1.  Not based in the UK.  Go to their website and look up the address, it's a tiny little office in a large office complex.  2.  They ship electric goods from a warehouse in the US that do not work in the UK without a transformer and don't tell you.  3.  Their "Help" department is not based in the UK. 4.  Look at all their responses here on Trustpilot for the negative reviews - "we cannot find your order", they lie. 5. While not a fake company they are the next best thing.  Avoid like the plague.  Better to shop at real UK based businesses or just use Amazon.  They are super slow, like 1970's slow.  Good luck everyone.

Product great and delivery good considering the item was shipped to the UK.

The item purchased is perfect, exactly what I hoped it would be. However I hadn't appreciated it was coming from the US so delivery took longer than exepected.
But still deighted with the product.

This company sells electrical equipment including light switches which are not rated for UK installation.

This is not made clear on the product pages, so BEWARE.

Ordered and it arrived eventually, although it was on their 3rd promised day. It took my very experienced handyman a while to put it up because it was all in individual pieces. Once together it looks good and seems to work. However - according to FedEx who delivered it I have to ay an additional £81.19 tax because the people who despatched it put a "tick in the box saying I would pay an USA-UK import taxes". The invoice I have clearly says UK delivery and a £7.95 delivery charge all of which was paid. This was their response "Regarding the duty and taxes, the company that sent this from the US have advised customs to charge the receiver which is yourself. Unfortunately we cannot remove this charge or reverse it back to them. This will need to be paid or customs will forward this to a debt collector once the deadline on it has passed. I can see you have advised you purchased this through a UK company and they are the ones that ordered it. They can also pay for this if they wish too". HomeLoft appear to have passed the order to another company. HomeLoft UK are telling me if I pay it, I can send them the receipt and they will refund it!!!!!! I've said no, they, or their unknown supplier, can pay FedEx direct. Also forget the phone connection, its hard wired with non UK Plugs.

Found an item that was not easily available in the uk, delivered quickly considering it came from the usa

The experience with Homeloft was disappointing. Although their advertising appears very promising, the actual service fell short. I had to wait longer than expected and repeatedly follow up to find out when my order would be delivered. Overall, their communication was misleading and did not meet expectations.

Other reviews are clearly fake. ordered and paid for a product one month ago, still not received. Emailed & called, seems like they have now blocked the number as an automated message says 'goodbye' when attempting to get through. find an alternative option on amazon.
