Lawnstarter allows its users to be confronted
Lawnstarter automatically adds a tip if the service is 4stars or better. That is unacceptable, so I don't give 4 starts to avoid that.
They also allow their partner organizations to have access to the reviews and confront homeowners who used the service. I was sent rude messages from the company who mowed my lawn. They did an average job. This should not be allowed.

An explanation of hard working Americans …
So first the app chooses anyone that has a lawnmower to service your property. Second the actual service people you find that are decent, only get 63% of what you pay. Third there are ridiculous fees that just seem made up. Fourth you are forced to use the app 3 times im order to cancel. Not to mention what the service people go through. The company is not based in America and its a exploitation of hard working Americans trying to find work.

Due to circumstances, I do not live at my house, anymore. I needed the front lawn mowed, and that's when, I found LawnStarter. Richard, I'm sure is taking good care of my front lawn, he comes every other week, and although I don't live there anymore, I'm sure he does a good job. LawnStarter is easy to set up, and the fee to mow my lawn is very economical. I highly recommend LawnStarter, they are good to do business with.

Fraud - bait and switch pricing
They guarantee a super competitive price and then try to hook you with a 400% increased rate. Also they have zero control over their third party landscaping companies. So they could guarantee a service date and then literally don’t show up. They have been rescheduling me daily for over a week. They are literally running an illegal marketing strategy and should be sued to the ground. I will look into this.
