Cheaper on comparison site than through renewal
Had to cancel my renewal to get the lower price from comparison website rather than just been able to get the price directly from Lloyds. Strange that a new customer gets a lower cost than an existing customer. Shame there's no reward for customer loyalty.
Other than that, I really like the website as everything is accessible and easily laid out. Great price compared to other companies.

I'm sorry it was cheaper to buy a new policy that renew your policy. Please be aware that your renewal was migrated from BISL Limited to AXA Insurance UK and the criteria used to check premiums may have been different to what the previous underwriter used.

Searched around for ages trying get a good quote for my insurance.
I was with 1st central but my renewal £750 last year it had been £550 there was no way of negotiating with them and was not able to speak to a human being!🤬
Got through to Lloyds spoke to a lovely young lady who was so helpful! Job done! Very pleased with the service!
I bank with Lloyds and have always found them to be excellent!

Shocking poor experience with Lloyds /…
Shockingly poor experience with Lloyds / MBNA/Halifax/BoS when it comes to claims. Or experience as a customer of BoS for almost 40 years has led us to change bank and we will be changing insurer once we get the current situation settled ( probably at court). They are failing in their own complaints’ process and in accessing the subject access requests I have made ( now progressing to the Information Commissioner). Do not bank or insure with this group.

Let down existing cstomer
I am an existing customer and had auto renew setup. The renewal price was, quite frankly, extortionate (£456). I started from scratch with a quote from Lloyds and even with £0 voluntary excess it was £100 cheaper. I find it ridiculous that a loyal existing customer can be effectively conned into paying an inflated price for the same product. Do better!!

Viewing documents on line does not work
Getting a quote and arranging it was fine.
The policy became active on 28.6.2026 so I waited until after that date to check all is well. The documents said to be coming in the post have not arrived.
When I followed instructions to check online, I logged in, as a Club Lloyds customer, and went to Insurance to check the Policy Documents. It logged me out and told me to log in again. That is rediculous.

I entered all my details and got a quote which covered all I needed it wasn't the cheapest but was quite a bit cheaper than my renewal with the existing insurer. Lloyds seem to have good reviews so i accepted the quote.
