Good for men’s shirts but nothing expensive or delicate
Good for standard clothing like men’s shirts, but every time I send something more expensive or requiring more care I receive an email from ihateironing refusing to accept any responsibility for the item and only agreeing to dry clean the item if I accept full responsibility for any damage caused. I have recently sent some jeans to be tailored and received them back in the same condition with no explanation at all.
Convenient for easy cheap items but unfortunately not an alternative for a good high street dry cleaners or anything remotely expensive.

Disappointing experience, but they did make it right after I posted a review
Update: The company reached out to me and was willing to extend a credit for the amount that I had to pay to replace the damaged items. I'm still a little leery about using them for specialty things...these were items placed in a dry cleaning bag and they admitted they did not dry clean. So I will still use but will think twice about sending anything important to be cleaned.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! See side-by-side photos of the silk items (one they've cleaned properly many times in the past and then the 2 they screwed up but now will not give me a credit)
I used to use ihateironing weekly. I stopped using them as often because their delivery drivers had trouble with figuring out how to access our gate and it was too much of a hassle, but I still used ihateironing on occasion for dry cleaning and for specialty things like mattress pads or bulky items. And I never complain. Ever. I have been a faithful client for a long time! They made a mistake with my dry cleaning items. I had specialty silk items that I placed in my dry cleaning bag - to be DRY CLEANED only and they were returned to me washed and they were completely ruined. Shrunken, misshapen, all a mess. So I replaced the items immediately, which cost me $140. I shared the photos with them for ihateironing to see these 2 items that were ruined next to the same silk item that they properly cleaned in the past so they could contrast side by side -- the one cleaned properly still smooth and perfect. the 2 they ruined all lumpy and not even the same size!!! So I expected at minimum some sort of credit for future services. I felt that would be totally reasonable. Instead, I'm told that they "investigated" and "over time silk can fade" What???? Unbelievable. Do not use them. They don't take care of their customers when they screw up!

Unreliable.
Scheduled a collection for 7pm -8.30 Friday evening from Weybridge and had text confirmation an hour before. No one turned up. I phoned and the customer service rep was very helpful but she said they’d had a problem with the driver and re-scheduled for the next morning between 7-9. No one turned up and there was no communication whatsoever to warn of a problem. I phoned at 4pm. No explanation. I won’t ever use again.

Formal Complaint
Formal Complaint – Extremely Rude and Disrespectful Behaviour
The delivery person behaved in an extremely rude, impolite, and disrespectful manner. As we opened the main entrance door of our building to exit, he forced his way inside, physically blocking our path, as though he had some entitlement to enter before the residents.
What was even more unacceptable was that he did not apologise and instead tried to argue with us when we pointed out his behaviour. We made it clear that, at the very least, he should have apologised for deliberately forcing his way past us.
This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Delivery personnel are expected to treat EVERYBODY with basic courtesy and respect.

An absolute nightmare from start to…
An absolute nightmare from start to finish. I booked a collection slot, waited around, and no one showed up. When I called, I was falsely reassured someone was on the way. No one arrived. I called back only to be told they had no idea what happened and couldn't collect until the next day.The next day, they finally collected my items. However, the delivery quality was appalling. The clothes were horribly rolled up—resembling how a teenager throws clothes away rather than a professional folding job. Everything was shoved into a small white plastic bag and then stuffed right back into the dirty bag I used to send the laundry in. I even found used, dirty gloves mixed in with my clean items, and multiple garments had white marks on them.This service cost nearly £300, yet the presentation looked nothing like the premium images advertised on their website. This is blatant false advertising. When I complained, management failed to grasp the issue and offered a pathetic partial refund. They also offered to recollect the clothes to rectify the mistakes; I waited in yet again, only for no one to turn up for a second time. They even insultingly offered to "send me bags" instead of addressing the hygiene and service failures. Save your money; this company does not deliver what they promise.

I’ve used ihateironing several times now and have always been really impressed with the service. Everything is incredibly easy from start to finish, with convenient collection and delivery, great communication, and clothes always coming back perfectly cleaned, pressed and looking like new.
The service is reliable, professional and saves so much time and hassle. I’ve trusted them with some of my more expensive clothes too and everything has always been looked after brilliantly.
