Clear communication on pricing and payment

Easy to manage service with online form, delivery label and sending off package was simple process. What is unfortunate is the difference between gadget payment estimate and actual payment- seemed massively off and out of range for an item accurately described

Paid someone else and have refused to acknowledge and resolve it, even though a clear email trail showing they messed up.

This was after a week of chasing to try and get a payment for a reduced price before this.

No reply to emails or social media messages. Scam company, DO NOT IsE

Stolen phone. I sent my phone to them with an order number and a postal label they provided. The phone was delivered by royal mail and I have a notification and proof gogreen gadgets also collected the parcel. I have not been paid since (sent phone beginning of sept) they are not holding any accountability and are blaming royal mail. Do not trust this company. They keep ignoring my emails. Royal mail tracking number is ZS366203727GB

The company lost my device (even though I could see it was collected). And then they ignored my emails for weeks before they told me that they would report it as missing to Royal Mail. Fast forward 3 months and I finally got half the value of my device… and was made to feel like I should be grateful to receive anything… even though they have my device. Basically had to email daily to get any response. Think they thought I’d just forget and give up.
I’d used them once in the past a few years ago and had an OK experience but after this time, I would absolutely NOT recommend at all.

It was a fast turnaround payment after delivery

I wouldnt use this company again. Saw mixed reviews on here but decided to give the benefit of the doubt.
First of all, I sent my phone away which took 3 days for it to arrive with them (they claim 24 hour/next day service but my phone sat waiting to be collected by them).
Secondly, I was originally quoted £370 for my phone and upon receiving my phone they then said they would only offer £60 which I declined then they offered £75 which I declined and asked them to return the phone. They then offered £150 and again I declined and said I would accept no less than £250 and they came back with £240.
Finally I accepted the offer as above as I couldnt be bothered with the hassle of it being sent back but I am now over a week later and still without payment despite multiple emails to chase! Apparently I should hear from the finance team by 5pm on Tuesday and we are now 3 business days later with no payment!

Avoid!!

Have to say a lot of these 1 star reviews are pretty much spot on with the experience I had also.

Sent a phone in with the belief of getting around the ball park of £115 because it was faulty and I was totally aware of that they managed to drop it £75 because battery usage which is free to get replaced by apple and a little chip in the corner. Faulty says craxked screens etc was worth of £115 so not sure how they’ve justified £75 drop. Also they are vey quick to test the phone and constantly remind you to send it and ask but when it comes to payment you have to wait 6-7 days later? Not good enough and like the others i wont be using them again. Not worth the hassle

Quick and Easy, second time using them and I’ve had no issues either times. Happy to use again!

Took a little time but all in all I had the money in 2 weeks , less than I expected but the phones were in a bad condition

It was easy to use and follow the steps

Sent off and processed pretty quickly. Had a few hiccups along the way but once I reached out and emailed someone got back to me the same day.

I sent my IPhone 15 to GoGreenGadgets after seeing the price they would offer online which was £70 higher than the price they quoted after receipt of the phone. They claimed there were scratches etc when the phone was actually in tempered glass screen protection and silicone case the whole time hence in great condition! Anyway, the price dropped after their review. I needed the money so l accepted the offer. This was last Monday 28 September. Since then I haven’t heard back from them nor received the money. I have emailed them several times (no response, just an automated email response) and even messaged on WhatsApp several times to be told that they don’t deal with the repayment side. Useless! To date I still have not received my money. I’m not sure I will now so they have just taken my phone. I will definitely not be using them in the future. Best to use a more reputable company even if they offer a bit less. Very disappointed and annoyed with GoGreenGadgets. Customer service is shambolic!

Absolutely was of time this company is. They like to scam you I sent in a perfect iPhone 16 pro with no issues at all as this was already checked out by the EE techs,
The quote was for £570 but when they had received my phone the technicians had supposedly found a fault with the speaker saying it was muffled. They then offered me £400 so I was not happy with that, knowing that the phone had previously been fully checked by EE and it was perfect.

Anyway after email back and forth we came to a price I was happy to take rather that messing around, brilliant so I thought after receiving the last email it stated that I will receive another email from the financial department to sort out the pay just after 5pm but never received one. To my surprise I emailed them and it was an out of office reply saying they hours are 9am - 4:30pm even though it is on the website saying 9am till 5pm.

I received an email the following morning we’re again a few emails back and forth to be told I will be paid within 5 working days after being led to believe it was say day payment from the facebook advertising THIS IS NOT THE CASE. It is Only same day payment processing in total there was 30 emails sent between us and I only received my payment 6 working days later.

Not good enough as it was more stressful trying to sort it out. Will not use them again please keep clear if you don’t want to be messed around. And I have now discovered that there is a facebook group with all the issues other people are having or had for this company too called Go Green Gadgets Scams/Atrocities

Was easy to do and didn’t take long to process. Sent the phone, showing the QR code they did everything else! Would definitely use again.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Go Green Gadgets is running a textbook bait-and-switch operation. I sent them a completely flawless, spotless phone originally quoted at £235. Once they had my property hostage, they slashed the offer to a pathetic £160. When I asked them to review the fake valuation, they suddenly bumped it to £180, inventing a completely fabricated lie that the "earpiece was faulty" just because they couldn't find a single actual scratch on it. They move the goalposts to rob sellers.
It gets worse. I reluctantly accepted their £180 insult on Monday, 28th September, and they instantly vanished into total silence. No payment was sent, and customer service completely abandoned me, passing the buck to a "finance department" that systematically ignored my emails.
I had to threaten them with a formal legal Notice of Action today just to get a basic response from their elusive finance team claiming payment has finally been processed. I will not delete or change this 1-star review until every single penny of the £180 is physically cleared in my account. Disgraceful, untrustworthy, and predatory business practices. ⭐ My experience with Go Green Gadgets

Unfortunately, my experience with Go Green Gadgets has been extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, the service was nowhere near what I expected from the way the website presents the business.

When you initially search for your device on their website, the estimated price they show can look really appealing. However, once my phone was actually assessed, the final offer was nowhere near the amount originally indicated. They listed various problems with the phone that I personally knew were not issues with the device when I sent it in.

Yes, you are given the option to reject the offer and have your phone returned, but at that point you are left having to trust that your phone will actually be returned and that it will come back in the same condition you sent it in.

The communication was another major issue. I had to wait two weeks to receive my payment, and despite repeatedly emailing and chasing for an update, I mainly received automated responses. It wasn’t until I stated that I was considering taking the matter further legally that I finally received an actual response from someone.

Overall, the whole experience has left me feeling very disappointed and frustrated. The price initially advertised, the final valuation, the communication and the payment delay were all very different from what I expected.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this service reads the terms carefully and thinks twice before sending their device away. This is based entirely on my own experience with the company.
