Had en easy process getting what was initially quoted and had help from the customer service instantly!

These people are a scam and try to rip you off. I sent them my laptop which was purchased a month ago BRAND NEW and I erased the entire software and all the passwords. The value amount showed $598 but when I paid $16 in packaging to ship it to them they sent me an email saying it was worth $0 and claimed that there was a password on it and it wasn’t brand new. Not only that but they only communicate with you through text message or chat which they never responded to. So I texted them and they were extremely unprofessional and tried to argue with me. If I don’t get my device back from them, there will be legal action!

Used Gadget Salvation to sell a laptop and avoid all the problems of meeting with people and probably being scammed. They ended up giving me $50 less than the quoted price claiming battery use and minor wear (although my computer wasn't damaged). I didn't really want to fight about that, since I would have to pay that money had they shipped it back, so I just agreed. They were pretty quick to send my money, though (I used Chase).
Overall, it wasn't too bad.

Was quoted $107 and they got back to me and only offered $12. Same feeling you get when you have that shady mechanic trying to get more out of you. Would not recommend. I should also note that the condition of my item in my opinion is not what is described by Gadget Salvation because that was not the condition when I sent it to them. I’m not a computer genius but I know what a unresponsive keyboard is. I wanted to make that clear since they commented on my review. Doesn’t really change anything that they replied to my review. Still questionable actions by them.

I tried to trade in my Mac, and I was okay with the results of the report. I however was not okay with the condition I received my computer back in. There was now a crack on my charger and 2 gashes on the computer. That is just not right.

Everything seems to have worked out smoothly. Went to website, printed shipping label, packaged, sent and a few weeks later I had the money. I didn't get as much as I had hoped but it was a laptop with no power cord, pretty old, and no password. Better than nothing as it was just sitting in garage collecting dust.

I highly recommend this site. Seems to be on the up-and-up.
