Got really great value for money on their costume jewelry lots and the order was fulfilled quickly by Leighanne, who was excellent to deal with throughout the entire process. Highly recommend this auction house.

Since moving to St Anne’s 10 years ago I’ve been visiting and buying from Gerrards everything from jewellery to china, furniture and glass. All in all a very pleasant auction house with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It would have been 5 stars but viewing is one day only (pretty sure it used to be two days) and doesn’t open until 11:00. Good value for money.

The item was excellent and sent extremely quickly, though let down by excessive postage costs (£32 for a package that cost £6 to post).
Recommended, but brace yourself if you want it posted!

I have bought around 10 items from Gerrards and enquired about many dozens and having bought from numerous auction houses Gerrards is always in the top five for description of items, response to queries and prompt shipping. Great auction houses!

My lot wasn’t fragile but it was packed as if it were. It was packed very securely with lots of bubble wrap. The outer box was extremely well secured and it took a while to get into it! Well done Carole!

The whole process of buying and selling is just very straight forward as long as you understand the pricing policy

On the viewing day there were plenty of people on hand to assist and in particular Carole was very patient as ever.

A couple of things which I think may help … have the lot numbers showing in the cases to speed up viewing and the provision of a customer toilet.

Visited the auction event in Inverness this morning. Didn't know what to expect as this was our first experience but it went so smoothly. We were impressed with Simon's professionalism and the way he dealt with the various items we had taken along - silver and gold jewellery, watch and costume jewellery. We had a figure in mind and we were really pleasantly surprised when Simon exceeded this with his offer for the items he wished to buy. Would definitely recommend.

I recently met with Simon at a valuation event in Haddington. He was warm, easy going and knowledgeable and I was impressed with the amount of money offered for all of my jewellery. The whole experience was professional and thoroughly enjoyable.

This was our second visit, I had a small amount of items which I got a good amount for. Also took my mother in law along and she was delighted with what she got for her items!!
