My first-generation Google Pixel Watch was accidentally dropped from lap-height but even a fall of less than one metre was enough to wreck it.
It was a surprising disappointment to not be resilient for such a small fall, and given the other choices such as smartrings flourishing on the market, I assumed the watch was history.

As I understand things; not even Google repair any of their smartwatches - they only replace devices under warranty but after that you’re out in the cold for support.
Only by chance did I encounter the fixscreens.co.uk site but even then my assumption was a repair would at best be uneconomical.

Fixscreens set a fixed-fee which is quite reasonable considering it is a total package: once I sent my busted smartwatch to them then they adhered to their stated processes (fixscreens.co.uk ... how-it-works)

Communication was prompt and straightforward during engagement, with all updates arriving in a timely fashion. It only took them two or three days, and even return costs are included - RoyalMail’s Tracked 24 at that.

As for the parts: my screen was replaced and it now looks indiscernible from when I bought my smartwatch new. Good job !
I should say that Fixscreens threw-in a spare strap plus a screen-protector along with my returned watch, as a thank-you for me offering a reviewing.
Happily I wish to share my experience onto TrustPilot because Fixscreens provided a key service and great work, so it is important that genuine reviews are captured.

Their sister websites offer straps, protectors and screens for several smart devices.
My personal experience has revealed that substitute components can be applied to OEM hardware without any apparent compromise to form & function. The Pixel Watch replacement silicone straps seem as identical in quality as the original part, and have the same smooth luxurious feel that my watch was first purchased with - not some questionable cheapo feel which seems all too prevalent these days.
I kinda wonder whether the parts from Fixscreens are merely resourced from the OEM place that Google used in the first place, because they seem so similar.

If you have an old or damaged smartwatch then I suggest giving serious consideration to having these guys sort you out; they even indicated that if my watch was unserviceable once a new display was fitted, that they could return the watch without charge.
That was a confidence-builder in my instance 😀

My Gopro 11 back screen got smashed so i needed it replaced.

I emailed Fix Screens and they replied with in an hour answering the queries i had.

It was posted and recieved the next day. They said it could be a 4-5 day turnaround but i came back early and it is working like new and you wouldn't know that the screen has been fixed.

I will definately use Fixscreens again and would reccommend them to anyone needing a Go Pro screen replacement. Very proffesional and always in communication throughout the process. 5 out of 5 for service and quality of job.

Emailed fix screens to get a quick response & details of the repair. They emailed once it arrived then carried out the screen replacement on my Garmin watch in less than 3 day. I was emailed to say it had been repaired & was due for despatch back to me. The watch lokk as good as new. Really pleased with the service

About a year ago - sept 2024, my Garmin 245 screen had gone peculiar, showing just a load of horizontal lines. Fixscreens replaced with a new screen which looks very smart and makes watch look like new. I emailed some questions before placing the order, to get a feel for the company. I received a full and helpful reply the same day. The price seemed very reasonable (I see it is now £5 cheaper), considering cost of a new screen and the expertise for fitting. A free screen protector was offered for me to stick on - I think that has been very worth while as I have not been particularly gentle with the watch. It is now July 2025 and the repair has stood test of time. I have no hesitation in recommending these chaps to fix your smart watch. They deserve to do well.

Super fast and really responsive. I was gutted to break the screen of my Garmin Edge, went into panic mode as I have an Ironman round the corner. The team gave me the confidence to get it fixed and in a quick turn around.

They delivered and I tested the device last night and it works perfectly, if not even better than before!

I was given the option of a new strap and a screen protector which I took up for both. Both additions were excellent.
