Initially a frustrating first experience, as my order didn’t arrive after a number of issues with the delivery company. However, after contacting the team, Karen was really helpful. She tried to locate my order, but after no success, within 24 hours she had arranged a delivery of a new order of coals with a different delivery company.

Relying on unreliable DHL
Can't comment on the charcoal itself, although I am sure it will be fine. The problem is that I don't have it yet--due to DHL delivery incompetence. Not my first problem with DHL...this is the last straw and I will no longer order from companies that use DHL for delivery. Not worth the hassle. Unfortunate.

I'm really sorry your experience didn't go as either of us would have hoped. I completely understand how frustrating delivery issues can be.
As soon as we became aware of the problem, we got in touch to discuss the available options. Unfortunately, we weren't able to recreate your original order as some of the charcoal species had since sold out, so we issued a full refund.
It's a real shame the courier issue meant you didn't get the opportunity to experience the charcoal itself, as that's the part we care most about.
