairs. I can't believe how much there was to move, but they took it in their stride and did a great job, they didn't complain once. I would recommend to anyone, they were excellent. Thank you!

The guys worked really hard, moved heavy stuff upstairs without a lift and never complained. It was a tricky move and they did a great job for us.

We used FA removals to move from a storage facility into our new home and to say the boys were amazing is an understatement. All costs and timings were made clear from the start so there were no surprises. A professional company and would definitely recommend.

From initial contact to closing the door on the empty van, we’d like to thank the team for all their help during our recent move. The WhatsApp conversations were especially helpful as Debbie answered any of my questions quickly and efficiently without needing too many phone conversations. Thanks to Eddie for accurately assessing everything and saving us £200, and for knowing it would all fit in one van! The chaps who came on the moving day, arrived early and were hard workers who took care with our belongings and were happy to listen to my directions of where everything went (especially the boxes I hadn’t had time to label). They also stayed away from the room I’d popped the cat into and were patient and kind to our “helpful” toddler too. FA removals really took a big chunk of stress out of our move, which we certainly appreciate.

Have now used FA Removals - few times over last few years. Staff are very friendly helpful and accommodating. Costs are reasonable and their attention to care is excellent. Can’t praise them enough.

The move went really smoothly. The team was really proactive and highly responsive before the move day helping with all questions and specific requirements. On the day the team was very professional and experienced and helped us to move in a very efficient way. No issues what so ever and would use them again anytime!

FA Removals were great for start to finish, including excellent customer service when offering a quote and selecting dates/times up to the delivery date itself.

We had such a fantastic experience with this company. We can't praise them enough. From the polite and friendly admin staff (Brie) who booked us in for a free no obligation home visit, to the expertise of the surveyor who arrived. We had our quotation back the very next day. We then were waiting for other quotes to come back to compare. FA stood out by a mile. Their quote was the most competitive and there were no hidden cost which was a breath of fresh air.

Our move was over 3 days with packing on day one, loading day 2 and redelivery on the 3rd day.

The team arrived really early and packaged everything nicely.
On Day 2 they dismantled our baby grand piano and moved our antique furniture with ease.
On day 3 they reassembled everything and our piano is still perfectly tuned.

Their aftercare was spot on too - just a phone call to check in on us to see how we were settling in really meant a lot.

All in all a terrific experience and I would highly recommend this company if you're looking for a professional company.
