I would have never gotten my degree if it wasn't for this application. I have used it for about 5 years and have nothing bad to say about it. The non-subscription, one time payment system is refreshing and well worth it. When one time I stumbled upon a bug that allowed me to bypass the system, Felix quickly responded to my email, was obviously genuinely interested in fixing the problem and did shortly after. When I reset my computer a couple of months ago, and totally forgot until after that the activation key for Cold Turkey was on my university email, which no longer exists because I graduated, I gladly bought another license. I could probably have emailed Felix, but after so many years, the guy deserves some extra bucks from me. Buy it. It will make you a better person.

This is the best app i used so far. Simple, concise and it actually works. Also cheap.

You can limit your time on an specific website (and it actually works). You can set a blocking calendar. You can permanently block certain websites.

Where do I start... I use ColdTurkey now for 6 months... And I was looking for a computer equivalent of another blocker I had installed on my smartphone.

I can tell that ColdTurkey is very bulletproof. Tampering with the settings becomes impossible when a block is active. Screens will close or show a cold turkey page when you try to enter a blocked application or website.

There is just no one coming close to ColdTurkey in turns of computer blockers. Not one being so user friendly and tamper safe.

And the support team immediately helped me through mail. They made sure to follow up on mail and helped me to solve the issue I had eventually.

This is an amazing app that I've been using for years. I felt like leaving a review to support the developer, who has always been great at responding to emails I've had with any questions or issues. I really appreciate that he offers one time purchase instead of subscription and I think it's fairly priced, especially for how much work he has put in. I don't know how I would live without this app, thanks Felix!

Cold Turkey Blocker now costs double what it was when I first used it a couple of years ago. In addition, coupons are no longer offered unless you're a student. The price hike is consumer unfriendly and I will have to think about continuing my support of this app.

Easy setup and I love all the included lists of websites. You can block porn, distractions, news, movies and videos, games, and a variety of other things with a click of a button. Also, the scheduled blocks are easy to set up and really help a lot. Great customer service and everything was thought of. For example, the cold turkey website has a built-in timer to make sure that you can't disable the program.
