Wonderful cake, delivered on time. The birthday girl says you’re the best.

Excellent products and reliable delivery.

I have been a KIPFERL's customer for several years and have never had a negative or mediocre experience with them. I have tried almost all of their cakes (the very latest one, Dubai Sachertorte, pending), and their cakes and biscuits are always of high quality, fresh, and delicious.
If you have a big sweet tooth, go for Maronitorte (the chestnut cake) or Dobos Torte (the caramel cake). Their Sachertorte, in my opinion, is better than the one in Cafe Central, Vienna.
My favourite cakes include Caprese (the almond-chocolate cake, sumptuous and moist especially for an almond cake), Linzer Torte (red currant spiced with cinnamon), Jewish Apple Cake (apples are not just layered on top of the cake but they are also mixed in the very body of the cake, which makes it so much more apple-y), Topfentorte (a cake made from quark), the Mohntorte (the cocoa-poppyseed cake).
KIPFERL also sell lots of delicious coffees, jams (the Staud's limited edition apricot jam is the best commercial jam I have ever tried, it is just like homemade , as if made out of the best apricots you picked out in your own orchard), gherkins, spicy (but not too hot) tiny peppers, etc. They also have a range of really good Austrian wines.

The customer support is outstanding (thank you Ben!) - I have had to reschedule the making and delivery of a couple of orders in the past, no problem whatsoever. All packages arrive safely packed and in a great condition.
I am truly happy that I have discovered this gem of a bakery/restaurant/shop in the past as it has been making my life sweeter and more pleasant.

The Sacher Torte was beautifully decorated with personalized birthday wishes and it was truly heavenly.
It was delivered in perfect condition and I will definetely will order again :)

First time I used Kipferl cakes to order on line and I was not disappointed. Hubert was most helpful to me. I thought the service I got was first class and the produce delivered to our friends was magnificent and received rave reviews from them. I found Hubert and his staff very nice to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use their services again.

Last Sunday we were a party of three. Although the quality was generally alright, one item let this place really down: the G'spritzter! I am half Austrian and to serve half a glass of wine with TAP WATER and plenty of ice is NOT a G'spritzter! There needs to be SPARKLING OR SODA WATER and no ice! This is supposed to be an Austrian restaurant and not one from Malibu! On top of this, to charge £8.00 for a bit of wine and plenty of tap water and ice felt like a complete fleece! Actually, had we taken only the G'spritzter, I would have given 1 star only! They have to be far more authentic if they want to claim to be an Austrian restaurant!!!!

Really enjoyed the Dubai chocolate Sachertorte that was delivered on Saturday 16th August. The cake was absolutely delicious and just like the Dubai chocolate that we ate there at Easter. Love the crunchy vermicelli filling and not the pistachio cream that you get in other cakes, which make it really sweet. The cake was enjoyed by all - young and old. The birthday boys - 40 years and 2 years old - especially loved the cake.
The delivery gentleman was very polite and friendly as well.
All in all a very pleasurable experience and will definitely recommend the cake and the company.

I have ordered 5 cakes from Kipferl as we had a lot of guests visiting from Austria for our son's wedding. Don't know which one to recommend first as they were all so tasty. I ordered the Sacher Torte, Esterhazy Torte, Dobos Torte and the Haus Torte. Loved them all! Thank you Hubert for bringing Vienna to London.

I ordered a birthday cake and it arrived damaged. Their response surprised me; they seemed to imply that damage was to be expected. They offered me a refund on the delivery fee (£5) or a £15 voucher for a future purchase. I opted for the voucher.

Most of their shop is not eligible for delivery, and so I ended up spending another £15 to get apfel strudel, which also was significantly damaged in transit.

The cake was yummy but the strudel was soggy.

I have ordered baked goods from other companies around the UK that were able to deliver undamaged, tasty goods.

I cannot recommend this bakery for delivered orders.

I awaited the Dobos Torte with trepidation, after the slightly disappointing Linzer Torte and really disappointing Dubai Sachertorte, I need not have worried, OMG, what a cake, sponge so light, had it been any lighter it would have floated away, and filling not overly sweet, a perfect combination, only problem is you may get carried away and devour more than you intend, I did, but "je ne regrette rien".

We had 2x two tier vegan Sachertorte for our wedding, and people loved it! Cannot recommend highly enough! Hubert and the team were also very flexible with picking up the cake and were very accommodating for our requests! Thank you!

I thought the service was excellent and very good variety on offer to buy. The quality was fantastic- I love the coffee and Jams available and all authentic from Vienna/Austria. Will buy again

I recently ordered the Dubai Sachertorte from Kipferl, (for my husbands Birthday) and it was truly exceptional! This authentic Austrian Sachertorte, with its rich chocolate layers, perfectly balanced apricot jam, and glossy icing, is crafted with remarkable precision. We enjoyed every bite and felt it delivered the genuine taste of Vienna, showcasing Kipferl’s dedication to quality.
The customer service was outstanding. A delivery issue occurred due to an error with DPD, the courier company. This was not the fault of Kipferl, rather the courier, but the customer team resolved it with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency, ensuring the cake arrived as promised. I was impressed by the level of care and politeness as it makes all the difference and keeps customers coming back.

I’ll definitely order from Kipferl again and highly recommend their Dubai Sachertorte to anyone seeking a true Austrian treat. Thank you, Kipferl, for an unforgettable experience!

Ordered the Ezterhazy cupcakes for my husband as he is GF, and he loved them. They arrived, in Scotland, on the specified day in perfect condition. The cakes were so moist and tasty. Very moreish.

I gave Kipferl only a weekend to expedite a personalised Sachertorte to me for my wife’s birthday. This they achieved and the gift was much appreciated. All we lacked was a string quartet playing Mozart to give us the feeling we were back in Vienna!
I can confidently recommend them!
