I paid for the full test kit x 2 every…
I paid for the full test kit x 2 every 6 months because the reviews looked quite positive. The blood test was quick and efficient, the third party rang me and arranged an appointment for the next day. I got my results back about a week later. They tested alot of different things which was useful and I think good for money. My DNA results took about 2 weeks and I thought the results were interesting but could have more content as it didn’t tell me much. I sent my biome test on the 7th October and didn’t hear back until the 4th November which seems like a looong time. I’ve done a gut test before and results were about 14 days with a clear detailed video report from a doctor. These were the results I was most anticipating so it was a pain to wait so long to see what was going on in my gut. Customer service reply to emails quite quickly but wish they could give a more accurate date of when I’d be getting the results, they just said latest by 4th Nov. I’m taking the stride daily supplement which I got for free and I would repurchase this, it’s got all the vitamins I need in a sachet and easy to drink. It’s the 7th now and I’m still waiting for my video consult or report from someone not sure what it’s supposed to be but haven’t heard anything (this should be available as soon as all of the results are). Slightly annoyed I purchased the double kit as I don’t think the biome kit gave me the everything I needed to know, wasn’t very detailed and would probably have purchased a different one. Think the taxonomic data is pretty useless but wouldn’t know because no-one’s spoken to me about it. Just needs some work overall so will see again in 6 months!
***update 11th November added a star as my consultation with Bianca was very helpful and I have more direction now***

Life-Changing Insight Everyone Should Know

I decided to do the Stride Optimal DNA & Methylation test after repeatedly showing deficiencies that didn’t make sense. The mouth swab was quick and simple, the kit arrived fast, and results came back in just 8 working days.
The online portal and PDF break everything down clearly in plain English. Nomsa, the nutritionist, was incredible- her depth of knowledge is unmatched. She explained everything thoroughly, advised on supplements and really took the time to talk through my results and listen to queries.
The level of detail in this test is the reason I chose stride. Now I know which forms of nutrients my body actually absorbs, how to supplement preventatively instead of guessing, and how to proactively support my health to reduce the risk of conditions I’m genetically predisposed to.

I found stride while looking for a UK…
I found stride while looking for a UK based methalation test , I looked through their vast website , and found the email contact address , emailed and got talking to one of their collegues , once the test was booked , it took just a couple of days to arrive , the next day it was returned and then around a 10 day wait for the results.
I did need some help figuring out what I needed and booked a consultation , once I gained the insight to what I needed it is all plain and simple .
Really helpfull and knowlegeable staff.

You don’t know what you don’t know
I’ve been having internal health issues for 3 years. GPs & NHS unable to get to root cause. I’d been guessing at my diet and supplements. I’d taken a private blood test (not Stride) & after much research discovered the role of genetics & MTHFR issues. Now after my personalised report & chat with the Stride dietitian… I’ve got a plan. It may not work but anything is worth a try. I wish I’d taken the Stride blood test first but you don’t know what you don’t know!

I found it very interesting finding out what my body needed and what it wouldn't absorb. Looking into a range of conditions etc.
I had a free consultation after with a very knowledgeable lady who helped me to understand my body. Really worth doing. Now ordering some vitamins that my body needs rather than taking a range of them.

I think my consultant Nomsa was lovely, knowledgeable, and helpful. She gets 5 stars for me.
Overall though, I would take a star away from the website thought as I do wish Stride the Company through the website would consolidate the findings to provide a quick summarized list of foods and supplements to eat and use specific to my data to make it easier to follow everything. I find it frustrating I need to take the AI notes and drop them into Notebook LM to try and get a summarized list. It would be better if Stride's website would take my data and create the food and supplement list to ensure it is correct and all my information is in one area.
