I had a vaccination appointment with nurse Karen in the Birmingham Bullring location. She was so lovely and understanding, talked me through everything patiently, answered all my questions in depth and was just overall friendly and helpful. The vaccination process itself was also so easy!

Professional, very pleasant and helpful.

Easy to book blood test online, less expensive than other providers and altogether convenient. Staff on arrival were charming and good humoured. Only comment is that the phlebotomist was inexperienced and a bit too informative about how difficult she found it when my veins were hard to find. She did perfectly but the commentary made me unnecessarily anxious. I totally recommend Superdrug.

The nurse went through all the advice relevant for my trip, with clear and well researched answers to all my questions. We agreed which vaccinations I needed and I was able to have two of them straight away - seamless.

Lisa the nurse was super helpful and reassuring , she administered my vaccination expertly and explained everything I needed to know re health on my travels. Holly

Blood Tests ... is this new to their offer?
I've not used a SD health clinic before, but know they've done travel / vaccinations for a long time.
I needed a blood test done privately and the clinics came up when I googled for the service.
Booking was relatively easy, although the first time I searched I was directed to Solihull but when I went to book it wouldn't let me and redirected me to Coventry.
I booked and received my confirmation, neither of which took any note of WHICH blood test I wanted.
I assumed they'd collect this information in a pre-visit questionnaire so wasn't overly concerned.
I then received an email which indeed asked for this, but when I used the link and when I went to the website and logged in just took me to the booking page again, as if I hadn't actually made a booking.
This concerned me, so I emailed in, asking to confirm my booking and to make a note that it was the testosterone blood test I wanted ... 48hrs later I received an email (which further concerned me) saying they couldn't book the test by email, and sending me a link to the booking page!
So I resorted to hunting for a telephone number ... I got through to someone, explained my situation, I was told there was a "glitch" but its sorted now ... its not!
He took my details and supposedly added them to my booking, but the nurse couldn't see them when I arrived for my appointment.
The blood test wnet OK, but I was handed a package that I had to take to the post office that day - this hadn't been clear at the time of booking or before the blood was taken. Its a good job I could do that, otherwise it would have been wasted.
It didn't end there - we went to the till to pay, and they couldn't find it on the till system. After several people were involved they put it through on a special code, but not for the price on the website.
Checking the price for myself, I spotted in the small print that the test I'd booked / had was a fasting test ... luckily for me I had naturally fasted before the appointment - but at no point was this pointed out to me - not in booking, not in confirming the booking online, nor was it checked by the nurse before taking the bloods.

I am now waiting for the results - but my advice would be, really know what you're doing when you use this service OR wait till they've bedded it in more.

Donna and her team were really informative upon initial discussion of travel vaccinations linking to the countries I would be visiting.

Once I had decided, Donna was proactive to ensure the vaccines I wanted were in stock or ordered in if required. Across 3 appointments it was made clear what I was having, if I was still happy to proceed and how I was feeling in myself (before and after).

Would highly recommend the Superdrug Watford health clinic!

We used the Superdrug Health clinic in Cambridge centre for our two young boys. Poppy was great with them, patient and reassuring. I would definitely recommend people to use the clinic with her being the nurse.

Nurse Steve (Edinburgh Princes Streer) was excellent - knowledgeable, helpful and with a lovely friendly manner.
