The worst company I have ever worked for in 42 years of my working life. Poor pay, poor hours, treated like something you'd scrape off the sole of your shoe. No wonder G4S clients are unhappy with the levels of service. Definitely a last resort sort of employer.

Avoid at all costs. This company is not responsive and has completely ignored multiple calls to simply do the job they were hired to do. It's near impossible to get through to anyone and our entire department's requests have been met with what can only be described as apathy.

outright racist organisation only employes people of certain colour!

You cannot contact HR for anything
They get your pay wrong all the time
You have to do everything for the managers
No career growth just a pawn for 4 years and nothing else to show for it
Does not matter how hard you work you are nothing to this company.
They are still using ancient tech from 1965
When the ancient tech breaks down they blame our internet connection

If I could give no stars then I gladly would.
The call centre staff don’t even try to help you, and do not listen. I have lost count how many times I’ve called them and tried to get them to help and understand how important this is to me.
I have even tried emailing them with an official written complaint with details of what that complaint is about and their complete and utter failure as a company to do even the basics.

Absolute nightmare , 4 hours later and still saying no1 available. Bedbound adult, Incontinent, open to infection sat in wheelchair and might be another 2 hours waiting . And all I get is sorry

Terrible company - unjustifiably threw my father and I out of a concert as some woman made an accusation that we pushed her during an AC/DC concert at the Murrayfield. Been to 30 plus of their concerts and never once had any issues.

Absolute terrible company. Was paying for alarm monitoring and when alarm was triggered they weren’t even connected to the system and only found out from neighbour. Couldn’t believe it after being told all was set up and could to go. When I rang they said couldn’t refund as was in terms even though i got no service. was led to believe we had monitoring and security in place. An absolute disaster on the phones too

If I could have scored minus five I would have. This is a multi national company that doesn’t even answer its main switchboard so what hope is there if they can’t get even the absolute basics right.
I won’t go into the details of my enquiry to them but suffice to say someone will probably end up getting killed if their employees actions go unchecked. After two days trying to contact them without success I’m not even going to try again. If I was the Chief Executive or a director of this company I’d be ashamed to admit it….its just amateur hour from what I’ve seen.

Dreadful dreadful, dreadful company.
Think when you call to book they must get bonus for how nasty and loud they speak to patients booking transport. Plus they are never on time and dont treat you as human in need of a little TLC

They were supposed to deliver a bankers draft. Weeks passed. No delivery.
Our solicitor went to collect it - they couldn’t find the ‘authorised’ staff to access it. Then they couldn’t find it. Then they claimed they tried to deliver it - complete lie.
This company is lazy. Ineffective and a total disaster.
Avoid them. They’re shockingly bad.

This company employs some of the worst miscreants around, they are abusive, rude and aggressive. Do not use G4S for your business.

Deadbeat Losers.

From the start of our contract we had nothing but problems, not turning up to collect banking when requested on numerous occasions and when requesting cancellation of our delivery service only, they cancelled the collection too even when not requested. The customer portal doesn't work so you have to ring them and even then the employees get it wrong. Completely unreliable service, not fit for purpose and definitely not good for your business.

worst security service on the planet! They lie also.

I find the service amazing. So helpful, pleasant, yet always professional.
I've never not been satisfied with the service and count myself lucky to have it. I think they have to put up with a lot, not all patients are pleasant and give them a hard time even it the traffic is bad. I have only praise for all of them.

If I could leave zero stars I would. If you are thinking about joining G4S on a contract basis.....don't. They have the no integrity, despite it being a core value apprently. They promise you the world, until you are in then bit by bit things crop up... such as Employer's NI you pay that. Holiday pay (yep they deduct that even if you agree otherwise). Then there's ligitmate business expenses... all approved but not paid months later. Fixed term contract they said, great I said. The terminate giving 24 hrs notice.

I acceot on my part I should hve done more due diligence. Reading some earlier comments on Trustpilot would have been enough to sound the alarm bells. However, I thought I was dealing with a business and people with some integrity. I've dealt with some shady people in the past but these guys are professional shysters.

Think long and hard and get everything that's inportant in writing before you agree to work with G4S, in any capacity. Better still, for peace of mind walk away. There are many, MANY more scrupulous businesses worthy of your time than G4S

Probably the easiest job to get in terms of interview. After that if you can get checked out then you're guarenteed a job as a safety steward - after you've contacted the personel officer several times. With hindsight the interview was far too easy and I was struck how many people in the company are sadly unemployable. You're supposed to be keeping an eye on the crowd at events but to many stewards are far too busy on their phones and can't seem to understand simple orders. Remember we're talking about peoples' safety here. Mindful of this some of the rugby events I attended had an entirely different security company running security.

Another problem I had is if you're on a zero hours contract with G4S then there's no way you're going to get enough hours to live on. In theory there's enough work advertised to keep you ticking over - such as ensuring safety standards are kept to on a building site which might come to over 40 hours a week - but you won't be selected for these jobs unless your SIA trained so don't waste your time

Want to terminate appalling service from G4s, only to be told we cannot terminate for at least 5 months, and we still have to pay for their non service, are they really this short of money!!!!
