such an easy website to order, a lovely choice of cakes. The Sachertorte cake and small cakes were delicious. I ordered for a party at the weekend and they were such a success. I shall certainly be ordering from Kipferl again.

The cake was good as usual, however there was some minor damage around the perimeter due to transit.

The atmosphere at Kipferl is fantastic and the food to match. It is like being in Austria when you eat here. I also purchase pumpkin seed oil from Kipferl, usually 6 bottles at time. This oil makes a salad taste wonderful and is very, very healthy. This online purchase is so easy and always reliable. It is a brilliant way to have taste of Austria all year round. This place call few cake as austrian but it is fake. They blocked me on Facebook when I told it them. Esterhazy cake is hungarian and not monarch cake. For example the samosa never will be english food.

Unacceptable behaviour.

The staff bent over backwards to rectify some technology issues that I exoerienced when buying a special Birthday Present for a friend.
Friendly, apologetic and super efficient and very quick to offer a gesture of goodwill which was appreciated

First class cakes coupled with a first class service. If you are looking for something to impress your guests look no further.

My friend ordered wine and an apple cake. We had a piece of the cake this afternoon and it was delicious! She will keep the wine for later-I think I might be invited to taste a bit as well. H. was really impressed with every aspect of her order.

I ordered some fresh cakes to arrive today & when DHL didn’t look like they were going to deliver for the birthday treat this evening their member of staff helped sort this out so they came on time. They liaised with me personally. They were really lovely & I am eternally grateful

Not great quality cake, cramped and rude staff. Not worth the trip at all, many better bakeries nearby and around London.

Excellent cakes and good customer service, DHL let me down by one day but everything arrived in good condition and Kipferl responded instantly to my query. Will use again.

I order on line for delivery to Manchester and have done for a number of years. I have ordered every cake on the list and each time I am amazed by the quality and taste.
This Christmas I have just received my Esterhazy which is unbelievable and my favourite.
I would recommend anyone to try them as I am sure you won't be disappointed no matter which cake you order.

Just received delivery of a 0.6kg Tiroler Christmas Stollen - Christstollen. Delivery was a day earlier than requested. The stollen is slightly burnt, hard as rock with only the icing sugar and marzipan palatable. A major disappointment. I had a stollen delivered last year from Germany which was perfect, lesson learned.

My partner treated me to a birthday meal at Kipferl as one of my fave dishes is Käsespätzle wit Kartoffel salat (Potato salad). My partner is from the Voralberg area where this dish originates so is a must whenever we visit.

My partner had the soup of the day which was watery and tasteless - saved only by the few sourdough bread slices.

The celebratory dish should have been the Käsespätzle! OMG this was the WORST Käsespätzle I have EVER tasted. It is a dish we know well and eat often when in Voralberg, Austria. Käsespätzle is made with a specific dough recipe and has 4 types of cheese (made only in Voralberg) generously spread over the spätzle and melted. The Käse (cheese) was definitely NOT what was used and is an essential ingredient in the dish and therefore the distinct aroma of the cheese totally missing. The spätzle should be well formed kernels of dough, light and pillowy.. this was soft and mushy and all it tasted of was EGG!!!!! The presentation and taste were absolutely awful.

The kartoffel (potato) salad failed to delight too. What was presented was a lazy, sloppy salad made of thick rounds of boiled potato swimming in dressing. This would never be served this way in an AUTHENTIC Austrian restaurant or home in Voralberg!

During the meal not one member of staff asked how the food was... did they know that it was awful and that we were being ripped off?

Needless to say my Kirferl birthday lunch was ruined.

We are both disappointed and angry at this awful experience and NEVER again will we eat there... what a WASTE of MONEY and what they promise on their menu in terms of authentic Käsespätzle and kartoffel salat is definitely NOT what they provide.

To be fair they have refunded immediately so I have given them two extra stars

Update the replacement cakes arrived today having sat in a van overnight because of delivery failure yesterday ( we were in).
They are again terribly damaged and look nothing like the ones on the website

The cakes are nice but arrived badly damaged. I contacted the firm twice with photos they didn't respond immediately but did when I put it on here immediately offered to send new cakes
