Your host Janet Hooper is amazing, if I didnt know better I would have thought she only hosts our property given the attention and care we receive (I believe she hosts over 60)!!

As good as it can get?
Taking into account how the system works (reporting, software, communications) and the hands-off income received I'm very satisfied.
Their budget, cookie-cutter cleaning model however is only suited to a mainstream apartment. If you have a property with a large well planted outdoor living area, I'd recommend you get a gardener to maintain it.

Perfect solution for home management
Hometime have made my experience seamless. Without them I wouldn’t have the success and extra income my home provides me. They manage and run my listing, keep me up to date and informed without me having to lift a finger. Everything is done for you and my guests are all happy. This is exactly what my busy schedule needed.

Consistence
Consistently I am getting guests for my listing except few lean periods. Everything is taken care of and the guests have no complaints. The only issue I have is that any deduction in my income, although valid , should have my prior approval

Hometime is not ethical and price gouges your bookings at the last minute
Hometime listed an airbnb property that we had booked over 6 months in advance. Just before our stay we reached out to make sure the booking was good to go, and they since cancelled the reservation and notified us the property was no longer available. They later relisted this property at 5x the price, and attempted to offer it back to us. I don't recommend Hometime to anyone, they are not ethical.
Hometime have lied to us about "acquiring the property from another management company", which is simply incorrect. They were listed as a co-host of the original booking and have ignored all bookings for this property, only to cancel and relist it significantly more expensive for the same dates.
In fact, the property owner got in contact and made us aware there are actually more than 30 other hometime bookings that have been negativly affected by their poor property management and negligence with this property alone.

Good strategies for solid returns
I've recently started with Hometime and in the past few months have found the strategies of bookings to be generally well managed. I am happy to put my trust in James and team to ensure good guests are staying at the house and for the dynamic systems to work with the ebbs and flows of seasonal demands. I look forward to seeing how it will all pan out in the following months.
