I ordered a vegan sachertorte for my bf birthday. The cake is very nice, and flavour well balanced.
Also, I had a great experience with the customer service. Initially I had ordered the non vegan sachertorte and had no problem amending the order. DPD missed the delivery despite me being home, the customer service helped me raise the issue and offered a replacement cake straight away.

Have ordered a few times now, the cakes are delicious and we also like the Styrian pumpkin seed oil. The customer service is exemplary. We look forward to trying their restaurant in the future

Vegan Sasha Torte, nothing compares. The best. Need to order more often :)

I am writing this to warn others who, like my wife and me, do not fit the "British or European" demographic. Our experience at this restaurant was deeply uncomfortable due to what felt like clear racial bias in their seating policy and service.

We visited without a reservation specifically to try their schnitzel. Upon arrival, the restaurant was nearly empty. When we informed the waiter we didn’t have a booking, the staff huddled to whisper among themselves before finally seating us at the least comfortable table in the house—right next to the waiter station/service area. At first, we gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming the empty tables were reserved.

However, as our meal progressed, we witnessed several other walk-in groups (who were British/European) arrive without reservations. Unlike us, they were invited to choose any table they liked in the main dining area. The contrast in treatment was impossible to ignore.

To make matters worse, the food quality does not justify the high prices, especially when coupled with indifferent service. The staff seemed uninterested, and the underlying atmosphere of exclusion was incredibly off-putting.

If you are not of white British or European descent, I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. This establishment clearly has progress to make regarding how they treat guests from diverse backgrounds.

Lovely moist sponge and apricot jam covered in a thick layer of yummy chocolate.
For anyone looking for a quality chocolate experience I highly recommend this Austrian specialty. The best Sacher Torte outside of Austria.

What a find; I’m really impressed with this shopping experience. I had a couple of questions which were quickly answered and Helmut was friendly and helpful. I’ve bought a selection of jams, mustard, sauerkraut and best of all, a box of 4 small cakes and a beautiful hand decorated with a personal message Sachertorte which was quickly devoured. Outstanding cake; well balanced and the apricot jam was spot on. Everything well packed and arrived intact. Really happy to recommend.

Ordered several times and always a very good experience. The cakes and wine are always the best.

So far we have tried the Apple Cake, Mozart torte and the Sacher Torte. Can not choose one above the others. All have arrived well packed and are really really tasty.
Will be having more we love them.

Great pastries and Sachertorte. As good as the tortes in Vienna. The Gruner Veltliner wine also superb. Thanks also to Ben who arranged the delivery in time for my wife’s birthday!

I’ve just tried two types of cakes and also the coffee.That I’ve already tasted in Austria years ago and I must say that what I ordered satisfied my palate.Delivery was also excellent.Price are a little high,but it’s worth it.

Received another fabulous cake via the post from Kipferl. The Linz torte is wonderful and true to the recipe. You would have to travel to Austria to find anything as good.
Packaged well and arrived perfect.
I have been ordering since 2021 and have never been disappointed with any of the cakes.

Easy to use website with all the lovely cakes and wine to look at.
Very good information on the wines and the ingredients of the cakes.
I ordered cakes and Christmas biscuits first which were delicious.
For my birthday, I ordered some special Austrian wines which are hard to get in the UK.
I was delighted with that delivery as well.
I like that it is possible to choose a day for delivery. That way you can make sure you are in.
I am very happy that I discovered this little gem.

The large cake was fine, although the smaller cakes got a bit squished.

High quality Christmas biscuits, made with quality ingredients and taste amazingly good. If you are an Austrian expat like myself you will know what you are missing from the land of the alps. Danke Hubert and your team for providing this kind of food products in the UK. If I wouldn’t have a daytime job, I would come and work for you in the bakery. 😊
