Jake from the social team here. I’m sorry things didn’t work out. Feather doesn’t require some of the more involved paperwork that many of the bigger companies do. There were several facets of the order you placed - including those that you mentioned here - that left our credit and finance team with questions. When they weren’t able to get clarification in time for your requested delivery date, the orders had to be canceled.

It was pretty easy. I ordered a package so I didn’t have to choose specific items. Feather delivered my furniture and we are pleased with the quality.

They were excellent! The furniture was much nicer than the images on line and brand new. The delivery team was professional and on time. I would highly recommend them. The bedframes were especially nice and modern!

Feather was utterly awesome
Feather was utterly awesome! Instead of renting that AWFUL stuff from other places, I stumbled upon Feather and was thrilled. Other places look so boring and soulless. Feather on the other hand is modern and hip and stylish. I would not be embarrassed to say I had bought it! They delivered on time, and were professional and easy to deal with. I furnished my place while I was between tenants and it was just like I was home again. And at half the price of those other places. LOVE IT.

Great customer service. We were able to rent attractive high quality modern furniture for a couple months while staging our apartment for sale. It looked great. Everyone at Feather was a pleasure to work with.

Jeff was always available via phone or email and quick to respond with any changes needed to the number/selection of pieces and scheduling assistance. He was very helpful.
However, on the delivery day I was very surprised when 2 guys showed up with over 30 boxes that all needed to be assembled in the house (aside from about 5 pieces) Instead of the 2-3 hour install estimate this took all day, went into a 2nd day, and a 3rd day a broken piece had to be swapped out. It took them 4 hours just to assemble the closet item which came in about 100 pieces....It was the exact experience of the photo feather uses (a girl sitting in a pile of ikea parts) to advertise that this is NOT a the feather experience. I was surprised at how off they were in estimating the amount of time required... I had to change my schedule to be there for 2 days to surpervise as well as help bring boxes in from their haul, open, and assemble. There was a mess from opening boxes - cardboard and stirofoam - and when I asked if they had a shotvac or a way of cleaning they said they did not. They went and bought a broom and we all swept.
I emailed this to Jeff and was again surprised that feather offered no refund or consolation for this experience and my effort required.

The experience you've described is far from the way things are meant to go and was likely early in our history before we got the system figured out (these days all installers bring their own shop vacs for example).
